11/03/2026: I've been to De Matti Franca's Trattoria Carlini, and I have to say it's one of those trattorias that makes you feel right at home. The place is simple, unpretentious, yet precisely because of this, it has a genuine atmosphere that's increasingly rare these days. The cuisine is typical of the area: dishes made the way they used to be, with authentic flavors. I tried the ravioli and fettuccine, and they were truly delicious; you could taste the pasta made with care. The meat is also worth it, well-cooked and flavorful. Don't miss the homemade desserts; the tiramisu and millefeuille are truly excellent. The portions are generous and the prices are fair, which is always a pleasure. The staff is friendly and approachable, and the service is simple yet cordial, as you'd expect from a true village trattoria. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, perhaps after a stroll in the area, for a good, casual meal. If you're looking for authentic cuisine and a family-friendly atmosphere, it's definitely worth a stop.

This is simply one of the best in the world! Stop whatever you're doing and try to get a table at Il Paggliacio (email them!). You're welcome btw

30/12/2025: I ordered 7 pizzas this evening... NEVER AGAIN!!! We called and were told they'd be ready at 8:45 PM Spoiler alert...they arrived an hour late. Terrible quality. The fries were bland and you could taste the bad oil, the rice balls were clearly from the morning and reheated, the pizza dough was bad, and my friend's boyfriend even felt ill. The only positive thing was the delivery guy, who was kind and polite. Avoid if you can.

14/12/2025: Honestly you have to try out the simple and delicious pizza marinara, one of the best i've ever eaten in Rome. Besides pizza you can eat chicken and potatoes and other delightful traditional food that will give you the real taste of Roman traditional food.

16/11/2025: Excellent service, great atmosphere... I'm not a fan of this type of pizza, but that doesn't mean I can't give it a great review... For those who love Neapolitan pizza, it's excellent, tasty, and beautiful, even in appearance... well-prepared, high-quality ingredients.

17/09/2025: I've been a customer here for 20 years. It's been great sometimes, and not so great sometimes. The food is very good and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the decor after the renovation, in my opinion, doesn't match the food served. I also suggest turning up the air conditioning as it was simply too hot.

08/09/2025: Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I hadn't been there for a year, and in the meantime, they'd been renovating the place. It turned out pretty well, too. But they forgot about the acoustics. It's indescribably noisy, and it's hard to stay quiet. Meanwhile, I have to say that the quality of the food has gone downhill. The dishes are too Westernized, with little spice and flavor. A bit disappointing.
