30/01/2026: Yesterday I wanted to have dinner at a restaurant near Sonnino, but it was closed, so my husband and I drove up to the village and stopped at this place. It was the last Thursday in January, so it's normal for there to be no customers, but they treated us well, and the dishes on the menu are typical of the area.
The appetizer wasn't bad, with a certain homemade quality, the veal steak was good, and the sautéed mixed chicory was delicious.
I had an unpleasant episode of sudden low blood pressure, and the lady at the restaurant intervened immediately, making me feel at ease and reassuring me until I recovered, truly kind.
The only thing, in my opinion, is that it's a bit expensive.
But as we all know, everything increases.

Warm welcome, friendliness, and professionalism.
A place that evokes the past, the family...
Excellent selection of ingredients, delicious dishes for the eyes and the palate...

01/03/2026: We stayed with a dear friend at Gasbarri in Castel San Pietro Romano, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Special thanks go to Oscar, the owner, who welcomed us with extraordinary kindness and attentiveness, making us feel immediately at home.
We dined and stayed with our two children, ages 5 and 2, and everything was perfect: the delicious dinner, the magical atmosphere of the village, and the extremely comfortable stay. Traveling with small children is not always easy, but here we found every comfort and incredible hospitality. It was all beautiful and relaxing.
Thanks again to Oscar and our friend for introducing us to this gem. We will definitely be back!

15/03/2026: We ate wonderfully. For starters, a platter of cured meats and cheeses with jams was truly excellent. For our first course, we all had risotto with broccoli and trout, which everyone loved. For dessert, we had panna cotta and tiramisu. I had the tiramisu, which I found delicious and beautifully presented with a little flower. Not to mention the location, which is wonderful with a view of the lake. I highly recommend it!

18/01/2026: A restaurant with meticulous attention to detail, it feels like a step back in time to the Middle Ages. The food is fresh and homemade. Signora Maria Loretta is incredibly kind and charming, and brightens up the meal by sharing the history of her family from Casalvieri. We'll be back soon. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: A charming inn located in the village of Castro dei Volsci. You can reach it by walking uphill through the houses in the historic center (a bit of a climb), but it's definitely worth it.
A tasty menu with limited choices.
I recommend the pasta and potatoes; it's delicious.

13/02/2026: We eat as much as we could fit in for a little over 100€. Fried mixed fish, calamar, prawns, and fried potatoes. Salad, desert and coffee also. Family of 4. Nice views too. Attentive and professional waiters.Three years ago, the atmosphere was much more pleasant thanks to the inner garden in white tones with greenery, where it was truly enjoyable to spend time. Now, the restaurant has introduced changes that unfortunately reduced the comfort, design, and beauty. However, the food and service remain at a good level. I still recommend this place.

Lovely, pleasant atmosphere with warming mushrooms.
Excellent service, well-trained waiters and organized ranks.
Despite the attention paid to customers, they are clearly attentive.
Clean and tidy uniforms. Kudos to Fabio, professional, kind, and fast.
The pizza and the chef's homemade fries are excellent.
Excellent value for money.

15/03/2026: We went to this osteria for dinner two days ago and had a great time. The food and service were both excellent. The waitress was very helpful and kind, and she recommended the best dishes. The place wasn't crowded, but it was intimate and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed both the first and second courses. The stew deserves an honorable mention! We highly recommend it!

20/03/2026: I ate at this restaurant and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. We tried the cacio e pepe and the amatriciana: both were truly delicious, well-made, and flavorful.
The staff was extremely courteous and attentive.
To finish, I also had a dessert... Simply delicious.
Definitely a place I'll return to and one I highly recommend!
