06/09/2025: We visited Cantina Simonetti in Frascati and were truly satisfied! The atmosphere is typical of a fraschette, welcoming and authentic, with fast and friendly service. The menu offers all the classic Roman cuisine: simple, authentic, and flavorful. We ordered two cheese and cured meat platters, three first courses, a plate of bruschetta, a half-liter of house white wine, two bottles of water, four coffees, and two pans of pizza bianca: everything was truly excellent, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. During this period, service is offered outdoors, with tables in the square, well-organized and private, enhanced by the excellent lighting typical of these places, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant and characteristic. The house white wine is perfect to accompany the dishes, light but tasty. The value for money is also excellent: we spent a total of €104 for four people and left more than satisfied. If you're looking for a place in Frascati where you can savor the authentic flavors of Roman tradition in a convivial and charming atmosphere, Cantina Simonetti is highly recommended.

We were treated wonderfully, with recommendations for dishes and wine pairings from the chef who takes care of each table. The service from the girls was excellent. 24/08/2025: It's a charming restaurant, discovered thanks to the owner of a nearby B&B. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and attentive to everyone's needs. The food is truly delicious, and the quality is excellent, as are the prices. I highly recommend going there at least once if you're in the area. Special mention for the local Amaro. VERY GOOD

17/08/2025: Welcoming and clean restaurant. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. We had both meat and fish, everything delicious and with generous portions. Unbeatable value; in 2010, the average price of spaghetti with clams was around €7-12. Today, August 17, 2025, I ordered fresh pasta with clams at Il Boschetto for €12.00. Congratulations!

17/07/2025: We had dinner here tonight, the waiters and owners were very kind, as an "appetizer" we had some ARROSTICINI and, as we from Abruzzo say, they were the best ARROSTICINI we have ever tasted. Afterwards we had a slice of beef and another slice of steak, the meat was of the highest quality, the service very efficient and fast, the atmosphere romantic. For children there is also a large play area. I recommend everyone to come to this beautiful restaurant. Leonardo

14/06/2025: ECCEZIONALE.....per l' onomastico del mio papà siamo stati qui e abbiamo mangiato divinamente.Antipasti misti di salumi di cacciagione e selvaggina superlativi....i primi deliziosi ed eccellenti materie prime.... pappardelle al cinghiale,al capriolo e con porcini e tartufo il top...non esiste di meglio.Il proprietario e chef Roberto è accogliente e un ottimo consigliere anche di vino.Il padre Claudio anche lui super....Andateci,si respira aria di casa e tutto è squisito...Ci torneremo per mangiare i secondi di cacciagione... grazie,continuate così

28/07/2025: My husband and I went to this place for dinner on a Saturday night. I used to come here almost 30 years ago, when it was just a sort of trattoria serving a few good items: pickled vegetables on plastic plates and maybe a few traditional first courses. After so many years, we returned, and it was a great discovery! The place has completely changed (compared to my memories), with simple but very pleasant furnishings. The brothers were very kind and polite! The food was good, the bruschetta was unique and tasty, and the first courses were superb! If I could just make one comment, the wait was a bit long, but it was a Saturday night... we'll definitely be back with our friends! Maybe we'll try the pizzas/pinsas! Well done 👏

14/08/2025: This year wasn't a pleasant experience. Four out of five nights I couldn't sleep due to the noise of so many guests until the wee hours. Arrivals and departures in the middle of the night (1:30 AM/3:30 PM) with dozens of suitcases like caterpillars. Luckily, I recovered a bit on the last night.

13/08/2025: I only used the restaurant during my visit to the Benedictine monasteries. The atmosphere was clean and quiet. The service was friendly. The fixed-price menu was available for €28.

Nice place if you can eat outside in the square, but the €14 carbonara was inedible; the rigatoni and pancetta were supermarket-quality, I'd say, and the cream was the same. My son's cacio e pepe was the same, and I'm not even talking about my €19 fried calamari and shrimp... I think the pizza and meat aren't bad, though, because it's supposedly a grill pizzeria... So avoid the fish and Roman cuisine. Plus, the price per person with drinks and maybe an appetizer is around €30, not exactly cheap for the place.
