Great menu with traditional Roman highlights and modern innovation. Amazing warm service and wine recommendation from Valerio. Super polite and Easy to approach staff. We really liked the tuna tartare, the Roman artichoke and the pasta con sarde.

Fantastic restaurant offering excellent revisited Roman cuisine

Unfortunately, a disappointment. I had high expectations, I booked a table for one last dinner in Rome at the supposedly "best restaurant," and the main courses were disappointing. The appetizers (cheeses and artichokes) were really very good, the service was attentive, and the wine list is extensive with a thousand options. However, if you're going for dinner, I strongly DO NOT recommend it (there are other wine tasting experiences and tasting menus that may be better). The main courses were bland (I ordered the pasta with pesto and the fish of the day), none of the five who dined there really liked them, and to make matters worse, the carbonara was cold and, even after being sent back to the kitchen to be reheated, it still wasn't hot. At least, to compensate, we were offered a complimentary dessert.

The food was incredible. Some of the best pasta we’ve eaten on our trip around Italy. The wine was delicious and they let us try quite a few before landing on the winner. It was very generous. The only downside was the frenetic energy of the service as if they were extremely busy so there was a lot of bouncing around to tables and not really stopping to listen to us. Not sure why that was because when we arrived it wasn’t even packed yet.
