19/06/2025: I was really happy to have discovered a restaurant like this, I had dinner with my friend, tonight, for the first time and I was enchanted by the service, excellent wine, and from the appetizer to the dessert everything was delicious, two different first courses: ravioli filled with amberjack, tagliolini with cherry tomatoes, shrimp and other fish, a special sauce! Then to follow, crispy octopus with mashed potatoes, excellent and as anticipated, creamed cod, good. I will return to try something else from the menu.

25/07/2025: Woodstock A beautiful and perfectly managed event! Great music, beautiful decor, superb sandwiches, and unlimited beer...all in a fairytale setting. The kids were thrilled! Highly recommended.

24/07/2025: Attended for a wedding which was amazing and food, location, service were amazing. Pools clean, lots of shaded areas. Down side was air-conditioning in our room which was non existent, asked at reception and got a fan, which moved warm air around. Other rooms had great air con. Also no water in room or kettle for tea/ coffee. Recommend for weddings but need upgrade the older rooms.

29/06/2025: The quality restaurant both fish and meat menu. Tradition is respected in the dishes prepared by the chef, with some innovative tips, which is not bad! Courtesy present in the dining room staff and renewed location that creates a familiar atmosphere!

13/07/2025: If you happen to pass through Piglio, in the province of Frosinone, there's a place you absolutely must try: Pompeo's Osteria del Vicolo Fatato. It's a true gem, a small and welcoming place where the food is truly delicious. The atmosphere is warm, familiar, and a bit rustic...just like the osterias of old. What I was pleasantly surprised by is that there's no printed menu: Pompeo tells you in person what's good that day. Each dish is prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and you can taste the love for traditional cuisine, with a creative touch... the food is exquisite, the portions are just right, and you can see the attention to every detail. The service is attentive but never intrusive, and Pompeo knows how to make you feel at home, always with a smile... the prices are fair, which doesn't hurt. My heartfelt advice: it's best to reserve, especially on weekends, because there aren't many seats and the place gets very busy.

He told us the story of each dish with passion and enthusiasm, making us feel like we were part of a unique culinary tradition. The quality of the dishes was simply TOP! We couldn't decide which was the best, because each dish was a masterpiece. The cuisine is authentic, creative and full of love. It is absolutely worth the trip from Rome to Piglio just to eat there. The service is welcoming and the owner is a true enthusiast. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!* If you are a lover of good food, you can't miss this place! ❤️❤️❤️

29/05/2025: Truly exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, we encountered a welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff who immediately made us feel at ease. Amazing selection of excellent cocktail drinks, as well as a vast and refined selection of beers, spirits and liqueurs. The menu offers a delicious range of offerings, all expertly crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a delight, bold flavors and beautiful presentation. Attentive and competent staff provide excellent advice, thus confirming our satisfaction. I can't wait to return to Monte Street Bistrot to explore more of their delicious creations. Absolutely recommended!

22/06/2025: We used a voucher for a "classic tasting menu". The welcome and care were impeccable. The dining room staff pays the right amount of attention to the guests. A clear sign of professionalism that is not improvised, but of experience and preparation. The courses follow one another to live a real experience. Scents, flavors, colors and shapes are chosen and prepared by an artist. The sommelier suggests wines to accompany the experience with expertise. He understands the guests' choices and guides them to the best choice. Another positive note, not to be taken for granted, is the coffee: usually restaurants offer "anonymous" coffee. In this case, the product offered was superlative. This restaurant is a gem: the chef offers unique creations, the dining room staff puts the customers at ease and the food and drinks are excellent. You have to come back more than once.

19/07/2025: The best pizzas I've eaten in Rome. Very friendly service from the waiters and reasonable prices. For dessert, an excellent pistachio tiramisu.

18/07/2025: I had a pizza freshly baked in the oven. The Neapolitan pizza with ricotta cheese on the end of the pizza was also delicious. It's a flavor that Koreans will like.

11/07/2025: The pizzas here are a perfect balance of a thin, crispy crust and fresh, high-quality topping. I asked Fabrizio to surprise me with a pizza of his choice. ……and he did……..very delicious.

10/07/2025: The gentleman at the gate preferred a few girls standing right behind us while we (family with a kid) were waiting for an eye contact to ask for a table. He totally ignored us. Un fiasco completo!

23/06/2025: We were surprised by how good everything was. Simple, creative, and delicious.

02/06/2025: After receiving a Smartbox for a gourmet dinner for 2 we opted for this restaurant given the many positive reviews, but the experience turned out not to be as expected. Saturday night: we were only 2 couples in the entire restaurant. The restaurant is half under a building and half all veranda in a garden… The courses follow one another with beautiful presentations and with fairly detailed explanations given by the kind and courteous waitress. However, each dish is "too mixed", with too many flavors and too many ingredients not combined but mixed in the true sense of the term. The combinations are not enhanced but each ingredient is lost submerged by the other, causing the unitary taste to be lost and left confused. From the appetizer in the shape of a roll with various ingredients of sea, land, fried eggplant peels and puree of something, to the broken spaghetti with too much mushroom sauce, stracciatella and 1 mini red shrimp (but the sauce was really too excessive) up to the sea bass also presented in the shape of a roll, or involtino, divided into 2 parts and also this placed on a puree of... I don't know... the flavors get lost. The sea bass also seemed good, but it was cancelled out by too many other flavors and by the crunchy transparent crust that wrapped it which however was too sticky and gluey in the mouth. Unfortunately this is repeated until the dessert. This also looks good to the eye but then the creamy/ice cream with sweet crunchy crumble, honey dripping, pieces of meringue, banana chips and a yellow puree of I don't remember what also sweet makes you lose the only strong flavor that had struck me which was that of a nice coffee. The accompanying breads are simple but well made: mini baguette, red pizza, small sandwich, 2 breadsticks, and 2 pieces of focaccia alla pugliese. In conclusion I admit that we expected something different, no dish impressed us, no combination made us say wow, but everything left us a bit perplexed, as well as the bathroom of the place that would require renovation or modernization. The fact that even the waitress never asked us how our tasting was going and if our dishes were to our liking left me suspicious. Did she also know that something was going wrong? Is it better not to ask to avoid any criticism on the dishes? Maybe the chef still has to find the right way and what I can recommend is: LESS IS MORE. Apart from the Smartbox we paid €8 for two for service and 1 natural water.
