28/10/2025: What can I say? I've been there two nights in a row. If you want to eat an amazing granita and an out of the ordinary ice cream, you have to stop by Lolla. A truly obsessive attention to the ingredients makes the ice cream a real experience.

03/11/2025: Had a nice evening. Weather was good and I really enjoyed the pasta I ordered. The food is costly but since it tasted good - I didn’t mind the pricing. I would have given half a point extra - but the turn off was the desperation of the staff to try and get you to get the expensive product.
As a restauranteur myself - I always tell my team to avoid this. Never try and sell an expensive dish. See what the customer wants and what they will enjoy the most.
An upscale space like this should serve bread with they pasta so we can lap the sauce but no.
The guy constantly was trying to sell the most expensive wine or bread - so if they didn’t do that - would have been more genuine. Otherwise food was very good.
02/11/2025: Delicious food and excellent service! We booked a table in advance since this place is very popular, and we felt well taken care of throughout the whole evening. I ordered the lobster pasta and it was amazing, though I wish there had been a bit more lobster considering the price. Overall, a great experience!

For a company dinner with international guests, we chose Il Margutta.
The location is right in the heart of Rome, Via Margutta is a haven of beauty, and this restaurant is its pinnacle.
Each course embodies the work of skilled and respectful hands; the colors and flavors of nature intertwine, creating unique dishes.
The staff is friendly and customer-oriented from start to finish, and the organization leaves no room for slack.
Il Margutta is a perfect symphony, suitable for everyone, not just vegetarians.
A special thanks to Signora Tina for her impeccable elegance and professionalism in handling every request.

13/11/2025: Truly beautiful place, excellent food, something for all tastes, not a very large space but quiet and comfortable, good prices too, and the idea of serving dishes by weight is great. I recommend trying the fried zucchini flowers and white lasagna... music for the palate. The buffet idea is also great.
The desserts are also delicious.

However, I am giving 1 star because of the woman in the service staff wearing the black sunglasses, whose rudeness is absolutely unacceptable.
Not only does she not speak English, but she also pointed us toward the exit simply because we were standing in a spot and waiting—exactly where the very polite manager had told us to wait until our table was ready.
It was 22:00, so apparently we were disturbing her, as she clearly did not want to deal with any more customers.
It’s a real shame that the image of such a reputable restaurant with outstanding dishes is damaged by the discourtesy of its staff.
