05/09/2025: My sister and I went here as it was popular on TikTok. The service was super friendly and atmosphere was great. The food was okay.. puttanesca had delicious flavour and would recommend - tasty and worth it! The cacio pepe, not so much as it doesn’t work with vegan ingredients. The spaghetti was too thick and felt like Heinz spaghetti can. Overall, not a bad option for vegan Italian food.

04/09/2025: Phenomenal food! An absolute vegan dream :) Even the vegan cheese was soooo delicious🌟 I'm absolutely thrilled! The staff was also incredibly friendly!

18/08/2025: The language barrier was significant, but they tried their best to serve us. We found a way to understand each other. The food, pizza and spaghetti carbonara, were excellent! Great value for money! Authentic and delicious! Be sure to make a reservation!

25/06/2025: Provare per credere. Vera trattoria a chilometro zero. Super bio… con allevamento in proprio di polli che vengono serviti… ovviamente morti e cotti al forno con peperoni altrettanto coltivati dal ristoratore. Da provare gli strengozzi… con un sughetto dolce e saporito… da paura. Si mangia sotto un pergolato e per chi arriva come me dalla capitale è un vero ristoro per la mente … e per lo stomaco.

05/07/2025: From cocktails to dinner everything was excellent and quality food!! Super staff!! Update: After a year or so that I hadn't gone because I had a bad experience the other night we saw that the "old" bartender or in any case the girl who runs the place had returned and as if by magic everything went as it once was, very kind staff, fabulous cocktails, perfect service!! So for those like us who hadn't gone because we had a bad experience, COME BACK because it's really worth it!!!

29/06/2025: A point of reference in Centocelle! I often go to Brikke for breakfast and every time it is a pleasure. The environment is welcoming, the staff is always very kind and helpful. They have an excellent selection of croissants, pizzas and even spit-roasted meat - ideal both for starting the day well and for a quick but tasty lunch. The quality is always high and you can feel the attention to detail. Highly recommended for those who are in the area or want to discover a nice place in Centocelle!

28/07/2025: The food was good and delicious, and we were actually looking forward to a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, the mood was dampened by two things. The waitresses seemed distracted and seemed to have lost some of their enthusiasm for their job over the years. However, they weren't unfriendly. The restrooms – like almost everywhere in Italy – aren't the cleanest, and there's no toilet seat or lid. After dinner, we had to wait a long time before a waiter noticed us again. What was particularly annoying was that our handbag was stolen – right at the last table outside. Since there were no other guests sitting behind, in front of, or next to us, we placed it on the floor (don't do that in Italy under any circumstances; always keep your bag in front of you, close to your body!). A middle-aged couple sat down in the interior area, which was visible through an open glass door. Initially, the table was so far away from us that we could easily walk through the glass door. The table was inconspicuously pushed very close to us, making it impossible to get through. After discovering the theft, two or three waiters suddenly appeared at our table (even through the glass door!). Once the bag was no longer found, they quickly cleared the entire table. It felt like less than five minutes later, new guests were sitting at that table. We were only advised to go to the police, and given a brief description of how to get there. That was the extent of the support we received. Despite signs indicating that there was video surveillance, when we asked, we were told there was no video surveillance.

07/09/2025: The meat was really good, but nothing incredible. The service was impeccable, and the location was "normal" (outdoor table on the sidewalk with paper placemats). I'm giving it 3 stars overall because I can't understand why the starting price for meat is €14 per 100 grams (1 kg of steak is €140). I have the opportunity to visit many restaurants throughout Italy for work, but honestly, I've never encountered such a high starting price, and I don't understand why.

23/06/2025: A unique and exceptional place that deserves the trio of 5 stars. We arrived by chance at Mr. Carlo's restaurant, who was very kind already on the phone, he immediately reserved a table for us. But the welcome was superb. Welcomed and served as guests, not just customers. Very clean place and meticulous attention from the outside to the inside. The menu was provided to us, but Mr. Carlo recommended, with expert accuracy, his dishes, genuine and full of flavor. Very generous portions, quality of seasonal ingredients and also low price for everything that lunch left us. I highly recommend going there. For the warmth of a place that will remain in your heart.

26/05/2025: Un piccolo ristorante poco distante dal contesto caotico e sovraffollato di Calcata vecchia. Piatti della tradizione del territorio e classici intramontabili, materie prime di ottima qualità con una buona scelta di vini del territorio e nazionali. Servizio veloce e piacevole, proprietario molto attento ad ogni particolare. Pulizia del ristorante e dei servizi davvero impeccabile, prezzi onesti ed atmosfera rilassata ed informale che favoriscono la piacevolissima sosta. Complimenti al Caraponzolo e a tutto lo staff. A presto

14/08/2025: I'm returning to this place after a few years, and what can I say? The WhatsApp messaging service that reminds you of your reservation (booked 2 hours in advance) and welcomes you when you arrive is useless... I would have appreciated a greeting from the owner, who practically dispenses orders to his servers and, sitting comfortably throughout the dinner, only bothered to pay the bill. The appetizer was prosciutto as thin as bread, cut into tiny slices. Then paying €27 for a tagliata (which was served whole and was a small steak weighing about 250-300g without any side dishes) is truly outrageous. Goodbye

10/08/2025: My first time at Taverna Mari was noteworthy, but I would have appreciated 20 grams more of pasta (but because it was really good!)
