07/01/2025: Once the place where writers and intellectuals gathered. Now a pale memory of all this, just an attraction for tourists, where NOTHING of the atmosphere of the past is left. A note for the toilets: UNWORTHY of a place that SHOULD be classy. It is saved only by the location.

07/01/2025: Nobody is perfect but in comparison to other historic cafés it defends itself with honour, a lot of staff but also many customers at times make the service more difficult but it has improved over time and there are several waiters and trained staff, kind and helpful with courtesy and capacity. Coffee at the counter for 1 euro and usually with chocolate to accompany it! Best hot chocolate in the city, the only one without milk and with good cocoa! Excellent! Very good pastry shop. A nice place.

21/12/2024: All the dishes were excellent (starters, first and second courses) and I was enchanted by the pumpkin flan.

18/12/2024: Business lunch water and two 0.5 mm slices of roast and 1 tablespoon of spinach €14.50 …. Basically you go out because you have to go to lunch. Dessert for 6 euros which isn't even available in a starred restaurant at the moment. Disoriented service.... A work break takes two hours, because there are only 3 people between the kitchen and the tables.

01/12/2024: Come ogni anno ad Ottobre, abbiamo cenato da Mario, e come sempre era tutto eccezionale, sia il risotto, che la zuppa di cipolla, il cotto e cren....E l'ospitalità di Bepi e Michele è ineguagliabile. Consigliatissimo

10/10/2024: Este lugar escondido fuera de Latisana, Italia es tan especial en todos los sentidos. Cenamos al aire libre junto con muchos lugareños. El ambiente era festivo y encantador y el tipo de lugar donde no querrías estar en ningún otro lugar en ese momento. La comida era impresionante, tanto en presentación como en sabor. Me encantó el Celeriac Carpaccio y mira que bonitas son las anchoas. Los vinos locales eran hermosos también. El propietario vivió en Australia durante un tiempo, así que tradujo todo al inglés para nosotros y fue muy divertido. ¡La noche fue un verdadero placer! Me alegro de que Alessandra de la cercana Agriturismo Al Cantón lo recomendara.

02/01/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in tre. Alcune cose erano molto buone vedi la tartare di carne altre come le costine erano bruciacchiate e poco morbide. Vino della casa un po caro, 5 euro a calice. Prezzo del cibo nella norma.

15/12/2024: An excellent, very spacious two-storey venue. But... the service was very slow, for 4/5 meals you had to wait almost 5 hours. The dishes were normal, neither good nor bad. The cost per meal is similar to those of the others.

22/08/2024: Loved the fact that they gave us a seat and a pizza at 14.30 when every other place in town said they were closing. Pizzas were nice, two types, the thin one as well as the one with a thick crust on the outside. Loved both. Great coffee also!

20/08/2024: Pizza was good, service wasn't good at all. Unmotivated, unfriendly waiter who couldn't even bring himself to smile briefly. Everything that makes for good service was missing here. The runner from the kitchen who brought the pizza was friendly. Nice atmosphere right on the piazza with a view of a fountain.

09/12/2024: Durante il fine settimana dell’Immacolata, in visita a Trieste, siamo stati a cena in questo locale con tipica cucina a base di pesce. Abbiamo mangiato dei buonissimi piatti come per esempio uovo cotto con gambero arrostito con zabaione alla paprica affumicata, un polpo croccante, noci di cappesante in crosta di pane alla pizzaiola, degli ottimi tortelli caserecci farciti con rombo, una zuppa di pesce alla dalmata. Tutto accompagnato da due calici di vino bianco. In conclusione degli ottimi dolci, una delicata mousse di cioccolato amaro, strudel di castagne e dello zabaione tiepido al Marsala con lingue di gatto. Personale gentile e disponibile, servizio attento. Molto consigliato anche per il rapporto qualità prezzo.

08/12/2024: Sinceramente penso che la Chimera di Bacco sia il posto x coccolare il palato. Antipasti buonissimi...sia i crudi che i cotti, risotto perfetto, rombo con accostamenti davvero azzeccati e dolci super buoni....per nn parlare dei vini...la cornice perfetta per ogni piatto. Mangiati in 2 persone, 3 antipasti, 1 primo, 2 secondi e 2 dolci....e alzarsi da tavola soddisfatti e sazi al punto giusto...come nn succedeva da tanto tempo. Consigliatissimo a chi vuole fare una cena speciale e anche a chi è celiaco.

10/06/2024: Organized a birthday party for 50 people with an aperitif buffet: everything was very good, super pizzas, they also satisfied the needs of some vegetarians. Beautiful veranda and garden, professional and efficient but above all patient staff given that we made quite a bit of confusion and the end of the party lasted later than expected!

29/04/2024: We were only there for dinner, the place was nice in the middle of the countryside with a veranda available for eating outside, the dishes were excellent (typical Friulian food) and the prices were honest! We were satisfied and will definitely return!

27/09/2024: A very good restaurant with excellent cuisine. The grilled beef fillet steak was medium rare. The antipasti and pasta dishes were excellent. The The young chef took great care of us and we really enjoyed the atmosphere around the open fire. The surprise at the end was the very low price for perfect service and excellent, honest cuisine.

17/08/2024: What can I say, the environment is a bit spartan, but from my point of view the food is good. The dishes are right, you don't leave the table hungry or with an overly full stomach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The price is appropriate for what you eat. The only small flaw is the beer, good, excellent flavor but if it were a little fresher it would be excellent

01/12/2024: Hidden gem! Michelin listed restaurant in a cozy rustic cabin. Max 8 persons. By reservation only. Giovanni sets a fixed seasonal menu of amazing dishes with beautiful plating and great wine pairing (7 plates!) Family friendly for our 4&2 y/o. Will go again.

25/11/2024: For lovers of particular places. You will be welcomed by the owner who will introduce you to the restaurant with about ten seats in total. The entire menu is zero kilometer and everything is of great quality. Highly recommended!
