Da Carmelo is a trattoria from another era, one of those increasingly rare. Gabriele serves authentic cuisine, crafted with home-made flavors, simple ingredients, and a wealth of passion. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, making you feel instantly at ease. The star of the show is rooster, served in all its forms: stewed with polenta, with tagliatelle, or with homemade gnocchi. Everything is handcrafted and prepared with great care. The stew and homemade fries are also excellent, truly spectacular. Here, every dish speaks of tradition, and every bite tastes of authentic cuisine. If you're looking for the authentic flavors of Veneto-Friuli cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Historic venue. Well-kept, clean, and the staff are professional and always smiling. Perfect for a family outing and to sample typical dishes from the rural Lower Friuli region. I can only say: well done!

We stumbled upon it by chance. Excellent food, simple and refined menu, polite and friendly staff, welcoming place, spotless restrooms, fair prices for the quality. I will definitely be back.

06/07/2026: Bar and restaurant in the center of Porcia. Excellent cuisine, a professional yet friendly atmosphere, and a welcoming atmosphere. The star reduction isn't due to the quality of the furnishings, which are attractive, but rather to the limited seating. Excellent value for money.

The staff is friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable. A perfect location for business or romantic dinners, for events or ceremonies of any kind, even for a simple aperitif with friends.
