04/03/2025: Many pseudo restaurateurs, when they are reviewed with 3 stars, are offended and respond piqued. These Lords of mediocrity at very high prices should go and eat the fish at Al Gallo. They would learn what it means to have excellent (and not obvious) raw materials and to cook them in a light but tasty way. They would understand, regardless of taste (I always prefer to eat on a tablecloth which doesn't exist here) how to furnish a place with elegance. What an experience should be offered when the price well exceeds 50 euros (as happens now, especially in the city I come from, Bologna, even in taverns). They would realize that either places like Al Gallo should be able to give 6 stars in the category to which they belong, or their service should be downgraded to 2. I would improve the bread. Chapeau.

13/04/2025: Domenica con amici, Aperitivo di stagione con asparagi cotti a bassa temperatura arrotolati nel guanciale e con una spuma di uovo e limone...SPAZIALE ! Frico, piatto nella sua semplicità fatto con materie prime eccellenti , patate in tecia gustosissime! Parliamo dei dolci? Unici e perfetti nella combo dei gusti!!!! Servizio attento, curato, preparato e allo stesso tempo amichevole. Insomma VENITE !!!!

06/04/2025: La prima cosa da dire è una grande lode al personale di sala affiatato e preparato ,e gentile ma anche molto professionale, abbiamo provato anche per un occasione speciale il pranzo ed era soprq la media del friuli ,potevano evitare il prosciutto d oca comprato e il fegato grasso a mo di mousse ed era comunque scondito nell insieme , che era sicuramente di scarsa qualità sia il prosciutto d oca che il fegato grasso l'esecuzione dei ciarsons inteso come salsa piena di burro senza sapore in un piatto piano che faceva seccare la pasta potevano essere facilmente migliorati ,in ogni caso il ripieno era molto buono

20/01/2025: I've been here for lunch with friends and also for dinner with family, the friendly Chef Filippo surprised me with some excellent dishes, homemade pasta with seasonal and excellent quality products, grilled meat cooked on the fireplace, a simple but warm place welcoming, very interesting wine list in terms of quality and also at honest prices. The desserts are always homemade and all served by the Chef's attentive and expert mother. What can I say, an excellent discovery in the lower Friuli area, easy to reach with convenient parking, I'm waiting for the summer to also try dinner in the outdoor garden. Highly recommended for couples or families, you won't be disappointed. To return.

01/12/2024: Very nice place and decorated for the holidays creates a beautiful atmosphere. Pleasantly warm and the tables not attached to each other were appreciated. It's a shame that in dishes, such as rice balls, I don't dream of marking the allergens and so you discover too late that you can't eat them because they contain mozzarella. Recommended for the cold cuts and good prices. The sore point is the Service which unfortunately leaves something to be desired.

02/04/2025: Locale ben curato e molto pulito. Qualità del cibo ottima e splendidamente cucinata. Rapporto qualità-prezzo assolutamente giusto. Servizio puntuale e preciso. Unico neo, leggermente fredda la temperatura all'interno del locale.

09/09/2024: Family lunch with reservation, already had lunch in the past and were very satisfied for this reason we went again. In my opinion, the portions need to be revised, they were small, a little food should be added for someone who only chooses one course, it's really not much. The quality can be improved. The fairly organized service could be improved. Lovely place, I would suggest an area for children since there are donkeys and goats. The road on the Preone side is not better maintained than the Sella Chianzutan side

26/02/2025: I'm sorry to write a negative review, I usually don't write one... but rudeness and arrogance like the lady with the white hair had never happened to me... moreover, the food was really bad... I had a first course and the pasta wasn't al dente, it wasn't really cooked, the tuna and Taggiasca olives seasoning wasn't poor, it was non-existent. Bad experience not to be repeated.

15/12/2024: Here I ate the best sandwich with Venetian sopressa and Asiago ever; This bar should be the archetype of how to manage any bar for a quick stop, a chat, a coffee, a drink, it is open from half past four in the morning to two in the morning, Christmas and public holidays included. It is located not far from the Santa Margherita d'Adige exit of the A 31 motorway, passing by I always saw the crowded car park, I stopped and understood why... Well done!
