You can see all the passion that Alberto puts into his work as he explains the history of the Chianina and the cuts of meat he offers you, the fillet steak is stratospheric. YES Spend an evening with different company than usual in total relaxation. 3/4 times a year you have to go and see him.

21/12/2024: Beautiful little Friulian place, we ate very well, generous portions, the only flaw is that you can't see the sign from the road because it is covered by the awning, we arrived there with the navigator

07/12/2024: Splendid rustic-style restaurant with excellent local cuisine, fresh and tasty products. Gnocchi with wild boar sauce are delicious as is the tender and tasty goulash. Very friendly and helpful staff. Average prices, excellent price-quality ratio. I will gladly return.

24/11/2024: Da anni che vengo in questo ristorante. A pochi km da casa, qualità, quantità e servizio ottimo. Prezzi molto buoni trattandosi di pesce. Una garanzia Di solito prendiamo tris di antipasti freddi, tris di caldi e 1 secondo a seconda della disponibilità. Vino bianco sfuso molto ' beverino ' .

29/09/2024: Pesce fresco e piatti ben presentati. Diverse opzioni senza glutine e molta attenzione per le diverse esigenze alimentari. Staff preparato e molto preciso nel servizio. Sicuramente torneremo.

27/08/2024: Good morning I only had dinner and I was sorry I hadn't found it sooner because I would have happily stayed there. It is a beautiful place, completely renovated with a beautiful garden and a beautiful swimming pool. Dream place. Excellent food, compliments to the chef. I recommend it

24/08/2024: Menu with interesting and well-cooked dishes, such as cocoa cappellacci stuffed with spider crab and tecia potatoes. Finally a tiramisu made according to the right recipe and with an amazing flavour. Location a little anonymous, but welcoming. The service was fast and accompanied by kindness and friendliness.

22/11/2024: A place that has been totally renovated inside, resulting very fresh and pleasant, as well as the young couple (the owners?) who delighted us with a "burratino" sandwich and a cutting board that were nothing short of phenomenal!! We will be back...always!! Everything was really pleasant, except for the unbearable swearing that the elderly patrons use as an aside (I know, it's not the fault of those who work, but unfortunately they ruin the nice atmosphere)

16/12/2024: Posto accogliente e curato che mantiene la semplicità di un tempo. Ingredienti ottimi e piatti al top. Il personale ed i gestori cordiali e disponibili. Abbiamo molto apprezzato il tempo dedicatoci nel raccontare la storia del locale, la cui gestione si tramanda di generazione in generazione dal 1836! Un gran cuore/sensibilità dimostrata dai titolari anche nell'accoglienza riservata ai nostri amici a 4 zampe. Il dolce e il caffè ci sono stati offerti dalla casa...gesto molto carino ed inaspettato! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

04/12/2024: One of the best places in Trieste....quality food, impeccable service and top courtesy, prices in line. The only thing I would suggest in the raw dish is to eliminate cod, pâté and carpaccio and perhaps replace them with red prawns, oysters and cockles or raw scallops or canoce in season. Excellent scampi. 2 pieces of everything per serving would be perfect. Then everyone has their own tastes. Until next time

31/07/2024: Excellent dinner. We came to this restaurant for dinner and had a great time. We had dinner outside in the expanse since it was nice and it was very nice. The dishes were all really good, both the cjarsons and the veal shank with potatoes and also the very, very good desserts. Their house merlot is very good. Fast and kind service.

15/12/2024: Very nice, simple and welcoming place. Very helpful and courteous staff. The food is good and the products are good, top gnocchi melt in the mouth with butter and smoked ricotta which enriches the dish with its flavour, even the tagliatelle with radicchio and sausage were a pleasure for the palate, very good creamed cod, on the unfortunately I wasn't able to appreciate its flavor because in my opinion there was something bitterish about it which was off, I have to change my mind about the salami with vinegar because I took it for granted that it had an unpleasant taste and instead I really appreciated it, even the frico was much appreciated....on the desserts however I was expecting a little more strudel I had the best, good strucchi and cantucci but I don't think I their production. Prices are more than honest, I can't say we'll go back.

15/12/2024: We had dinner last night at this restaurant. The interiors recall the history of this place, with a beautiful fireplace and a warm atmosphere in every sense. Good quality food: we really appreciated the first courses (the various gnocchi) and also the off-menu last night (tagliatelle with sausage and radicchio). The creamed cod is also excellent. Prices more than fair these days. Certainly worth trying again.
