21/03/2025: Very nice environment, with many vintage objects that take you back in time. The tiramisu was excellent, but the cacio e pepe was a disappointment, halfway between gricia and cacio e pepe Five stars for the girl at the tables.

18/04/2025: Nice and cozy atmosphere although very small. The potential is there but the experience was disappointing. The waiter was listless bordering on rude, very slow service and exorbitant prices! A mixed platter for two people for 25 euros is a steal, especially considering that there were only two types of cured meats: mortadella and raw ham. Furthermore, 7 euros for a basket with 3 slices of focaccia (very good, of course...) seems like a roof top price in Via Veneto to me. I don't recommend it!

13/02/2025: You feel good, you eat well, you drink well, without necessarily "fainting". I love it because it makes you forget about living in a stressed and stressful city; for care even in simple things; because there is always a wine on your plate that's right for you.

22/04/2025: In questo ristorante ho avuto il piacere di gustare piatti della tradizione viterbese preparati con cura e passione. La qualità delle materie prime e la maestria in cucina si percepiscono ad ogni boccone, dagli antipasti ai dolci! Il “risotto alla pescatora” era semplicemente delizioso e ricco di frutti di mare, mentre la “pancia di maiale su sfoglia di patate” si scioglieva semplicemente in bocca, ben bilanciata e davvero irresistibile. Carne e pesce cucinati divinamente, in un ambiente accogliente e curato. Un’esperienza che consiglio assolutamente a chi vuole assaporare la vera cucina locale e non solo!

22/04/2025: Un’esperienza davvero impeccabile! Il Gargolo è un ristorante eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista: piatti deliziosi, curati nei minimi dettagli e realizzati con ingredienti di qualità. Ogni portata è stata una piacevole scoperta, dal primo all’ultimo boccone. Il personale è cordiale, attento e sempre disponibile, rendendo l’atmosfera ancora più accogliente. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca il vero gusto della cucina locale in un ambiente caloroso e autentico. Se mi troverò di nuovo in zona, tornerò sicuramente!

Abbiamo mangiato cose buone naturali e dai sapori antichi, in un'atmosfera molto accogliente e serviti da una gentilissima padrona di casa. In aperta campagna Sabina, con un panorama mozzafiato sulla Vallata sottostante, circondati da piante di ulivo e da animali Pacifici che vivono lì, tra il cinguettio e il venticello di un annunciato primavera, abbiamo ordinato un antipasto, un primo abbondante di fettuccine fatte in casa ed una zuppa al cavolo nero gustosissima, un secondo di carne tre contorni, 2 lt d' acqua, 1 dolce, due quarti di vino bianco e rosso, due caffè, abbiamo speso 23,50 /persona. Lo consiglio vivamente e sicuramente torneremo presto il gelso nero

18/04/2025: This place felt very customer unfriendly. The lady serving us was very impatient, as someone of our group was using the toilet first before buying a drink. In those few minutes she returned to the table four times. When he returned from the toilet she immediately came to our table and asked with an irritated tone ‘come on guys can we finally order our drinks??’, he didn’t even get the chance to look at the menu. Aside from that, there are no softdrink options at all and just one non-alcoholic drink available to pick from. The only positive aspect of this place is that it is atmospheric.

16/04/2025: The food was really really tasty. And homemade. even for vegetarians. Service was also reasonable. Gladly again and again. The food was reasonably priced.

24/03/2025: Very good food and the perfect place, easy to park with a separate terrace. We didn't know much Italian, but there's a man who knows Spanish and helps you make a good choice. A highly recommended place and well priced.

03/04/2025: Very unique owner-direct service experience. It feels a bit like having dinner in someone's large living room, and a nice, cozy space it was! The wine selection was high quality and the recommendation spot on. Highly recommend for something different and authentic.
