01/11/2025: Bad experience. Fairly good welcome, run by a mother and son. The son was very kind, the mother was not at all disrespectful. It's a simple place; there are no menus with prices listed. My husband and I stopped by chance, since we were passing through. We ordered a fish appetizer to share, not particularly excellent, and a fish main course, also to share. Two desserts, and two coffees. We went to the cashier to pay, the lady gave us the bill, and right there and then, I paid, a bit shocked. Basically, she charged us double for an appetizer, €23.00, instead of just one. Unfortunately, I checked the receipt at the hotel and couldn't complain. A scam, pure and simple.

26/10/2025: Even though I arrived at a time when it was PACKED, I was taken care of right away. A huge variety of pizzas, good beer. Compliments to the pizza chef. Using a static oven, he presented us with two pizzas that were perfectly cooked. I recommend them.

19/06/2025: Bellissimo agriturismo, curato nei particolari e con una grande terrazza coperta. Buona la varietà di cibo dall'antipasto al dolce e del vino proposta da un menù che non si presenta come un'enciclopedia treccani per numero di pagine a garanzia della freschezza degli alimenti cucinati ed impiattati con cura ed eleganza. A me che in 41 anni di lavoro frequentare locali ed alberghi è stata la quotidianità e penso di poter dare un giudizio sereno ed obiettivo, sono bastati pochi minuti dell'accoglienza all'arrivo all'ordinazione, per capire che il locale non è gestito da gente improvvisata nell'ambito della ristorazione ma da persone che ci mettono passione e cura anche nei piccoli particolari facendo in modo che al momento di accomiatarsi già si pensi al voler tornare nuovamente. C'è da tenere presente, inoltre, che i piatti sono preparati con prodotti coltivati od allevati in loco da loro e fatti in casa. Ottimo servizio e prezzi onesti per quanto ho avuto modo di mangiare. Nella fattispecie, ho iniziato con del salame cotto all'aceto di mele e insalata di cappuccio viola marinato, per passare a dei buonissimi e delicati gnocchi viola con salsa al gorgonzola e finire con un semifreddo al mascarpone con coulisse di lampone. Gli altri commensali hanno preso terrina di coniglio e finocchio alla liquirizia, insalatina di rapa rossa con maionese vegana e verdurine croccanti e chips di riso, bavarese di melanzane con crumble salato. Casareccia lunghe verdi all'aglio orsino con cremoso all'uovo e speck croccante. Frico con polenta chips di patate e cipolla caramellata, lombo di maiale cotto a bassa temperatura con composta di mele e zenzero. Carpaccio di ananas con salsa al cocco, sorbetto. Buoni vini e liquori. Lo consiglio senza paura di essere smentito.

09/10/2025: Ordered on Just Eat. I thought it would have a higher crust, which I'm not exactly crazy about, but it was perfect. Crispy, well-filled, excellent. Marinara with anchovies

14/10/2025: They also have a fixed-price menu for workers at lunch, so I decided to spend the same amount as the workers' menu, but since I only ordered a second course "à la carte," the surprise was the €2.50 cover charge! That's the same as the fixed-price menu! Other restaurants at least justify the expense by differentiating the tables; here, they're all the same. I understand if the cover charge was minimal, but in my case, it was 20% of the price! The oil was stale, and the fries tasted like fish! It's still acceptable as a fixed-price menu, but "à la carte" is ABSOLUTELY NOT!

24/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. When I got home, I was particularly struck by the microscopic size of the pizzas: they looked just like children's pizzas, with a smaller diameter. Convinced it was a mistake, I returned the next day to ask for clarification, but the owner confirmed that that's the size of the pizza they serve at their restaurant: "220 grams of dough," she specified. Now, I don't know exactly how many grams of dough are typically used to make a pizza in Italy, but I'd never been served such a small pizza, especially considering the restaurant's price range. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever eaten. In short, a real shame, considering I recently moved around the corner and I'm a big pizza consumer (3-4 a week). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: Simply disappointed. The four of us waited 25 minutes before ordering, and we waited over an hour and a quarter. The first course arrived after another 8 minutes, the second after 4 minutes, the third, and finally, after another 18 minutes, the last course, which was fried calamari, which was boiled. Three pasta dishes arrived in over an hour. Half an hour after I ordered spaghetti with clams, the owner told me they were out of clams, so I chose the seafood sauce. It arrived incredibly spicy. I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. There were only two waiters in the dining room, and only one cook in the kitchen. It was too slow, too long a wait.

14/10/2025: Excellent place to try the fantastic Prosciutto Di San Daniele. They offer one of the best qualities I know, and believe me, I have tested many producers. Also the trout is great, the Spaghetti and fish dishes as well. Nice staff and regardless if inside or outside it is a very good place to eat.

06/09/2025: Nice spot along the bike path. We stopped at the kiosk. The hot sandwich, which you can make yourself with ingredients on the menu, is delicious.

28/08/2025: Great place next to alpe-adria trail path. Nice garden where you can sit under the tree. But staff was not so friendly. Prices average.

26/11/2025: It's a very steep and narrow way up to the camp, so the biggest campervans will probably not get up to this camp. The camp and the sanitary facilities are... Rustic and straight forward to its tasks. We stayed one night in November, the services are limited during winter season.

16/11/2025: We stayed two nights here which was the perfect location for visiting Trieste. We arrived in the middle with no advance booking and we were made to feel very welcome. We had the perfect spot not too far from a very clean and warm shower block! There appear to be a lot of permanent vans here and it seems busy but the site have some positive rules and regulations to ensure you have a good stay, including detailed instructions on how to get to the centre of Trieste by bus. We thought the price for two nights in the middle of November of €51 was good value as we had electric hook up, water and good amenities. There is a restaurant but we didn’t try it. If travelling in a van and want to explore Trieste we’d recommend this place!

28/10/2025: I understand why you pay as soon as you arrive! Aside from the very friendly staff, your room is freezing if you don't check in at the right time, and the water only gets hot (not super hot) after running for a long time. It's not the best, but you can get by.

21/09/2025: Staff who do not respect the customer and do not accept criticism, a messy and unclean place, the kitchen leaves something to be desired.

19/10/2025: The place is very nice and well-kept. The service is good but nothing special. The dishes are very minimal; on the menu they appear to be more tempting than what you can find on the table. I wouldn't return.
