16/08/2025: Yesterday evening, the day of August 15th, around 8:15 pm, I sat down with two other people at the tables located in front of the entrance, outside the LA CASA DIPINTA restaurant in Spilimbergo. We all three ordered, from the menu written on the blackboard, the PORK SKEWER: ribs and neck bone, roast potatoes with rosemary. We were told to wait 45 minutes because the PORK SKEWER needed to cook. After waiting the required time, each of us received our plate, consisting of small pieces of meat and ribs. Everything was very salty and tough, nothing like the appearance of a spit, as if it had been boiled rather than roasted on the spot. And I won't comment on the freshness given the toughness of the meat. The only decent thing was the roast potatoes with rosemary. How infuriating about all this. I wouldn't have expected this kind of service, given that it had apparently seemed like an excellent place.

12/05/2025: Trovarla é un po' come una caccia al tesoro, il tesoro é un locale molto particolare in un contesto da fiaba immerso nel bosco. Quattro tavoli un fogolar e molto legno (pareti e soffitto). Solo menú degustazione stagionale (sette portate), a primavera erbe selvatiche. Piatti originali e della tradizione rivisitata, con ingredienti locali di qualità, presentati con gusto, servizio attento e puntuale (eravamo in due!). Buona carta dei vini orientata a nordest. Complessivamente tutto "ad un passo dal cielo....stellato". Per vedere le stelle si deve diradare un po' di foschia che impedisce di cogliere al meglio la qualità innegabile degli ingredienti e poter esclamare Wow!

31/07/2025: Another place we chose at random during the holidays; they welcomed us without a reservation. I think I ate the biggest veggie burger ever, and it was truly delicious. The only drawbacks were the wait times and the lack of a written beer list: by the third beer listed, I was already lost and couldn't compare the various options. In any case, highly recommended, a classic village pub where you can truly experience the place and not just the touristy side.

19/07/2025: C'è Chi C'ha Pub Review Last night, we visited the "C'è Chi C'ha" pub for the first time, following a recommendation from an acquaintance who had recommended it for its excellent food. And I have to say, there's absolutely nothing to complain about: the sandwiches were really good. Unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by the disappointing service, to say the least. As soon as we arrived, before we even sat down, we were asked what we wanted to drink. With no beer menu available, we made our selections, thinking the drinks would arrive shortly. Instead, after about ten minutes, a waitress came to ask for our food orders, but there was no sign of any drinks. We ordered, and despite the few tables occupied, the beer arrived only a few minutes before the food. As we were finishing our fries, a waitress came by to clear our plates just as we were finishing the last of the fries. The real problem arose when we waited to order dessert and coffee. After about twenty minutes with no waitresses approaching our table, and with another scheduled appointment that was putting us in a hurry, we had to call them ourselves. We ordered a single coffee, but after a quarter of an hour, with the two waitresses busy chatting among the regulars about past events, the coffee never arrived. At that point, we decided to get up and ask for the bill, only to discover, with disappointment, that we had been charged for the coffee we hadn't drunk. In conclusion, the sandwiches were excellent, but the service was terrible, and we never received the coffee we had ordered (and paid for!). We won't be returning. A piece of advice for the restaurant: pay more attention to new customers who might return, and spend less time chatting among your regulars and more time focusing on the service.
