03/10/2025: I rarely write reviews—good or bad—as I’ve always felt that my single experience may not reflect an establishment as a whole. But after spending three wonderful nights at Hotel Locarno with my wife and 3-year-old son, I feel certain that what we experienced is not unique to us, but the true spirit of this hotel. To begin with, the property itself is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, the breakfast was delicious and satisfying for all of us (including our little one), and the evening aperitivi were always a delight. Every aspect of the amenities and atmosphere was exceptional. Then there is the location - to us, the location could not be beat. What truly set Hotel Locarno apart, however, was the people. From the playful and warm Davide, to the kind and gracious Maurizio, to the cheerful and informative Ricardo—every single person we met radiated genuine care and kindness. The professionalism, warmth, and personal attention we received were unlike anything we’ve experienced in other hotels, whether in the US or abroad. Traveling with a lively 3-year-old can sometimes be a challenge, yet the staff treated him with patience, joy, and understanding. It’s one thing to extend kindness to adults who know the unspoken etiquette of a place, but to welcome a young child with such generosity and grace is something truly rare—and deeply appreciated. We will absolutely be returning to Hotel Locarno and hope to make it our home base for longer stays in the future. Until then, we will fondly remember this beautiful hotel and the remarkable people who made our time there so special.

01/10/2025: This is a great little gem of a hotel for you to consider when staying in Rome. It's celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025, so expect the quirky charm of an older establishment. The staff is attentive and courteous, and English isn't a problem if your Italian isn't up to par. Our corner room was large, as well as the bathroom. The claw foot tub was cool, but it made the shower less than luxurious (and a lot of water on the floor). Charming bar/restaurant seating area with a retractable roof. Located a few blocks from the Spanish Steps.

05/07/2025: From cocktails to dinner everything was excellent and quality food!! Super staff!! Update: After a year or so that I hadn't gone because I had a bad experience the other night we saw that the "old" bartender or in any case the girl who runs the place had returned and as if by magic everything went as it once was, very kind staff, fabulous cocktails, perfect service!! So for those like us who hadn't gone because we had a bad experience, COME BACK because it's really worth it!!!

29/06/2025: A point of reference in Centocelle! I often go to Brikke for breakfast and every time it is a pleasure. The environment is welcoming, the staff is always very kind and helpful. They have an excellent selection of croissants, pizzas and even spit-roasted meat - ideal both for starting the day well and for a quick but tasty lunch. The quality is always high and you can feel the attention to detail. Highly recommended for those who are in the area or want to discover a nice place in Centocelle!

05/10/2025: My friend and I went for coffee and dessert, prepared by the kitchen. We highly recommend it. It was delicious.

04/10/2025: We drank cocktails here (the worst of our lives) and smoked a shisha, which was okay. The ambiance is rather cold and uninspiring, but the lounge chairs on the roof terrace are very comfortable. The service was friendly, and the restrooms were mediocre.

19/10/2025: A well-kept, quiet place I've been to before, and it doesn't disappoint. The staff is friendly, fast, and organized. The fried parmigiana is excellent, the soft burger, perhaps a little overcooked, and finally, a very tender salmon steak. My only complaint is the salad, with too many slightly unbalanced ingredients that risk overpowering the fish. For the rest, see you soon.

18/10/2025: This is my third or fourth time eating here. I love it! Quality food, friendly and attentive staff. I always recommend it when I want to make a good impression on people I know. Highly recommended

17/09/2025: Recommended for those seeking an authentic place, with genuine, traditional food cooked with passion. My first visit was by chance, but next time it will be because I really want to. 11/09/2025: Lovely steakhouse in Ciampino Very nice place, friendly and informal service. The raw meats are excellent. The selection and variety of meats are exceptional. See you next time.

16/10/2025: A real insider tip if you're ever in Tivoli. The ambiance is quaint and very cozy, the staff friendly, and the food delicious. It's also absolutely great value for money. And be sure to check out the wine cellar.

15/10/2025: Amazing restaurant in a renovated roman bathhouse! The husband and wife team helping us was so hospitable and lovely! The food was delicious! Large portion sizes too! Lovely house wine 🍷

18/10/2025: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've been there several evenings for dinner and after-dinner drinks, and the food has always been excellent and the alcohol is top-notch at a good price. Definitely worth a try!

14/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place after touring the castle in Bracciano…it was perfect!!! The service was impeccable even though they were so so busy. The food and drink were amazing, and they just took really really good cars of us. I highly recommend the Negroni with mezcal…it was simply delicious and our server even wrote down the secret recipe for me(shhhh!). Can’t recommend this highly enough!!

02/10/2025: The price is okay, and it's filling, but an excellent pizza is something else entirely. Mine was quite pale and could have used more heat. The artichokes were still cold, and there was a lot of cheese on the pizza.

06/08/2025: This isn't my first time eating here. Last night, we were with friends and ordered everything from the menu, including the vegan options. The food was excellent, impeccably cooked. We were all satisfied, having a pleasant evening and eating excellently. The quality/price ratio was more than fair. Well done, guys.
