21/06/2025: Review: An absolutely amazing Italian pizzeria! The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, the service is warm and professional, and the food is out of this world. Their pizzas are baked to perfection — crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend the “Quattro Formaggi” – it’s a heavenly mix of cheeses that melts in your mouth. A true gem for pizza lovers!

30/12/2025: The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't like the fish. Years ago, I'd eaten very well, but yesterday the grilled fish wasn't good and the spaghetti with clams was bland. The gratin appetizer wasn't bad.

26/12/2025: Ristorante Grifone in Barcola Trieste, run for decades by the Lanzellotti family, has been a guest since 1992 and a friend of the family for 33 years. A top-notch restaurant run with heart, passion, and professionalism! A wonderful ambiance with an old tree shading the terrace and top-notch service at the table and in the kitchen by the Lanzellotti brothers. Regional products from the sea and the karst, vegetables, fruits, and wines from all over Friuli Venezia Giulia and neighboring Slovenia. I can only give it 10 stars. Thank you so much!

04/01/2026: A very good restaurant with a lovely courtyard, and the interior is also beautifully decorated. Pizza, pasta, fish, seafood… everything we've eaten here so far has been excellent. The service is very friendly and quick. I absolutely cannot understand some of the negative reviews. Making a reservation is definitely a good idea in the summer. Even with a reservation, there's no "reserved" sign on the tables, as some people here seem to misunderstand. So, it's quite possible that tables will be empty and you'll be turned away if you arrive without a reservation. And everyone knows that in Italy you don't just sit down at an empty table, but wait to be assigned one…

28/12/2025: The place is cozy, the service is nice. Slow? Didn't you come to relax, to get wet? Where are you rushing? We came in around 2:30. It was a bit difficult to find the place, even though it was clearly marked. We ate pasta, drank wine, a Tiramisù and coffee. We returned in the evening: pizza, salad, wine, Unicum. We were satisfied with everything. One could find fault. But why? Bravi! 👏👏👏

12/10/2025: The hotel is conveniently located, practically halfway between Trieste and the nearest Slovenian towns, Izola and Piran. The property features a beautiful, spacious terrace offering stunning sea views and the beautiful sunsets. There's a lovely, large outdoor pool. Inside, there's a spacious breakfast room for a delicious sweet and savory breakfast. The rooms are furnished with slightly vintage but decent furniture, and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large, but the showers are a bit limited. The hotel has parking and is located in a very quiet area. The manager, Mirella, is very kind and hospitable. Overall, a highly recommended property.

18/12/2025: We were a group of about 90 people attending a party organized by the Municipality of Pradamano for seniors. We were all disappointed with the food, the table service by only two waiters (perhaps owners), even the restrooms. Shame. Never again.

08/12/2025: Good morning, today, December 8th, at the seniors' lunch at the Municipality of Pradamano, I'd say we were disappointed by the service and equally by the food! A word of advice: if you don't have staff and aren't capable of cooking, forget it! From 12:30 to 2:30, we only received polenta with sausage, followed by a salad tray that arrived at 3:00 PM. After several requests, it suddenly arrived: barley, water, and radicchio (inedible), salami with onion, cotechino with brovada, and two slices of polenta for four people, roast beef with potatoes, all cold. MR. MASAROTTI, WE ARE NOT CARITAS ELDERLY PEOPLE! Kind regards.

29/09/2025: So, I came with a school for a 5-day trip to Tarvisio, and I have to say this hotel is one of the best. The food is exquisite and delicious, the rooms are tidy and clean, and the view is of Camporosso. For more information on the accommodations, you can see below. P.S. I came between June 30, 2025 and July 5, 2025, so it was hot.

20/08/2025: Family mountain vacation. We had a great time. First of all, they gave us a choice between two rooms, one more modern and one more 1980s-inspired but with a beautiful view and super spacious: we chose the latter and have no regrets. They're renovating all the rooms, but there are quite a few, so they'll be done little by little. This doesn't take away from the cleanliness and order, even in the older rooms. The food was fabulous, we ate very well; we were half-board and even stayed for lunch on August 15th. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The playroom for the kids was amazing, and my daughter loved it. The location is quiet, perfect for being surrounded by nature and setting off for beautiful excursions in Italy, Slovenia, and Austria. We really enjoyed our vacation. Show less

23/09/2025: I've been frequenting this lovely pizzeria in Maniago Libero for years, and I can assure you that if you like Neapolitan pizza, here at Caminetto you'll find the best in the area! The owner and chef, a young and enterprising woman, comes from a family of chefs and puts her heart and soul into her work! All the ingredients are carefully selected, healthy, and delicious, from the flour used in the dough to the delicious mozzarella. Highly recommended.
