Very quaint place, excellent food, and very friendly staff. Excellent beer. Prices are reasonable.
20/08/2025: Buffet L'Approdo is an ideal stop for those who want to enjoy authentic Trieste cuisine. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the staff is friendly. The typical dishes, such as sardines, goulash, creamed cod, and warm cooked ham with horseradish, are excellent. Generous portions and fair prices. An authentic restaurant well worth a visit.

18/09/2025: We went to Torate twice during our vacation in Carnia. Once, we ate delicious frico and polenta. The Sacher torte was a bit dry. The second time, we had pizza, and I have to say it was truly delicious. The service was impeccable, the waiters were very kind, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. RECOMMENDED.
08/09/2025: A truly excellent restaurant. They have very good meat dishes. The tagliata is excellent. Prices are very reasonable and much lower than in the Dolomites.

16/09/2025: We stopped by chance. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the menu offers a decent number of courses. The ingredients and preparation are top-quality. If it's on the menu, I recommend the liver pâté with figs and toasted brioche, and the rabbit. The bread and chocolate cake is excellent. The price is in line with the quality.
16/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, visiting a customer who was chosen because it was on the street. It was a pleasant surprise.
A Slow Food Presidium, we ate chicken liver pâté with figs and spaghetti with white duck ragù. Delicious.

In a busy location, so it's hard to rate.
Very attentive and friendly staff.
Just my opinion: the €20 per night supplement for a dog seems a bit high.

21/08/2025: The food is good and the prices are fair (but not cheap). It lacks some restaurant touches like cloth tablecloths and napkins, but considering the price of the dishes, it's acceptable. I'll definitely be back.

Traditional dishes, well-prepared and tasty, at moderately low prices!

06/09/2025: Found it by chance and it was a surprise. The owner, a waiter and dishwasher from Desio, is not only a good businessman but also an excellent cook. Recommended dishes?? ALL OF THEM!! The place needs a little more attention as it's starting to show its age, but otherwise highly recommended!!
