21/01/2026: A very negative experience due to the attitude of a rather frustrated employee. I was with my father, who has a broken knee and walks with a crutch. After lunch, we lined up at the register as usual. The employee charged the two people in front of us and, despite seeing us in line, ignored us, leaving us standing there (with the restaurant empty). After about ten minutes, she started serving other customers who had arrived well after us. My father politely pointed out that it was our turn and that he was struggling to stand. The employee reacted in an annoyed and arrogant manner, huffing and puffing, addressing the other customers in a sarcastic and derisive tone ("Oh, it's his turn"), and responding rudely. My father, however, didn't react at all to the lady's behavior; we left, saying goodbye and thanking her, without even receiving a response. Disgraceful and insensitive behavior.

16/01/2026: There are no polite or neutral words to describe the rudeness of the clerks at the bakery and in the dining room, as well as the little, if any, attention paid to the customer. I waited 20 minutes sitting down, repeatedly calling the clerks' attention at the counter. I even approached what should be the bar section.... Nothing. They ignore you because for them, only the counter staff matters, and the counter is made up of those who buy bakery products. Remove the bar/breakfast section if you can't give the right attention to the customer waiting for breakfast. Not a single sign of courtesy. Terrible.

28/07/2025: Simply incredible! One of the best experiences I've ever had at an ice cream shop. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with exceptional service—friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and an impressive display of flavors. The gelato is of the highest quality: creamy, intensely flavored, and made with visibly fresh ingredients. I tried some classic flavors like pistachio, chocolate, and stracciatella, and all were impeccable. The texture, just the right temperature, and the balance of sweetness demonstrated the care and expertise behind each recipe. The space is clean, well-decorated, and has a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a break during the day. I also enjoyed the variety of options. Without a doubt, a place worth visiting more than once. If you're in Italy and enjoy good artisanal gelato, this is the place to go. I enthusiastically recommend it!

13/09/2025: The agriturismo is a well-kept and clean place, offering delicious dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. We've had several dinners there and always left feeling very satisfied. Excellent location along the SS14, with ample parking. Highly recommended.

22/12/2025: The bar offers a set lunch menu, and the waiters are incredibly fast. From noon until after 2 p.m., the place is always packed, a clear sign that they do good food. I had made a reservation (on Friday for fish), but they suggested I come back later to be on the safe side, because, rightly, workers get priority. The wait was long. Let's hope it won't be like this next time.

12/10/2025: A wonderful experience. On a Sunday in October, we ate outside, served by friendly staff, and the food was delicious! From the perfectly cooked grilled meat to the exquisite fish entree. I highly recommend it.

14/10/2025: We stayed one night at this agriturismo, well-run by Samuel and his mother, who makes delicious and sublime cakes with her homemade jams. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and recently renovated, with ample parking adjacent to the property. A delicious sweet and savory breakfast is served. The owner, Samuel, is a young, enthusiastic person who loves his work. We also purchased the wine and jams, both of which are homemade. The agriturismo is well-located, in a quiet area. The center of Gorizia is about a 10-minute drive away. Highly recommended.

20/11/2025: I came here yesterday afternoon, after a long time (several years ago, before smartphones and before the review system), for a coffee, and I must say, I had a great time... Spacious atmosphere, good coffee at a good price, especially considering the location on Viale XX Settembre, and it's a real pleasure that the other customers (at least that was the case yesterday) are overwhelmingly students/university students, so (at least that's what I sensed) the level of culture of those who enter this café (at least that was my impression) is considered higher than many other bars in the city... Everything was pleasant, so my overall rating is 5 stars.

05/01/2026: Excellent restaurant. Elegant atmosphere with soft lighting and great attention to detail. The staff (mother and son) were very kind and professional. We tried the Rosa di Gorizia, polenta with goulash, and beef carpaccio with truffles, all delicious and flavorful. Not to mention the wide selection of wines. Thank you so much.

11/01/2026: A restaurant up in the hills of Ruttars, that makes home made style Italian food. In winter only open on weekends (phone to check). Run by very kind people, we like the atmosphere and food here and recommend it.

24/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. When I got home, I was particularly struck by the microscopic size of the pizzas: they looked just like children's pizzas, with a smaller diameter. Convinced it was a mistake, I returned the next day to ask for clarification, but the owner confirmed that that's the size of the pizza they serve at their restaurant: "220 grams of dough," she specified. Now, I don't know exactly how many grams of dough are typically used to make a pizza in Italy, but I'd never been served such a small pizza, especially considering the restaurant's price range. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever eaten. In short, a real shame, considering I recently moved around the corner and I'm a big pizza consumer (3-4 a week). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: Simply disappointed. The four of us waited 25 minutes before ordering, and we waited over an hour and a quarter. The first course arrived after another 8 minutes, the second after 4 minutes, the third, and finally, after another 18 minutes, the last course, which was fried calamari, which was boiled. Three pasta dishes arrived in over an hour. Half an hour after I ordered spaghetti with clams, the owner told me they were out of clams, so I chose the seafood sauce. It arrived incredibly spicy. I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. There were only two waiters in the dining room, and only one cook in the kitchen. It was too slow, too long a wait.

17/03/2026: I arrived just before closing time, and they were extremely kind in welcoming me anyway. The kitchen staff stayed to serve me. This alone would be enough for someone looking for a welcoming and friendly place. I asked for a very simple spaghetti with garlic and oil, and I must say I was surprised by how good it was; it was anything but ordinary. The second courses were refined and very tasty. Generous/satisfying portions. Interesting wine selection.

19/02/2026: La Piola is an authentic trattoria in the heart of Sacile where we enjoyed amazing tartare, flavorful tagliatelle with ragù, and truly perfect cotechino with mashed potatoes. Michela was incredibly kind, friendly, and fast, and the experience was excellent, thanks in part to the down-to-earth Neapolitan owner and his delightful wife. Highly recommended!

21/10/2025: A dream bakery, fabulous carbs! Olive, onion, pumpkin, rice bread... stuff that makes even yeast sing. The brioche buns? Elegant, whole-wheat, irresistible. And then there's the apple pie, so good and just like homemade! You come in out of curiosity and leave with a full bag and a happy heart.
