02/06/2026: Make sure to get grandmas meatballs and the fried spaghetti appetizer. Wish we would have gotten the all meat pizza. But the staff is amazing. We will absolutely make this trek again. Fantastic food and staff.

05/05/2026: Family-run seafood restaurant by the sea. Unfortunately, there was no more outdoor seating, but we had a great time inside too. The fish was fresh, and for what we ate, it was well-cooked. We'll be back to try out what it's like to eat outside 😁

09/06/2026: For me, food comes first, then comes the service, and then the setting. Needless to say, the place is historic in Ostia, and I have to say, very nice. Of the fish appetizers, I only liked the soute and the fried anchovies. The spaghetti with clams was swimming in oil, but ultimately decent and I must say plentiful. The potato-crusted sea bream was delicious. The service was very, very friendly, especially from the waiter Emanuele, who also recommended a good wine.

18/04/2026: We went there on the fly on the recommendation of a friend. The place is beautiful and quiet, the food was excellent (good doesn't do it justice), the staff was friendly and helpful, and of course, the price was right. Highly recommended. We'll be back soon!

11/05/2026: Great atmosphere and food! The only thing that bothered me was that a lady, probably a member of the family, had two mastiffs in the garden—one on a leash and one off—so when she saw the children, she ran after them. Really scary.

23/05/2026: We came from a cruise ship port and based on all the snafus getting the train into Rome we weren't sure what to expect. We found this gem on the non tourist exit of the main train station. There is a bakery, deli, and wine shop on one side and a restaurant on the other. Seems family owned. Owners were so kind and sweet they recognized my boyfriend had Roman heritage and gave him double the amount of cookies and pastries he asked for. Then the most wonderful server took care of us before a big thunderstorm. They let me use the washroom even though they already cleaned and prepared for their dinner rush rest. The food was incredible. All the pizza was terrific but the meatballs, porcini mushroom pizza, and zucchini flowers sang off our plates after eating so much cruise food. Just what the doctor ordered. You can tell it has good food based on the number of bank workers going to lunch here. Eat here! Strong limoncello spritzers. They cooled the temperature for us perfectly on everything too so no burnt mouths. Looking forward to returning

21/05/2026: Waiter was horribly rude, decent food though. I was on a ‘food crawl’ and was ordering small things and big drinks from loads of different places, but the waiter here clearly got annoyed that I was only ordering 2 starters, and he was rude the rest of the seating.

10/01/2026: I can't understand why there aren't any warmers outside, but especially when they asked me if I wanted pistachios to go with my wine, as if they were normal appetizers (and in fact the portion size spoke for itself), I wasn't told I'd have to pay for them, even 4 euros. I've never seen a place do this; it's not about the 4 euros, obviously, but the fact that they asked me as if I wanted something to nibble on, not as something we ordered, but as a side. I repeat, 4 euros for a half portion.

31/07/2025: I'm not reviewing the rooms because we didn't use them, but if I have to talk about the location, the hospitality, the food, I can only give 5 stars.... on a trip from Reggio Calabria to Turin we decided to break up the kilometers and stop halfway.... I didn't know this part of Italy, Sabina, and I have to say that it is truly spectacular.... definitely worth exploring further!!!

06/06/2026: We had lunch on June 2nd and were able to eat outside with a lake view, which I think really makes a difference 😊 We had the mini saltimbocca and the coccetto with chicory and scamorza, which I loved. Then came the ravioli filled with sausage and crescenza cheese, which were delicious and a good portion, a half liter of house red wine, and to finish, chocolate cheesecake and crostata. Fast, friendly, and courteous service, and the price was fair for what we ordered and the location. I recommend booking, especially if you want to sit outside with a lake view.
