06/05/2026: I went by last night, it's unbelievable how they can rip off a tourist. The owners must be millionaires with the absurd prices they charge just for being a tourist—19 euros for a dessert! And don't even get me started on their attitude.

10/05/2026: Now a popular spot, from a regular stop to a relaxing break during a stroll, this place is meticulously curated, down to the smallest details and constantly evolving decor, specially designed by the owner. Every time we discover something new that catches our eye, the staff is another strong point: always friendly and efficient, as well as knowledgeable about the vast selection on offer (currently unique in Ostia). Finally, the background music, never excessively loud, is elegant and perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere of the place. If you're passing through Ostia, whether winter, summer, or spring, and you're unfamiliar with it, you can't miss a visit here.

19/04/2026: We started with a truly noteworthy first course: Pici all'amatriciana with pecorino cheese. The pasta had just the right texture and the sauce was rich and flavorful, with the local pecorino cheese adding that extra touch of character. But the real surprise was the dessert: chestnuts boiled in rum and cream. A perfect tribute to the fruits of the Cimini Mountains; the natural sweetness of the chestnuts paired divinely with the strong note of the rum and the softness of the fresh cream. A balanced and unpredictable combination. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, making the lunch even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. If you pass through Caprarola, this is a must-see gastronomic stop!

27/02/2026: Better than the castles! Discovered completely by chance, this place turned out to be an excellent choice. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, characterized by the typical convivial atmosphere of an osteria. Added to this is the fast and efficient service, managed by a staff renowned for their extreme courtesy and helpfulness. The culinary offering is broad and well-structured: alongside many classic Roman dishes, the menu features some interesting reinterpretations and exclusive dishes from the chef, capable of enriching the experience.

However, I highly recommend booking in advance, as it's almost always fully booked—and for good reason! The service is truly excellent and genuine, complemented by a varied menu featuring exceptional, flavorful traditional dishes. The portions are generous, and the quality of the food is exceptional, all at a very reasonable price, highly competitive compared to the local average. It's the perfect place to spend a wonderful day, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Special praise goes to the owner, a very kind and friendly woman who will make you feel right at home with her warm welcome. I highly recommend it to everyone, not only because you eat truly well, savoring traditional local dishes, but also because, after this fantastic meal, you'll have the opportunity to work off the energy and relax with a beautiful walk to admire the stunning lakeside scenery.

17/04/2026: It's a very traditional place with the classic red and white checkered paper placemats. A place where you feel like you're being welcomed into an aunt's house: familiar, informal, kind, and attentive. Yes, attentive because they accommodate requests beyond simple professional courtesy. The food is amazing and the price is incredible.

25/04/2026: The restaurant is very pretty inside, simple yet charming. I had the trippa fritta which was sublime: well seasoned and perfect amount of breading, followed by the amatriciana which also was amazing. Service was very friendly and reactive.

It's a shame about the parking problem... but once you do... welcome to Salento!!!!! A must-try thanks to the ever-evolving and changing menu... Mario, I'm waiting for the rice, mussels, and potatoes!!!!!

I say this wholeheartedly, because it engages both taste and senses. 12/03/2026: Went for lunch during the work week and ordered fish with potatoes and salad. The dish I received wasn’t what I expected and I didn’t enjoy it. When I asked the waitress for help, the response wasn’t very supportive and I was essentially told the issue was on my side. Bad experience.

15/01/2026: Spectacular location, with a breathtaking view of Piediluco. The pizzas and other dishes are excellent. The staff are extremely friendly; we've always been served with a warm and friendly welcome. Highly recommended.
