03/01/2026: The food and beer were some of the best we've had in Friuli. Unfortunately, the atmosphere could be better because the lights are too bright and sometimes it feels like you're at the Fiera. The service is 5 out of 5, although I only had to deal with a guy who was in a hurry to take away my plate while it was still half full... (first he put his hand on the plate and then asked if he could take it away), but in my opinion, it's still a well-deserved 5 stars. My only suggestion is to dim the lights and make the atmosphere warmer; it would make it more comfortable and less "in the spotlight." Overall, 5 stars are well-deserved!

15/10/2025: A disappointing experience in every way. The restaurant displays symbols and images that openly recall fascism—a deeply inappropriate and offensive choice, as well as contrary to democratic values. The staff, mostly inexperienced seasonal workers, does their best but is clearly left without adequate guidance. In summer, the heat and humidity inside make it stifling, while outside you're literally beset by mosquitoes. The food quality is questionable, and the prices are average but not justified. I don't recommend this place, both for its atmosphere and the message it conveys.

06/10/2025: This restaurant also offers a workers' lunch menu at reasonable prices. Very fast service, perfect for those looking for a quick meal without wasting too much time. Also open on Mondays for lunch. Advance reservations recommended. Often full.

12/10/2025: A wonderful experience. On a Sunday in October, we ate outside, served by friendly staff, and the food was delicious! From the perfectly cooked grilled meat to the exquisite fish entree. I highly recommend it.

11/04/2025: The dinner was definitely good, but a friend asked for a cut of meat and they didn't have it. My friend and I both wanted a fish dish, and in the end we had to toss because they only had one. I had meatballs, which weren't bad, but to call them salty was an understatement. The wine by the glass was limited. Everything was well presented, but I don't think we'll be back.

02/03/2025: Before leaving for Italy, I was looking for a restaurant where I could eat local food. I can't stand "touristy" food. The restaurant was recommended to me at the Da Sisi Hotel, where I was staying. Tired after traveling 1,000 km, I wondered if I'd even be able to eat anything. At the entrance, I was greeted by a waitress. I guess I didn't look like a fan of Italian cuisine, because after presenting the set menu for that evening, based on local traditions, she suggested they could prepare something different. Of course, I happily ordered the local set menu. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the service was friendly and patient—the waitress explained each dish. The restaurant is worth recommending, because I would have to try hard to find a flaw. My culinary dream has come true. Thank you very much, I will definitely visit you on my next visit.

03/02/2026: A small place, but meticulously maintained. The clientele is mostly local, mostly regulars, and the people are laid-back and friendly. They have excellent lager, served in a 1/2-liter glass (a rare occurrence in Italy, where 400 ml is still the norm) and charging €5. The coffee is also good. I haven't eaten here recently, only quite a while ago, so I won't review the food. I often return, especially since I live nearby... But this little place is definitely worth it.

22/12/2025: The bar offers a set lunch menu, and the waiters are incredibly fast. From noon until after 2 p.m., the place is always packed, a clear sign that they do good food. I had made a reservation (on Friday for fish), but they suggested I come back later to be on the safe side, because, rightly, workers get priority. The wait was long. Let's hope it won't be like this next time.

29/01/2026: The atmosphere is dated and could definitely use a good refresh, although this place's character perhaps also comes from its timelessness. Friendly staff, quick service even when crowded, decent pizzas. A place to spend a quiet evening and eat at a reasonable price.

14/10/2025: We stayed one night at this agriturismo, well-run by Samuel and his mother, who makes delicious and sublime cakes with her homemade jams. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and recently renovated, with ample parking adjacent to the property. A delicious sweet and savory breakfast is served. The owner, Samuel, is a young, enthusiastic person who loves his work. We also purchased the wine and jams, both of which are homemade. The agriturismo is well-located, in a quiet area. The center of Gorizia is about a 10-minute drive away. Highly recommended.

05/01/2026: Excellent restaurant. Elegant atmosphere with soft lighting and great attention to detail. The staff (mother and son) were very kind and professional. We tried the Rosa di Gorizia, polenta with goulash, and beef carpaccio with truffles, all delicious and flavorful. Not to mention the wide selection of wines. Thank you so much.

24/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. When I got home, I was particularly struck by the microscopic size of the pizzas: they looked just like children's pizzas, with a smaller diameter. Convinced it was a mistake, I returned the next day to ask for clarification, but the owner confirmed that that's the size of the pizza they serve at their restaurant: "220 grams of dough," she specified. Now, I don't know exactly how many grams of dough are typically used to make a pizza in Italy, but I'd never been served such a small pizza, especially considering the restaurant's price range. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever eaten. In short, a real shame, considering I recently moved around the corner and I'm a big pizza consumer (3-4 a week). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: Simply disappointed. The four of us waited 25 minutes before ordering, and we waited over an hour and a quarter. The first course arrived after another 8 minutes, the second after 4 minutes, the third, and finally, after another 18 minutes, the last course, which was fried calamari, which was boiled. Three pasta dishes arrived in over an hour. Half an hour after I ordered spaghetti with clams, the owner told me they were out of clams, so I chose the seafood sauce. It arrived incredibly spicy. I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. There were only two waiters in the dining room, and only one cook in the kitchen. It was too slow, too long a wait.
