Osteria dell’elefante In Fiumicino

I live in the area... I've been going to the osteria regularly for 15 years... with satisfaction... The change of management has brought the same prices with smaller selections and portions... we were there last night (April 24, 2026) and came home super hungry... a real shame because the place is pleasant... I'll give you an example... before the new management... I could order a charcuterie board that included... local cured meats, cheeses, and bruschetta... now it's three separate dishes... Was it too much before and too little now? I don't know... but these things are short-lived and create image... we'll be back to buy the wine, which is always good and locally sourced.

A restaurant with a few well-prepared dishes, using seasonal ingredients. An excellent selection of their own wines. A beautiful location beneath a historic castle with wonderful cellars.

The first thing that strikes you is the beauty of the place: a meticulously crafted blend of rustic and elegant, where stone and wood blend with the surrounding greenery. You eat well, you drink even better, and you reclaim your time in an enchanting setting. ​Highly recommended for: A romantic dinner, a rejuvenating Sunday lunch, or for anyone who wants to rediscover the authentic flavors of Lazio. ​We'll definitely be back!

We booked an experience that included a cooking class, a tour of the winery, and lunch with a tasting of four of their wines. I wasn't familiar with this place, and what can I say... everything was perfect!! Elegant atmosphere, impeccable service, and quality food and wine.

It had been on my restaurant list for a while, and I was truly impressed by Osteria dell'Elefante: the location is beautiful, well-kept, and has a truly pleasant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. Even though we were with our dog, there were absolutely no problems! I also really appreciated the selection of local wines, well-thought out and perfect to pair with the dishes. The cuisine truly deserves praise: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and dishes prepared with great care. A place I would gladly return to!

Everything was as expected, indeed, beyond expectations. A unique location, attentive and discreet service. Quality ingredients and dishes that make you appreciate the choice you made. The wine from their cellar is definitely worth trying. We'll be back.

The location is beautiful, as is the service and courtesy. I would add a few more dishes to the menu for a wider selection. The locally produced wine is excellent.
