12/12/2024: Sono stata a cena da Grazia e Graziela con le mie amiche per festeggiare il mio compleanno. Siamo state molto bene, il locale e' caldo ed accogliente, il cibo e' ottimo e il servizio e' efficiente. Un grazie particolare a Vincenzo che ci ha accolte con tanta ortesia e cura rendendo così la serata molto piacevole.

12/12/2024: Sono stata più volte in questo ristorante e ogni volta ne esco soddisfatta. Oltre ai primi piatti ben fatti hanno diverse scelte tra cui: pinse, secondi insalate e molto altro. Per non parlare dei dolci che sono veramente buonissimi (consiglio la sbriciolata con la nutella e il loro meraviglioso tiramisù con il gentilino sopra😍). Il personale è molto cordiale, accogliente e disponibile. P.S l'ultima volta ho sorpreso i camerieri nel terminare la sbriciolata pulendo il bicchiere con l'aiuto del dito😂

23/12/2024: Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Waited 20 minutes before being able to order. Ordered Ascoli olives and fried mozzarella from the menu but only the olives arrived (5 olives €6.50). I asked for sparkling water but it arrived natural. “Carbonara” tasteless (not finished). Ordered a devil which arrived literally burnt (leave all the edges charred) and less tall than a piadina. We left hungry and disappointed by this disorganized “restaurant”. Absolutely not recommended!!!

20/12/2024: We were there yesterday for lunch... nice place, full of photos of famous people as restaurant customers, Roman cuisine (chicory, strips with artichokes and rocket and very good tripe), expert waiters. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Because I believe that kindness should be equally distributed: we noticed that at the next table with the coffee some dry pastries were offered. Nothing came to us with the coffee. We thought they were "special" customers so the gift was justified. Before leaving we noticed that this gift had also been brought to the tables, with coffee and/or limoncello. Getting lost for biscuits seemed bad for a long-established restaurant.

27/12/2024: Good evening, I wanted to share my experience with this restaurant on Christmas day, let's start with some starters that are scarce to say the least, then we move on to the fettuccine with pumpkin cream and bacon, and we say everything is normal, 2 first courses paccheri al COLD braised veal, then we move on to the dish that closes the lunch, the cut which was also frozen, not to mention the children's menu, charged 30 euros, arrived last, my mother who doesn't eat cheeses, he asks for pasta with tomato sauce, they hide the cheese underneath, he had to fill himself with mandarins, to finish off the Christmas desserts, served panettone which the slices resembled wafers, without serving sparkling wine, we hope to save ourselves with coffee too served without various bitters or anything else, all for the modest sum of 55 euros, last year everything was good, this year for nothing at all.

04/11/2024: The place is beautiful and the food is very good, the only shame was that the environment was cold and the heating was off.

11/12/2024: I won't comment on the pizza because I often get takeaway from them but after tonight you can be sure that I will never get it again. I will rather comment on the immense insolence, rudeness and lack of respect of the rude woman at the checkout who has always treated customers like fish. For years I have always let it go and pretended nothing happened as it was a discreet pizzeria near home and with friendly staff (everyone except her). But tonight she outdid herself...after placing the order she tells me in a very annoyed tone "YOU MUST RAISE YOUR VOICE SO YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING"....I repeat the order and politely tell her "I'm sorry but I have tonsillitis and I can't scream " and she, even more annoyed and not happy with the good impression she made earlier, counters with " EH IF YOU WANT ME TO MAKE YOU PLACE THE ORDER YOU MUST RAISE YOUR VOICE "...without answering badly I simply left disgusted by the fact that certain people are put to work in contact with customers even though many people have complained about their behavior for years, I'm certainly not the only one...but today was too much. Such completely gratuitous rudeness towards a customer who comes on a Wednesday evening with the place half empty makes absolutely no sense. Cleaning or leaving it at home would definitely be better.

06/01/2025: Wonderful place 🥰 I often go to Gaeta and every time I stop to eat in this super restaurant. This year we decided to celebrate New Year's Eve here at Follaro and I must say that on this occasion too I was positively surprised by the quality of the food and the dishes cooked in an excellent manner. I thank Davide, owner of the restaurant and all his collaborators for offering us these pleasant moments and for their availability and friendliness...😊
