Osteria V8 A'tipika In Roma

I came across this restaurant almost by chance as it is located a few meters from my house. From the name I thought it was a simple Roman tavern but as soon as I entered I realized that the place was much more. The environment is welcoming, intimate and is also perfect for business dinners and birthdays (I never miss an opportunity to go there). Furthermore, the owner Fabrizio is very nice and always knows how to give the right advice based on tastes and also Cristina who often assists us during meals is a really kind and helpful girl. Let's move on, however, to the dishes because they really surprised me with the quality of the products, the presentation of the dish but above all the abundance. The appetizers are delicious, the parmigiana and fried anchovies are mandatory not to mention the Carbonara and Matriciana which are truly perfect (and I have tasted many around Rome). The second courses are also exceptional, the cockerel is a must and before Easter we ate fried cod with pine nuts, sultanas and I don't remember what else that reminded me of almost oriental flavours. The wine list, then, is really well stocked and I had the opportunity to taste a truly exquisite Bruciato di Bolgheri, a Taurasi 2019 vintage and a Primitivo di Manduria. In short, to conclude, you have to go to this restaurant at least once and I assure you that not only will you not regret it but you will return again and again.

Locale accogliente e davvero bello, servizio presente, attento, mai invadente, cibo squisito, con porzioni ricche e ben presentate. Una nota di merito aggiuntiva agli spaghetti con le vongole ed alla cortesia del proprietario. Torneremo sicuramente a provare tutti i piatti del menù!

Locale molto carino sia per l'arredo che per il contorno. Ottimo cibo ed il proprietario, è stato di una gentilezza e carineria unica.... Ci ha consigliato i piatti e alla fine abbiamo degustato ogni pietanza il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino.... Sicuramente lo consiglio a chi abita in zona Tuscolana/Appio Claudio, ma anche a chiunque voglia trascorrere una serata piacevole in una location unica....
