03/01/2025: My partner and I were in Gaeta and we chose this small restaurant on the seafront because we needed tranquility. We were welcomed by the owner, a very discreet and kind Rocco Papaleo type. We ate very well, starting with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses described in their origin and nature by the owner very accurately. I still have in mind the goodness of organic goat cheese, black pork salami from Caserta, delicious local olives and special ham. We then had two tielle with escarole, olives and cod, it was a pleasure I would have eaten until I fainted. Followed by a portion of black beans with pork and another with escarole and cannellini beans, all accompanied by excellent bread and an excellent wine clearly recommended. It is a family run kitchen where the owner's daughter is in the kitchen. It's one of the few times that I take the flavors of food away with me in my mind. It is a place among my favorites where I will definitely return.

26/08/2024: Bel locale curato, attenti nella ricerca della materia prima cucinata con cura. Ottimi gli spaghetti alla puttanesca! Anche le tielle e i crostini molto gustosi.

30/03/2025: Stop in time. Typical rustic place with the charm of times gone by. We went for lunch on the recommendation of a local acquaintance and had a great time. Food like it used to be homemade by hand. Abundant and very delicious appetizers, first courses truly done properly. Chicken with peppers and lamb worthy of being called that. Gloriana (called Mafalda by everyone) very humble and helpful. Thanks to the daughters SUPER CHEFS IN THE KITCHEN. I count in the norm.

16/03/2025: Arrived here trusting the excellent reviews. Let's start with the place which is rustic and very nice. The lady who came to take the order (I don't know if she is the owner) offered us the different dishes without giving us a menu. There were three of us and we had a very good starter of cured meats and cheeses and grilled aubergine peppers. One of us had the fettuccine with mushrooms which was very good. The other person and I took lamb and artichokes which were supposed to be judía style but we got normal artichokes boiled and very salty, a brine. The lamb is not very tasty. A bottle of water and 2 latina cokes. Result €90

02/02/2025: Restaurant with typical traditional dishes, the service is fast and the dishes are plentiful, shame about the pasta being a little overcooked, the rest is very much worth it!

19/01/2025: Imbiss is an informal place where you feel at home thanks to the excellent food and the great warmth of those who work there. Whether it's for a quick lunch or a dinner with friends, here is the ideal place to eat fantastic Roman dishes and also fish-based dishes. I particularly recommend the gnocchi with truffle carbonara and the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. Pets allowed (we always bring our dog) and easy parking. Fantastic value for money!

23/02/2025: Location bellissima, panorama sul lago da buona parte della sala, quasi tutti i tavoli sono “fortunati”. Cibo molto buono, delicato, fritto non troppo intriso di olio e cozze freschissime. Servizio un po’ a desiderare, insistenti nel prendere rapidamente l’ordinazione e poi si perdono. Capisco la sala piena ma tra primo e secondo è passato parecchio tempo. Pessimo quello che credo fosse il proprietario con la sigaretta accesa alla casa, all’interno del locale, mentre volevamo pagare….

31/03/2025: Siamo stati con amici in questa splendida struttura, eravamo 28 persone tra adulti e bambini, che dire, siamo stati divinamente, abbiamola mangiato veramente bene, dai primi sino al dolce. Pietanze cucinate a mestiere, con ingredienti km 0 e cameriere sempre con il sorriso. Altra cosa veramente gradita e’ il grande spazio verde che è presente fuori il corpo centrale, noi adulto mentre mangiavamo tranquillamente, i bambini sono stati praticamente sempre sul prato a giocare. Agriturismo “La Tarantola”, voto 10, promosso a pieni voti!

23/03/2025: I didn't find it 5 stars. Food normal like at home, carbonara a little over cooked although good, it looked like egg pasta, prices slightly higher compared to the quality of the food.

15/02/2025: Grazie ai tre cestini di pane siamo riusciti a mangiare qualcosa perché se fosse stato per le portate ce ne saremmo andati con la fame…. Abbiamo apprezzato gli antipastini molto sfiziosi ma miseri… il carciofo molto buono… ma per il resto un primo e un secondo inesistenti e con poco sapore , deludenti… buono il dolce e peccato per i biscottini di pasticceria che non siamo riusciti ad assaggiare perché erano per tre persone ma noi eravamo in sei… Il tutto pagando un conto da ristorante di lusso….. Mi dispiace ma oltre alla bella presentazione il cliente vorrebbe anche un piatto decente da degustare … Davvero peccato perché la location davvero meriterebbe dei piatti molto molto più ben fatti. Questa è la mia opinione.
