30/03/2026: We spent a day with friends in Ariccia. We booked ahead at this frachetta, and the owner was incredibly helpful and kind. What can I say? A fantastic experience, top-notch food, and enormous portions. I jokingly said I'd write a negative review because "there's too much food." Highly recommended. Excellent food, superb appetizers, and out-of-this-world first courses. We won't change places again.

29/03/2026: Super-abundant dishes of incredible flavor, you can really taste the quality and the traditional cuisine. The service was impeccable: fast, friendly, and always available. The atmosphere is typically homey, welcoming, and authentic, making you feel instantly at home. The folk song singers liven up the experience, and the staff are super friendly and always willing to provide information. Highly recommended!

This time, I only had two macarons, which were very good.

02/05/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant today. What can I say? The food is good. The only downside is that the bathroom wasn't very clean and there was no soap. When I told them there wasn't even a drop of soap left in the bathroom, they told me they'd get it right away, but an hour later, there was still no soap... restrooms are also important in a restaurant.

We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was exceptional: tender, flavorful osso buco, rich fettuccine al ragù, perfectly baked cannelloni, a beautifully cooked pork dish, and fresh, light pasta with shrimp and zucchini. Each plate was prepared with incredible care, authentic ingredients, and that unmistakable homemade Italian taste you hope to find but rarely do. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with classic Italian charm, and the staff made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked in. This is not just a restaurant — it’s a place where you truly experience traditional Italian cuisine at its best. If you are in Rome and want a real, unforgettable meal, Ristorante Abruzzi is a must. 🇮🇹🍝🍷

04/05/2026: I stayed and dined at Benito al Bosco, and the experience was truly delightful. The property, nestled in the woods, has an '80s style but is well-maintained and perfectly in keeping with the natural surroundings. To reach it, you travel along narrow roads, which can make crossings with other vehicles a bit tricky, but this is a characteristic of the area, not the property itself, and it also contributes to the place's charm. The entrance is very charming, decorated with numerous photos of famous people (politicians, singers, footballers, actors), which tell the story of the place. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with clean bathrooms equipped with everything you need. The property has ample parking, with the option, if available, of using some spaces right in front of the entrance. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise: the menu isn't overly extensive but is well-thought out, with both meat and fish options. We tried both options, and the quality was excellent. The capriccio di mare and the pacchero storico were particularly delicious. We also appreciated the variety of breads available. The service was fast, attentive, and above all very friendly. There's also a swimming pool and the option to eat both inside and outside, depending on the season. A truly pleasant stay, made even better by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Breakfast wasn't huge, especially on the savory side, but it was still good quality: the crostata and Sacher torte were very good.

The menu isn't overwhelming, allowing guests to choose from a variety of options, all intriguing and never predictable. Service is provided by expert staff who pleasantly guide guests through the menu! We ate fish, and it was all delicious! A well-known and highly regarded restaurant that maintains its reputation.

08/03/2026: For years, once or twice a year, my friends and I have treated ourselves to Pompeo's Osteria Borgo Incantato. It's a regular event we wouldn't miss for anything in the world. With just 25-30 seats, the atmosphere is intimate and meticulously curated: a homey atmosphere enhanced by refined table linens, a perfect blend of elegance and warmth. ​Each time, we're amazed by the dishes created with excellent ingredients, often local, but always of the finest quality. Pompeo's work is exceptional: he puts care, love, and a contagious charm into it. Honorable mention goes to the wine, always top-notch (after all, the "Cinese del Piglio" is a guarantee of absolute quality). ​It's a unique place where you can experience the convivial atmosphere of an osteria, but dine with the sophistication of a Michelin-starred restaurant... all at trattoria prices. The journey here is amply rewarded by a culinary experience that's different every time. A true gem.
