23/10/2025: While exploring Rome and trying to find a local spot away from the tourist crowds, a friend in the restaurant industry took us to this little gem close to the American Embassy and what a find. I had the lobster pasta, easily one of the best I have ever had, paired with an excellent wine selection. My wife, who is vegetarian, found great options, and our teenage kids loved their seafood pasta and a large Italian-style prawn dish, though I forgot the name. The cozy indoor and outdoor setting, with a classic Italian atmosphere, felt tucked away and like a true hidden treasure. Next time we are in Rome, this will definitely be our go-to spot. It is a must visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine away from the tourist crowds.

04/12/2025: We were drawn to the charming location, a heated room with a fireplace and a beautiful view. Even the Christmas decorations were impressive. Unfortunately, the waiter's service didn't reflect the atmosphere, as we felt patronized. I found two hairs on two different plates, and my boyfriend found a spider in the bread basket. I also noticed dust on my plate as soon as we sat down, a sign of general disrepair. The home cooking was good, but heavy, with lots of oil, garlic, and butter. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms wasn't easy to digest. The housekeeper was kind and friendly.

10/12/2025: Today I discovered this beautiful place where I stopped for lunch with my family and was pleasantly surprised and amazed by the quality of every single dish. We ate fresh fish cooked in full view, not to mention the fresh pasta handmade by the chef and the desserts, always made on site daily. In addition to the spectacular food, the owners were also very pleasant to be around, very welcoming and warm, as if we were at home. They are truly helpful and genuine people. I recommend it both for a quick lunch and for an event if you want to make a good impression. Their open kitchen is synonymous with transparency and quality. Thanks again for everything, I will gladly return even if I am not from the area.

09/11/2025: I had dinner here with my wife on Saturday. We found a little gem in the city. The restaurant has three very welcoming rooms, and the warm, rustic decor immediately put us at ease. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the owner, Gianluca, was friendly and kind. I recommend everyone try the dishes here.

20/10/2025: We discovered this piadina shop on Google, with a photo and an inviting (but deceptive) appearance. We went in and the person at the counter (a brunette with a bob) didn't even answer us despite our greeting with that look on her face that said, "Now they've come to interrupt my busy schedule (cell phone)"). We ordered, and I asked for the meat to be cooked medium rare, and she said no, "normal," as if she'd decided what I was supposed to eat. She rushed through our order and didn't even give us time to choose drinks, and she was already rushing us, so we told her and paid. The piadina with strips of meat, tomato, and salad was tasteless and tasteless. I asked for salt and she told me they don't have single-serving salt, so I passed her back the piadina I'd already eaten, but the situation didn't change. Never again! Rudeness and poor food quality never pay!

16/11/2025: I went to this pastry shop on Saturday evening. I had a pangocciolo (a kind of pizza), which I must say was very good, and two small red pizzas. The pizzas were burnt; the back was black, dry, and just two squares. I had to throw them away. The service was nothing special. I asked what I could put in the pangocciolo, and they didn't answer verbally, but they showed me a poster that wasn't even very clear, with all the fillings. If you order the pizzas, check carefully and ask for them to be not burned.

The atmosphere was elegant, but too many details were out of place for a place with these prices. The space was very cramped. The food was okay. The Valpolicella Ripasso was excellent. I won't be returning.

12/11/2025: What a gem! We couldn’t have been luckier to end up in this neighbourhood. Be aware that it’s very Italian. Menu. Waiter. And of course food. And all of the aforementioned is exactly why we are so happy. The food is really delicious. The service so friendly, welcoming and professional.
