We were in search of a small enoteca for a glass of wine after a long day of travel and an afternoon tour and this place near the Trevi Fountain area was a great find. We had a glass of greco bianco from Calabria and a small plate of meats and cheeses. The wine was very good and so were the meats; and it came with very friendly service; I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy spot away from the chaos.

Porchetta rolls were so tasty and filling. With tuna sauce and sun-dried tomatoes, yum. Nice little spot away from the crowds to sit, relax and watch. Lorenzo the host was extremely polite and helpful. Nice old family photos of his family inside too.

Lo Scarabocchio

22/03/2024: A restaurant in Northern Rome, where you can meet with family or friends and eat well. All in all, a comfortable room, if it weren't for the cold light lamps, which are blinding and really annoying and whether you like it or not you almost always end up in front of it. Very nice garden with veranda. Excellent quality-price relation. The fish-based menu for 30 euros is surprising. Meat menu at 25.00. Drinks not included. I give three stars for the lamps.
17/03/2024: Discovered by chance, Lo SCARABOCCHIO is almost invisible but once inside you are greeted by a large and peaceful garden that instantly makes you forget the comings and goings of Via Giustiniana. The staff is very welcoming, thoughtful and efficient even in managing any changes to orders. The menu is very varied whether you choose the fixed menu or the à la carte one and the main dishes are plentiful and well packaged. Very tasty and balanced in flavours. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended.

22/03/2024: Nice owner and always available to satisfy everyone's requests. Staying in a nearby hotel, we had breakfast here for 2 days in a row: good products, but what really makes the difference is the owner, who livens up the breakfast with jokes and a lot of friendliness. Recommended for those who want to have a breakfast or want a drink just a stone's throw from Castel Sant'Angelo without stress, but with a lot of friendliness as a side dish.
