Cute, welcoming, very clean place, super efficient, friendly staff, and fast service.
The food is excellent, fresh, with decent portions.
Very good value for money.
19/06/2026: Very nice place, prompt service, and very friendly staff. Tavern-like atmosphere, generous portions. Excellent tagliata. Absolutely reasonable prices during a period of significant price increases, and the food here still offers a very good value. Recommended!

13/07/2026: Large menu, pizza was really tasty and generously topped, waiters were friendly but don't expect the same level of hospitality as in other restaurants; they weren't very efficient, nobody came to take the payment, many people went to the cash register themselves.

17/07/2026: What a wonderful surprise: a beautiful place, the view of the Natisone Valley and the tranquility alone would be enough to satisfy you. But there's more: refined cuisine inspired by the local produce. The owner passionately explains the ingredients and even comes out to pick the produce, show you the leaf, and tell you its story. Attention to detail, a very welcoming atmosphere... Let yourself be surprised.

07/07/2026: The ambiance itself is very simple... dated decor... nothing fancy... you come here to eat... and lots of it! The menu is extensive... so much stuff! The Ljubljanska is the star... but also the calamari... the pasta... in short, a triumph of food, all very good and... lots of it! Incredibly generous portions but still all very tasty. The simplicity of the ambiance immediately puts you at ease... the staff is very kind and always present! Congratulations. I drove an hour but it was worth it. See you next time!

12/07/2026: We often get takeout here and the quality is always excellent. The fish is always fresh and the dishes are carefully prepared, even when you don't eat in. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality products, even for takeout!

25/07/2026: A fantastic discovery: at the end of a narrow street that seems to get smaller and smaller, a green space suddenly opens up, with the trattoria in the center.
Inside, there are three or four rooms, some modern and well-renovated, and a few tables outside.
Meat and fish menus with absolutely reasonable prices for the quality!
Friendly staff, fast and accurate service.
If you're in the area, book and try it!

12/05/2026: We ate very well, even though the place is small. We didn't have to wait long for a table. We enjoyed authentic Trieste cuisine, plus a fantastic strudel with warm cream. We'll definitely be back before we leave.

09/06/2026: What a surprise, such a great restaurant in the middle of nowhere! The grilled Angus beef was fantastic, the truffle pasta exquisite. The wines were very good, and all at very reasonable prices.
03/06/2026: Very kind professionals, excellent meat and food.
Charming restaurant with a patio for outdoor lunch or dinner.
At the end of the meal, a rose was given to each woman at the table—a very kind and much appreciated gesture.

26/07/2026: Our first time in Trieste, we were looking for a restaurant where we could eat well, and after seeing the dishes, we asked for a recommendation... excellent!
The staff was super friendly; we ordered seafood dishes and, despite the wait, we ate deliciously! Excellent value, the portions were generous, the fish delicious, and you could taste it was fresh.
The wait was made up for with two rounds of complimentary limoncello. Finally, we said goodbye, meeting one of the staff members who was very friendly, courteous, and incredibly helpful.
An excellent introduction to Trieste and to us, who, we already know, will be back.
26/07/2026: Very kind. I asked for some talcum powder because I'd stained my face. They kindly gave me a spray with a brush attached.
I ate very well.

29/09/2025: A place that warms your heart ❤️. As soon as you arrive, you can already feel the warmth of the place, with attention to every detail. The love the owners put into this magical place, nestled in the nature reserve, is magnificent! The welcome with a smile, the very polite waiters who pamper you. The clean and well-kept environment. We spent our anniversary exceptionally well and were amazed! From the quality of the food to the presentation, you can taste all the love the chef put into each dish. It's been a long time since I found such a special place, where all you have to do is let yourself be pampered. Congratulations! You can see what I mean from the photos.
17/09/2025: We've had dinner there several times and hosted the wedding reception. What can I say? Everything was always perfect: excellent quality food, beautiful location, friendly, helpful, and professional staff.
