18/08/2025: Delicious pasta for €10-12 per portion, and the carbonara is especially recommended. During peak season, around lunchtime, you might have to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but the waiter offers snacks and champagne to those waiting. The service is very friendly.

05/07/2025: We chose this place during our visit to Rome based on the good reviews on Google. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment — we waited 20 minutes for two dry sandwiches that weren’t even properly toasted. The price-to-quality ratio is not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

22/08/2025: I had my son's baptism lunch at this fantastic venue. The location is beautiful and well-maintained, with ample parking available for guests. We had a wonderful time and were incredibly happy with how we were treated and how the food was served. We also received many compliments from relatives who were guests at the baptism, who were happy with their food. Francesco, Noemi, and all their staff, from the chef to the waiters, were super professional and always ready to meet our needs during the event. Thank you so much. 17/08/2025: Rione XIV Bistro is a very small restaurant located next to the Vatican, with limited seating for about 18 people. Due to its size, reservations are not possible, and it's recommended to arrive as soon as the restaurant opens or go every hour, as this is the average time it takes to eat there. Despite its size, the place is very cozy and the service is very friendly. The waiters are efficient and move fairly quickly, which helps maintain a pleasant pace. The menu offers a variety of typical Italian dishes, all of them quite elaborate. We opted to try a dish that was the daily suggestion, pasta with zucchini and pistachio, which was very good. We also ordered another pasta with mushrooms and truffle, which was also a success. Although these aren't the best pasta dishes in Rome, they are tasty and different, which gives them a special touch. What we did love was the tiramisu, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, we think Rione XIV Bistro is one of the best options near the Vatican, offering good value. The service, food, and atmosphere make it a highly recommended place to visit.

03/08/2025: Away from the crowds, in a charming nook surrounded by greenery, we had the opportunity to relax for a couple of hours. A very quiet spot, where we ate: two stuffed focaccias, a sandwich with salmon, guacamole, and cream cheese, a small sandwich with grilled vegetables, a homemade tart with sour cherry jam for dessert, and two coffees. The menu is extensive, offering first courses, salads, second courses, and much more. It's also an ideal place for an aperitif or a simple coffee. We had a great time; everything was delicious, a pleasant and relaxing lunch break. The staff were very welcoming, approachable yet professional, and we even had time to chat.

07/09/2025: First night, very good pizza, great service. So we decided to order again the next day. Same address as the day before. Except nothing happened. They told me to call back, so I tried with my French-Italian. The person on the phone was super unpleasant. And I received a message saying my order was canceled.

01/08/2025: French-inspired pastry shop sells particularly refined products produced with skill and attention to ingredients. There is also a small space to eat them inside (or outside, if the season permits) accompanied by infusions or an excellent filter coffee.

01/08/2025: So good! Artisanal pastry shop, because they have a laboratory behind it, where they make French or French-inspired pastries, and everything is delicious. It's a small place, so I recommend avoiding rush hour if you don't want to wait. It's very clean and tidy, and the staff is super friendly. You're spoiled for choice; I wanted to eat everything, but in the end I had the classic cheesecake, which was incredibly good and moist, and my friends' desserts were delicious too. The window display was spectacular, and there were so many unique things (like a raspberry and basil cake or a coconut filled with papaya cream) that it was simply breathtaking. The prices are very fair, and the quality/price ratio is incredible because it's truly so good. It's very close to a metro station, so it's worth stopping by to try it.

04/08/2025: Dining available indoors or al fresco under a tent with hanging vines, etc -- very romantic. They specialize in huge, fresh white mushrooms as well as black truffles. We had the mushrooms, which are absolutely not to be missed. Pastas and fish completed the meal. Service was excellent and the wait staff swift, efficient and extremely gracious. The sommelier provided an excellent suggestion for wine pairing. All in all, a superb experience on a warm mid-summer night at sundown. We will be back! Just be aware, however, there are extra charges for bread, butter, still water (bottled) and a cover charge for the "tablecloth."

Il dolce… senza parole, una coccola per cuore e papille, che dire: una cucina che vuole rendere felice l’ospite, quasi come in un film, la cura, la cortesia, gli ingredienti freschi e di qualità, tempi perfetti, grazie allo Chef e a tutto lo staff, tornerò prestissimo 😉

26/08/2025: A truly worthwhile place! I visited this pizzeria with my partner and was truly satisfied. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with great professionalism by a friendly gentleman (Tito), who we later learned was the owner, and he immediately made us feel at ease. The quality of the products is exceptional, both for the pizza and the grilled meat. The pizzas are light and easy to digest, with a wide variety of flavors, including on weekends with whole wheat dough. Above all, they use fresh, top-quality ingredients, while the meat was tender and cooked to perfection—a true feast for the palate. Furthermore, a detail that makes the difference is the cleanliness. The clean and tidy bathrooms demonstrate the attention and care the owners have for every aspect of the place. Highly recommended for those looking for excellent pizza, a high-quality steak, and impeccable service. With ample parking nearby, I return whenever I can.

12/09/2025: Went for lunch. The farmhouse is right inside the Vulci park, in the open countryside, and that's already a plus. The atmosphere is well-maintained and pleasant. It consists of two rooms, one more internal and the other on a covered veranda, beyond which there's an outdoor area with more tables, which, I believe, are used in the evening. Homemade pasta and desserts are definitely another plus. The appetizers are generous, with local cured meats and cheeses. While it's hard to resist a nice platter, I recommend going easy if you're also ordering a first course or a grilled second course (we didn't manage that). I must say, we enjoyed everything. Friendly staff, and good value.

11/08/2025: No worries here: whether you eat meat, are vegan, or have celiac disease, they'll fill your plate (and your belly, too) as it should be. Traditional dishes that surprise you without fuss, and a staff so friendly and cheerful it's like having lunch at grandma's with your cousins.
