I’m sitting right now at In Roma dal 1917, and I swear, this is the part where your soul leaves your body, floats up to heaven, tastes eternity, and then comes gently back to earth… just in time for the next bite. The carbonara here? It’s not just a dish. It’s a perfectly balanced symphony: the guanciale crispy and rich, the pecorino melting into creamy perfection without overpowering, the pasta al dente like a Roman poem, and that glossy sauce !!! The presentation is deceptively simple, but that’s where the magic lies: nothing unnecessary, everything intentional. Every bite feels like a love letter to tradition, executed with precision and soul. And the service? Absolutely impeccable. The staff doesn’t just serve; they honour the food. The chef himself (or a representative) came out to explain the dish, its origins, the technique — you don’t just eat here, you’re invited into a story, a ritual, a celebration. However, the tagliatelle with lamb sauce was good (you could taste the lamb), the gnocchi with broad bean sauce were also good. Portions more than fair. The special tiramisu

19/05/2025: Suggestive place, located immediately under the Caetani Castle. The owner is a very kind and courteous person with the customers. We were there on Sunday 18 May, we were immediately welcomed with the smile that is due not to guests but to friends. The table service was punctual and precise and the dishes halfway between tradition and innovation. They are also professional truffle hunters, so I highly recommend tasting the truffle-based dishes too.

18/05/2025: Ristorante a gestione familiare piedi del Castello di Sermoneta. Abbiamo provato diversi piatti, tutti straordinari, in particolare quelli con funghi e tartufi locali. Famiglia di tartufai, raccolgono principalmente per il ristorante, quando il prodotto è abbondante lo vendono anche in un negozio di prodotti tradizionali in centro storico. Tagliolini fatti in casa con porcini (raccolti in stagione e conservati sottovuoto) e tartufi, filetto con tartufi e porcini (carne pazzesca, tenerissima). Tutto indimenticabile!

15/05/2025: I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed! The fish carpaccio is excellent! Very fresh and so tasty! My wife and I had a great time. The grilled octopus was excellent. My wife had pasta vongole, cooked with finesse and great taste! The staff is so welcoming and pleasant! We had a great time!

06/05/2025: Decepcionado en la parrilla mixta. No hay mucha comida para el dinero. Me sirvieron solo 2 gambas, 2 piezas de pescado blanco, y 2 langostinos, piezas de calamar por 26 euros. No muy buena relación calidad-precio. Mi compañero pidió una cena de pescado blanco con Leon. La entrada era pequeña con poco sabor.

24/08/2024: The real value of this old style pub is the atmosphere. The owners have created a beautiful environment. Frequented by many different, interesting people. A point of reference, in my opinion, for people who love to break away from stereotypes. In particular, I recommend it to all the guys who want to sit down to talk freely without having to think about the judgment of the people next to them or perhaps to play a game of dungeon dragon.

26/04/2025: I went to this farmhouse with my family on Easter Sunday and my experience was partly negative. It can be defined as a nice restaurant, even if they should take care of the internal part. The gentleman in the room is very nice and approachable. However, when we were served we asked the girl what was inside the second course and she was not able to provide us with information (which in my opinion is absurd because a waitress should present a dish in all aspects). The quality of the food was not great, probably because it was a public holiday

03/05/2025: Consigliato da amici abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante al centro di Orvinio. Molto carina la sala in grotta, buono il servizio. Abbiamo apprezzato tutti i piatti dall'antipasto al dolce per la qualità delle materie usate. Lo consiglio per il buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

03/05/2025: Restaurant in the historic center of Orvinio, the cave room is very characteristic. The starters as well as the first and second courses were excellent, the service was good. Recommended for quality at the right price.

13/04/2025: Fisherman's risotto is white rice with the addition of fish. I would not eat fish dishes in this restaurant, most of them mediocre.

04/04/2025: It's just a great place. The fish first courses in particular are full of seasoning and the fish is always fresh. Even the salted sea bream is delicious every time I have it. The service is courteous and familiar. I come here often, I recommend it.
