18/12/2025: A quaint and welcoming restaurant in the village of Maranola, perfect for enjoying Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and well-prepared dishes. Generous appetizers, quality first and second courses with traditional flavors. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rustic atmosphere is truly special, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited!

15/12/2025: I’m glad the search for lunch brought us up. The setting is beautiful. Just remember not to follow GPS the last 3 min up the steep and narrow slope but continue on the road with a left turn to public parking. The restaurant was very welcoming and super attentive in their service. We ordered the steak, pork chop and fettuccine with porcini, side vegetables with house red. Portions were generous and we liked best the side dish of mushroom/pumpkin/celeraic which was served cold. The steak was very well prepared as was the perfectly al dente fettucine. Pork chop could have been more moist with more Wish we had got a proper bottle instead of house as it seemed to have not been properly stored. But for the price of 5 euros one really cannot complain! Otherwise a very excellent meal. Wish we had more stomach for dessert as we wanted to try the house made tiramisu and cheesecake. Thank you for a good memory Osteria Castello 43!

19/02/2026: On a Sunday lunch, the crowded and noisy atmosphere prevented us from fully enjoying the pleasures of the table. Some dishes certainly deserve to be savored with due caution.

07/02/2026: I had only heard about Simone, his staff, and the deliciousness of the dishes. Being there confirmed everything I'd been told. The friendly, young, and welcoming staff make you feel like family. The dishes are simply delicious, the appetizers plentiful and rich. The homemade lasagna is simply divine. Guys, I hope to return soon.

17/03/2026: Soyar was our server, everything was delicious. Do not recommend if you are in a rush but definitely delicious and a great atmosphere to get off your feet for awhile and enjoy the food and the view.

21/03/2026: While it is mostly for takeaway I think we went there twice in 6 days. Once just 2 of us and once with my Italian +1. They treat you really nice and the food is perfect.

21/03/2026: Honestly the best pizza we’ve ever had (and we’ve had quite a few). Perfect in every aspect, tasty and delicious and amazing crust. Quite cheap as well! Also the restaurant has such a warm atmosphere and being welcomed there by the staff feels like being with family: very warm and inviting. Already came back a few times and it’s a favourite! A lovely experience.

21/03/2026: Everything was truly excellent! We ate wonderfully, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the waitress was very kind and knowledgeable! The fried artichokes were delicious, as were the polenta with porcini mushrooms and chicory meatballs (a surprise!), and then the pappardelle with wild boar... what can I say, I'd gladly return.

16/03/2026: The risotto was delicious, and the tiramisu had a completely different texture from what I've had in Taiwan—it was very smooth and flavorful. If I ever come to Italy again, I'll definitely visit again.

02/03/2026: The place is very small and basic, but that's where the flaws end. Excellent traditional Lazio food, very well cooked and made with quality ingredients. The appetizers are varied, including cold cuts, cheeses, tripe, liver, and chickpeas. The half-portion is generous. They also bring two tastings with the half-portion. I had ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato sauce. To finish, homemade baked goods. Everything was excellent, and I'll definitely return. Kudos to Rosy, but also to the village of Capranica, which is worth a visit.

05/12/2025: Fantastic pasta! Everything on the menu looks so yummy 🤤Each dish is freshly cooked right in front of you. Today I had Carbonara and it was absolutely delicious; the spaghetti was al dente and the guanciale was crispy and salty which went very well with the creamy sauce. I only have 3 days in Rome this trip and tomorrow I will go back to try Amatriciana. The atmosphere is fast-paced as it’s busy and there are many takeaway orders. It’s a place to eat and leave, not a place to hang out. The service could be better.
