18/08/2025: It's a guarantee! At lunchtime, you can enjoy an excellent first course at a truly affordable price. The express cuisine offers tasty and delicious options. The family-run business makes it a very informal place where you'll immediately feel at home. One of my favorites for both business lunches and dinners with friends. The free parking in the district opposite makes it a great option in an area with limited parking.

14/08/2025: A very, very warm welcome. We were lost, waiting for the Air B&B key, and they welcomed us before their opening time, while we waited. Very warm. Very good family meals. We ate more than we were hungry for. We definitely recommend it!

23/08/2025: I've been going there often for years, a point of reference for good pizza, always excellent, super digestible even for the most sensitive stomachs

15/08/2025: After our arrival, we stopped here on our way to our hotel. It was one of the best pizzas we had, with kind and good-humored service! I really like Roman pizza! They also have gluten-free pasta! Arrivederci!

03/09/2025: I arrived by chance... I was amazed by the care, attention, and quality of the cuisine. The atmosphere welcomed us as if we were at home. Perfect tablecloths, matching dishes. Thinking it was a small trattoria, the owner surprised us with a gourmet menu, created with so much care and love... each dish explained in minute detail, it could easily have been the menu of a very fine restaurant. Of course, the eight appetizers prevented us from trying anything else, but I loved every dish... and next time I'll choose something else. The last gem... the coffee... strictly from a percolator, served the way my grandmother used to make it... a tray with a coffee pot, milk, and sugar bowl... wonderful. Bravo!

12/08/2025: This restaurant is a journey through flavors. There's no à la carte menu, but a selection of daily specials to choose from. It starts with a series of appetizers that build in flavor and savoriness. Then comes the three first courses, from which you can choose one or have a taste of all three. The same goes for the second courses, which were truly delicious: you could choose between pork, veal, and lamb... all extraordinary. I can't comment on the desserts because we didn't order them, having been completely full. All washed down with an excellent Cesanese del Piglio. Highly recommended!!!

16/07/2025: Excellent food and atmosphere. Really feels like a family neighbourhood eatery. We enjoyed Fieno Canepinese every time we come but have tried different things over the years. We had 9 people in the group and they have accommodated us well.

22/06/2025: Li conosco dalla prima generazione ho avuto l' onore di pranzare più volte con il nonno ero quattordicenne, ad oggi dopo tre generazioni di gestione il loro piatto forte il fieno è ottimo come allora, gentilezza cortesia e tanta professionalità sono il loro forte...oltre a piatti rinnovati con prodotti tipici e genuini di grande qualità una vera trattoria rinnovata!!

07/09/2025: Extremely friendly staff, welcomed and served by Andrea, who was extremely kind and friendly, and by Asia, who was very kind and sweet. We had an excellent carbonara cooked by Neapolitan chef Carlo. Creamy with crispy bacon. Truly top-notch!

I travel around Rome often for work, and I haven't yet found a place that offers carbona with truffle as excellent as theirs. Gabriele (the owner) welcomed us right away with friendliness and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Since the change of management, the restaurant has taken on a much more family-friendly and welcoming feel, with excellent quality ingredients and very affordable prices. A special mention for Carmine (the waiter who served us); his level of attention and friendliness is remarkable! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back again 🙂

23/08/2025: A very cute and quaint place, all in stone. Very good starters with cured meats, spectacular carbonara, as well as tagliata with lard and spring onions. Fast service and courteous and friendly staff.

13/08/2025: I'll start this review by saying that we went there for dinner one evening and immediately made a reservation for the following evening. We gave ample space to the meat, and it was an excellent choice because it's truly high quality. For both dinners, we ordered sliced veal, picanha, slow-cooked cinta, hand-chopped tartare, sliced veal, and sashi (about 1 kg). Not a single dish disappointed us! Everything was truly delicious! Furthermore, the service was attentive and friendly, and they gave us expert and professional advice. Every time we're in the area, it will definitely be a regular stop. I highly recommend trying it!

28/08/2025: From the moment we arrived, the experience was confusing and unwelcoming. The restaurant doors were locked with no instructions on how to enter, and there was nobody at the reception area to greet us. We were seated right away once we got inside and given water, but oddly, it was placed on a side table out of reach, leaving us to get up and refill our own glasses since nobody came back to do it for us. After that, we sat for more than 20 minutes without anyone approaching us. I tried to make eye contact several times and couldn’t even meet eyes with a single employee. When a server finally did come over, there was no warmth or hospitality, just a blunt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told they take your food order first at this restaurant, which was weird considering the table next to us had wine and food menus when we sat down. We were told by the server that a sommelier would come by after placing the food order, but no one ever did. Instead, another staff member dropped off a few breadsticks after 30+ minutes with no drinks or food, with no acknowledgment of the missing drink order, curtly told me to move my menu out of his way. I explained it was still there because I hadn’t been able to order a drink, but he couldn’t have cared less. The entire interaction felt dismissive and rude. All the while, other tables had multiple staff members hovering over them, making the lack of attention to us even more glaring. When we finally decided to leave, the staff’s response was apathetic at best, and again, delivered with attitude. We’ve visited several Michelin restaurants across Italy, and the service has always been extraordinary. This, however, was the worst dining experience of our trip. For a restaurant with such a reputation, the indifference and rudeness were shocking. In the end, the casual pizza place across the street treated us far better and was infinitely more enjoyable.

28/08/2025: We were seated immediately and given water, but that was the only positive part of the experience. We then waited over 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. When someone finally arrived, there was no welcome, no explanation of the menu—just a curt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told the sommelier would come by, but after another 15 minutes no one ever showed up. At that point, we gave up. In total, we sat from 8:45 to 9:20 and had nothing but water. Meanwhile, every other table seemed to have 3–4 staff attending to them, which made us feel completely ignored and unwelcome. When we explained we were leaving, the response was dismissive and full of attitude. We’ve dined at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants across Italy, and the service has been outstanding everywhere else. Here, it was the worst experience of our trip. Honestly, the pizza place across the street that we settled on was far more welcoming and ultimately enjoyable.

08/09/2025: A few nights ago, 15 of us stopped by. We had a coffee at the counter. 2 people asked to go to the bathroom. The owner, I think, was a blonde lady, a bit grumpy, and she also told us that we could only use the bathroom after we had finished our drinks. We said we had done so. The lady, with an arrogant air, said the exact words. I don't remember, but it's ok. I think she wrote to us. Anyway, I had to give it a star just to comment. We definitely won't go there again.

07/09/2025: Stopped here for a late lunch in Lido. We got a couple of pastas which we really enjoyed. The covered terrace has a nice view of the piazza and ocean.
