27/04/2026: While visiting Trieste, we wanted to eat at a good steakhouse. We weren't disappointed: Alessandro greeted us from the start, showing us to our table and helping us choose our wines. Vlad then guided us through the selection of appetizers and main courses. Egzon served us the main courses and, most importantly, the after-dinner drinks. The result: a wonderful evening with experts who are passionate about their work. The quality of the ingredients and the cooking were perfect. We'll definitely be back!

12/04/2026: A beautiful and wonderful place nestled in the city, with a simple yet evocative sign design. Inside, the atmosphere is soft, elegant, and meticulously curated, with soft lighting that creates a very romantic feel. Huge praise goes to the staff, who were kind, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout the meal. Their expertise in explaining the dishes is, of course, included. As for the dishes, I couldn't give more sincere compliments, because it was a true culinary experience in the world of meat! An experience worth having at least once in your life, as they use very unique and intriguing cuts and their provenance. Definitely worth returning!

04/05/2026: We visited Trattoria da Gianni during a very busy time, during the May 1st holidays, and despite this, the owner was extremely kind and helpful, managing to find us a seat with great courtesy. This gesture was unexpected and truly appreciated. The dishes are excellent, carefully prepared, and above all, generous, with an excellent quality/price ratio. Table service was extremely fast, never making us feel neglected. Special mention for the tiramisu, truly special and delicious, one of the best we've tasted in a long time. The waitresses are also very kind, professional, and always smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The trattoria is located right in the center of Gorizia, very convenient and ideal for both a lunch break and dinner. We will definitely be back. Congratulations to all the staff!

The service was excellent and very friendly. The owner, Eda, was fantastic, welcoming and pampering us.

It's difficult to find a table without booking well in advance, for obvious reasons: the food is excellent, the house specials are expertly prepared, and the prices are perhaps the best in the province, better than in Slovenia and Croatia, with the difference that here the home-cooked quality of Italian cuisine really shines through. The place is rustic and simple, unpretentious. A must-visit, especially for lunches or dinners with family or friends.

09/02/2026: It was a nice winter dinner at the end of the year in Modesto 😌 The pizza was delicious. One can choose the "tipo di farina" that is the type of flour for the pizza dough (only 2€ extra). The atmosphere was cozy and warm. We enjoyed the desserts too (torta della nonna, crema catalana). The decoration with ship models is charming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience in Modesto. I strongly recommend this pizzeria. 🙃

23/03/2026: Every time, a delightful experience! Aperitif with a delicious homemade salami, a welcome from the kitchen with cheeses and fresh polenta! The tripe as a second course was fabulous! The appetizers were refined and of excellent quality! A wide selection of first courses, including homemade pastas and delicious risottos, not to mention the second courses, traditional dishes presented "as they once were," and the duck...something special! It all ends with a well-stocked trolley of homemade desserts! And let's not forget the wines! An endless selection that will satisfy even the most discerning palates! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!

07/04/2026: The food was delicious, and I have no complaints there. However, I wasn't pleased with the service. Everything was rushed, and when we arrived, there were several empty tables, so I didn't understand why they wanted to take my plate away when I hadn't finished eating. What really bothered me was that they removed the plate that was under the dessert while I was still eating it. I hope to return another time with friends so they can try the food, and I trust that the service will improve and that an experience like this won't happen again.
