03/11/2025: 5 well-deserved stars! We had a hard time with Maps because we were passing through, but the menu, the location, and the kindness fully made up for it. We had a mixed appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, and everything was excellent! The tagliatelle (I don't remember the exact shape) with chestnuts and pesto were amazing. The amaretto cake, paired with wine, was also fabulous. It was evening, so it was a shame about the view; with that, everything would have been perfect. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: A quaint place with a good variety of dishes, excellent service, and moderate prices. I've tried almost everything in two weeks and can say the quality is consistently good. Honorable mentions for the tiramisu and the friendly service.

The lunch was excellent, with delicious dishes prepared with quality, locally sourced ingredients. The setting is elegant, welcoming, and well-kept, and the view is breathtaking. 02/11/2025: A well-kept location nestled in the countryside surrounding Tivoli. Wonderful free-range sheep and splendid ponies greeted us. Cows, donkeys, rabbits, and black pigs complete the scene. In short, a fully-fledged educational farm with children's facilities and games scattered throughout. The restaurant is large and spacious, with plenty of seating, and is decorated with farm relics. The cleanliness wasn't the best, with stained glasses and slightly dusty plates. Unfortunately, our welcome wasn't pleasant, as the dining room was unfortunately infested with bedbugs, which caused a bad mood and discomfort for the first half hour of our meal. According to the waiter, it's a plague for them these days. Good food with quality ingredients, carefully presented, and interesting flavors. The platter and tiella were excellent (although the name for the latter is misleading as it isn't a tiella). The chamomile cauliflower was less good, but the cream soup was interesting. The express lasagna was tasty and richly seasoned. The gobies were also good, but the ravioli, which arrived almost cold, were less impressive. To finish, we tried the tiramisu, which was too heavy with cream; the brioche with ice cream was very good; the panna cotta, however, wasn't to everyone's taste given the bold flavors. The biscuits served with the coffee were excellent. The price was slightly higher than expected, but the location was very interesting. Remember to try it outside of bedbug season.

06/11/2025: Simple place, informal and fast service. Thin round pizza (Roman-style), but overall good. A good spot for a quick snack or meal.

05/08/2025: I can't find any other words... sorry. Absolutely perfect in every way, exceptional fried food, very good crispy supplì. The pizza is special, absolutely worth trying, and the service is very attentive, very friendly staff.

05/11/2025: There was nothing to complain about the first and second courses: simple, home-made, and flavorful. The appetizer consisted of the usual industrial-strength cold cuts accompanied by a small square of pumpkin frittata. The side dishes were very basic, and the dessert was arranged in a very "rustic" setting with a very high level of noise. Yet, hard to believe, we paid a whopping 90 euros for two set menus (the only option of the day) consisting of two first courses (one lasagna with pumpkin cream and one chestnut gnocchi), a second course of pork loin with chestnuts, a "taste" of inalata and a few potatoes, and finally a small square of sponge cake with chestnut cream. We didn't even order wine or coffee, just water. Objectively, since we frequent more "reputable" restaurants in Rome, 90 euros at a trattoria in Carpineto seems like the right way to decide not to stop eating in Carpineto anymore and just visit it...

05/11/2025: This restaurant took me back in time. It felt like I was in one of those old trattorias from the 80s and 90s. We were a little hesitant to go in, but it was a truly pleasant surprise. The traditional Roman first courses were delicious, cooked in a slightly old-fashioned way, without carbocreme, etc. The meat was excellent, grilled. I was truly satisfied. I will definitely be back, especially since I'd like to try the pizza, which I was very attracted to by its appearance. In short, a truly excellent restaurant for those who like old-fashioned cuisine, not too elaborate but more substantial.

23/09/2025: Quiet place with friendly staff. Very good pizza, thin and large... lots of stuff. I definitely recommend it.

08/11/2025: Nice place, but the staff was beyond reproach. They were rude and slow, and every time they passed by my chair, they hit me and leaned on my chair and then my jacket without apology.

02/11/2025: Very nice restaurant, nice spaces and well managed. The prices are reasonable and the dishes are delicious, you can taste that the ingredients are top quality. Everything is really excellent, we will definitely be back.

25/10/2025: I returned after a while, and I have to say I remember having eaten better in the past. The sautéed mussels should have been simmered a couple of minutes longer, and the spaghetti with clams wasn't bad, but I remembered something more. Impeccable service and a pleasant atmosphere.
