14/08/2025: Unique, for its vintage atmosphere and management. It's a place rich in details to be discovered little by little, where a single woman serves as host, cook, and waitress. The menu is unique, with the signature dish being the highlight. Very generous portions. Highly recommended; reservations required.

18/06/2025: The host was clearly an ogre intent on venting his frustration on someone, I entered kindly and asked to eat something for lunch, I was presented with a menu that ranged between 17 and 29 euros which in my opinion was exaggerated for such a bare and raw location. On the menu there was a grilled hamburger with a side of grilled potatoes, I naively thought it was a sandwich and asked the ogre what was inside, the answer was disarming... With a lugubrious voice and a tone as if I were insulting some dear relative he said to me "it's not a sandwich! We're not at McDonald's!" Given the hostile and disconcerting response I became intimidated and asked even more kindly if it was possible to make a sandwich, since I was passing by and wanted to eat something simple and quick... And yet no! He tells me that he has a 30 cm sandwich and not the round ones from McDonald's, I reply that I never go to McDonald's and I try to understand if it is possible to have a f***ing sandwich made with something else inside, but every question only increased the frustration of being in the ogre's world, so I didn't order anything and decided to change places.... For the readers, I NEVER write reviews but this situation was incredibly out of place.... I hope that the ogre (a lady) has some other business or cryptocurrency otherwise I would be very worried about the future of that not at all welcoming cave/den. Madam, if you read this review, do some soul searching!

07/06/2025: Rapporto qualità prezzo insufficiente, perché: porzioni piccole cibo mediocre servizio gentile ma sbrigativo, probabilmente perché sempre affollato La location è bella sia interno che esterno. 16 € per un hamburger mi aspetto altro in dimensioni e ingredienti, plauso per il pane fatto in casa.

17/08/2025: A mountain farm in a stunning panoramic location. I can't comment on the food because I didn't eat there, but judging by the many cars parked there, I think the food is good. Easy to access, just 400 meters from the Crosetta road. August 17, 2025 Passing by during a hike along the local trails, we stopped for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by both the rustic and welcoming dining room and the menu, simple cuisine using home-grown produce and wild herbs. The lunch was excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended 👍

13/08/2025: Ordered two first courses and a second course for home delivery. We've never been to this restaurant, but if the food we received at home is their calling card, we'll never set foot in there! The first course was limited in quantity and of questionable quality. The other first course, a fish-based one, seemed reheated and the pasta was poorly cooked. The second course, besides being unsightly, contained pieces of soggy bread and a whole octopus of poor quality on top. Never again!!!!! 👎

31/07/2025: We randomly chose it while wandering around Udine, and it was a great experience. Given the generous portions, we only had appetizers for lunch. The place is beautiful, and the meringue for dessert was sublime (and the vodka in the sorbet was also remarkable). Highly recommended!

19/07/2025: Posto diventato per spennamento turisti... Pessima qualità.. Antipasto di pesce che non vale assolutamente 25 euro.. Pizza tipo suola di scarpa... Non ci torneremo più.. E pensare che si mangiava bene... Adesso tipo catena di montaggio e la qualità ha perso importanza

15/07/2025: Very good location for sightseeing. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and the hotel are a bit dated, but what's more important to us is having a quiet room. Unfortunately, the breakfast area left a rather dull and sad impression.

13/07/2025: Thanks to the warm welcome and friendliness of professionals like Matteo and Francesca, and their knowledge of the area, I felt right at home. As for the rest of the staff, they were very professional and attentive to their customers.

23/08/2025: I've been there a few times, this time I'm reviewing with photos... Location in the center of Piancavallo, traditional dishes, friendly staff and attentive to food allergies... Homemade desserts. I RECOMMEND IT. SUMMER 2025 Always a guarantee HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

16/08/2025: I've never had the opportunity to dine at Taverna dell'Urogallo, but my experience began with an al fresco breakfast where I enjoyed some truly delicious homemade tarts. Since then, every time I visit Piancavallo, this has become a regular stop. The last time I visited, the talented Lorenzo literally won me over with an irresistible array of desserts: I couldn't help but try them all! It's thanks to this experience that I've decided to give the place a well-deserved five-star review. A special thanks to Lorenzo also for the superb tiramisu, made unique by a secret ingredient I won't reveal... but which I invite everyone to discover for themselves.

25/08/2025: I stopped at this bar by chance. They also have a lunch menu. Generous dishes. We waited a bit for two toasted sandwiches because it was peak time, but I understand. The waitress who served us was very kind and apologized for the wait. The toasted sandwich served with salsa rosa was good. Cold drinks. Coffee was ok. Prices were ok. Ambience was ok. Adjacent outdoor parking.

27/05/2025: One of the best burgers I've ever eaten and coming from Milan it's not easy! Highly recommended, kind and capable owner with equally trained staff. Keep it up!! 💪

13/04/2025: I went to dinner about 3 months ago with my husband and my daughter, we ordered club sandwiches, french fries and BBQ ribs... in addition to the endless wait we received a club sandwich with soft, untoasted bread, greasy chips that I struggled to digest and equally heavy ribs. The staff didn't realize that the sandwich wasn't cooked and no one apologized (it's obvious that this is normal for them). I strongly advise against it and suggest improving both the cuisine and the service.

08/07/2025: A charming and quaint venue located a short distance from Codroipo's main square. The building is period, likely from the 19th or 18th century, and is located right next to the Codroipo canal. It previously housed the local courthouse. The venue is accessed via an internal courtyard, with tables for outdoor dining. The service and cocktails are good.

13/08/2025: We had dinner today. I highly recommend it: the food was excellent, beautifully presented, and served by a friendly and knowledgeable waiter. The wine was also excellent, an Istrian Malvasia, pleasantly described as sharp with an apple aftertaste. Thank you for a pleasant evening.
