20/04/2026: We had an amazing dinner, Miguel and Dario made us feel right at home. The cacio e Pepe, pizza and drinks were delicious and they gave us complimentary melonchello. Could not recommend this place more!

25/04/2026: I live in the area... I've been going to the osteria regularly for 15 years... with satisfaction... The change of management has brought the same prices with smaller selections and portions... we were there last night (April 24, 2026) and came home super hungry... a real shame because the place is pleasant... I'll give you an example... before the new management... I could order a charcuterie board that included... local cured meats, cheeses, and bruschetta... now it's three separate dishes... Was it too much before and too little now? I don't know... but these things are short-lived and create image... we'll be back to buy the wine, which is always good and locally sourced.

20/04/2026: We decided to have a tasting menu with a tour of the winery. We booked online for 12:30, arrived at that time, and while other customers who arrived after us were seated, we remained waiting. After 40 minutes, we asked the staff and they seated us. The service was confusing, but the food was good. The tasting menu included bruschetta, which they only brought after our request, not to mention the side dish (which was listed on the reservation) that never arrived. Before starting the meal, they didn't even explain what we were getting. The location is very beautiful, but unfortunately the service could be greatly improved. Furthermore, during the wine tasting, they served us a bubbly to start that had clearly been open for a while. I don't recommend it.

12/04/2026: MAGA in Ostia is a little gem for seafood lovers. A welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. The fish is incredibly fresh and carefully prepared, everything is beyond delicious... An authentic and refined experience, definitely worth repeating.

The two brothers are exceptional: kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate; the rest of the young staff is friendly and smiling. Excellent dishes with fantastic flavor combinations. 09/11/2025: A fantastic experience. This small but cozy restaurant offers excellent traditional Roman dishes. The owner is exceptional, and the service is impeccable, with polite and professional waiters. The dishes are generous and reasonably priced. We ate a bit of everything, including the fantastic carbonara and rigatoni alla pajata, a specialty. Homemade desserts, and a truly excellent tiramisu! I highly recommend it.

24/04/2026: A refined restaurant in Anguillara Sabazia, just steps from the port, with a veranda overlooking Lake Bracciano. I recommend starting the meal with an excellent glass of Prosecco from the Sutto winery, served at the perfect temperature, accompanied by their fantastic, fragrant bread, made exclusively for them and served fresh from the oven. Follow with the Benedetto Cavalieri spaghetti with clams and perfectly creamed bottarga! The sea bass fillet in "acqua pazza" (crazy water) and the Roman-style artichoke, with that perfect hint of mint, overlooked by many lazy and superficial restaurateurs, are also unforgettable. The owner, Mr. Diego, has created an excellent wine list, always ready to suggest the perfect pairing for your food. Lastly, a special mention goes to the highly knowledgeable waiters, always polite and attentive, but not intrusive!

29/03/2026: An excellent Frascati winery. The welcome and service were impeccable. The two ever-smiling waitresses led us through a lunch where every course was delicious. Every now and then, the owner would stop by and ask us how things were going with grace and cheerfulness. Definitely worth a try!

28/03/2026: This trattoria in Frascati was recommended to us. I ate a proper pork shank: large, juicy, and cooked with the patience only true chefs know. The meat falls off the bone like butter, and every bite is a caress to the heart. Highly recommended!!!

Every time we discover something new that catches our eye, the staff is another strong point: always friendly and efficient, as well as knowledgeable about the vast selection on offer (currently unique in Ostia). Finally, the background music, never excessively loud, is elegant and perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere of the place. If you're passing through Ostia, whether winter, summer, or spring, and you're unfamiliar with it, you can't miss a visit here.
