07/09/2025: Disgusting. The first course was labeled "fisherman's tagliolini" but it was actually linguine with only mussels and lupini beans (not fresh!!! but already stale). Shame on you!! 16 euros stolen and a fried calamari and shrimp (17 euros) where underneath there was just salad to make it look bigger. Be more honest. At least about the quality.

18/11/2025: Venue: Very beautiful, well-maintained, with various rooms offering a perfectly elegant atmosphere. Food: We had a wonderful dinner; the quality of the food is unquestionable. The wine was also excellent. Service: We were looked after by Isham (I hope that's how you spell it!), a delightful, distinguished, precise, and sociable man. He was very attentive to our every request. We spent time chatting with him, and it was very pleasant. Compliments to the managers of Modo; we'll be back!

06/11/2025: What a breath of fresh air this place is. Traditional Italian restaurant serving traditional food prepared by locals. We had some food disbalance from our lunch at another place so we only went for seasoned olives 🫒 and mixed salad along with fried vrittas. We weren't disappointed thought. The taste was top quality. The waiters were very friendly and entertaining and I wish we can speak Italian for even better communication. Traditionally decorated with lot's of space between tables so you don't feel like in a tin of anchovies. Well done 👏

05/11/2025: Without a doubt, the best restaurant in all of Rome. I've eaten there twice and the food was absolutely top-notch. I ordered generous appetizers, and they were truly filling. Excellent value. If you're Argentinian, order the Fernet; it's as delicious as the one in Córdoba. If I ever return to Rome, this will definitely be the first restaurant I go to.

I have visited Rome several times, and this place has become my absolute favourite, a true home away from home. The quality of the food is simply phenomenal. Everything is prepared with evident passion and the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend trying the Pizza Margherita—it was the best I’ve ever had, perfectly executed and full of flavour. Their pasta is always perfectly al dente, and the wine selection is excellent. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the incredible atmosphere and the genuinely warm service. The staff treat every guest like family. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and create a cozy, welcoming environment. A personal highlight for me is that we are always offered their fantastic, complimentary Lemon Sorbet (Sorbetto al Limone) at the end of the meal. It’s the perfect, refreshing conclusion to a beautiful dinner and a wonderful example of their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. This is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the true taste and heart of Rome. Highest recommendation! We will definitely be back again and again.

08/12/2025: The coffees and pastries were very good, although they got the coffees mixed up and gave us a cornetto that wasn't the flavor we ordered, but everything was still quite tasty and the place was very nice inside.

07/12/2025: Materia is a very well-kept restaurant with a welcoming, Nordic style. It's centrally located in the San Giovanni area, at Via Andrea Provana 7. Excellent value for money. They offer excellent breakfasts, aperitifs, and dinner. They also have lovely desserts for afternoon tea. I've been there several times and have always had a great experience. The food is delicious, but not only that. In short, if you're curious, you have to try it at least once. The staff is young, welcoming, and passionate. I'll definitely be back.

09/11/2025: Pizza served on two generously sized plates, with good dough and quality ingredients (it was my first time trying nettle pizza, and I have to say it didn't disappoint). The fried foods were also very good, especially the various types of supplì. Friendly staff, good value.

15/11/2025: The restaurant was in our neighborhood, and we decided to give it a try despite the criticism of the staff. Unfortunately, we didn't feel welcome and were rather rushed through. They didn't ask us anything, didn't inform us about the daily specials, or suggest a suitable wine. I had the tortellini with burrata and the saltimboca. The plates arrived very quickly. The food tasted good but was cold, presumably reheated. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
