06/05/2025: Excellent canteen, good food, friendly and nice staff. Wide range of choices in terms of dishes and drinks. Full menu €12.50. There is also space for trucks nearby, the location is excellent with the Carnia-Tolmezzo motorway exit just a few meters away.

21/01/2025: Premetto che sono venuto a cenare in questo locale quattro/cinque volte. Si definisce "trattoria", ma è uno dei ristoranti migliori del Friuli. È ubicato in un'isolata località. Il locale è semplicemente meraviglioso, con una temperatura interna medio/alta (i freddolosi ringrazieranno). Le pietanze sono ineccepibili e preparate come si conviene in un locale di fascia alta. Possibilità di bere vino in bottiglia o al calice (che consiglio, se si vogliono degustare diversi vini accoppiati ai vari piatti). Il personale, vestito con abiti tipici, è molto attento e disponibile. Prezzi proporzionati. È il ristorante ideale dove andare se si vuol fare bella figura.

17/03/2025: We are a couple from Trento and we went to visit Trieste over the weekend. We ended up there by chance. Really nice and familiar place, excellent food. You can eat very well without spending too much. Very kind, friendly and nice owners. I recommend it because you can't go wrong there!

14/04/2025: Locale "Storico" in centro a Udine e come tale si presenta anche negli arredi, ma come si suol dire l'abito non fa' il monaco, se fosse diverso in questo caso perderebbe le sue peculiarità. Propone un menù non troppo elaborato ma con piatti curati e ben preparati. Ci siamo stati diverse volte provando piatti diversi e non abbiamo mai avuto nessuna rimostranza, certo non sarà un esperienza indimenticabile, quella che molti cercano quando escono a cena, ma se vuoi dei buoni piatti a dei prezzi che ritengo in linea con quanto si riceve la Cicarade è il posto giusto.

25/04/2025: Hotel 2 steps from Trieste station and near the tourist center of the city. Modern and clean rooms like all the hotels of the NH chain. Good breakfast but with a GlutenFree corner to improve. Too bad for the lack of parking or at least an agreement nearby.

23/04/2025: I was a guest at NH TRIESTE for the first time and I can't help but say: wonderful! I made an excellent choice thanks to its proximity to the station and the historic center. Clean, super comfortable beds, spacious room and superb breakfast. First time in the magical city but I am already nostalgic for this enchanting and unique city, gateway to Europe and intellectual salon! If I really have to find a flaw... it is. Only that of having stayed only one night! I will return soon because Trieste deserves more than one visit and obviously I will return to NH TRIESTE Thanks to all of you

22/04/2025: Very characteristic place, it feels like being on board an ancient galleon. Many mini rooms where you can dine in peace. Efficient service with the right timing, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent pizza, I definitely recommend.

07/05/2025: 2 pizzas, a coke and a water €47 and change (madness). Aesthetically beautiful pizza but among the worst I've eaten, when I told the waiter that it was burnt and tasted burnt he looked at me and said nothing and to top it off there was one of the restaurant's friends, maybe I don't know, who started singing Neapolitan songs that not everyone likes (probably just them) and then around the tables asking for the offer. Then I enter the restaurant to go to the bathroom, a waiter stands in front of me and says: "please?", "I have to go to the bathroom", that is, leave me alone, I'm not going to steal your money from the till. Shocking, if I needed something I'd come looking for you, right? I mean fast service at least

17/04/2025: Frankly expensive for what it offers, not to mention the bar service which isn't there if you don't have a meal. The last time I ate the waitress was rude because it was obvious she wanted to clear the table, we arrived at 9pm, within 40 minutes we ate and still with a piece of bread in her hand she started clearing the table. I don't think I will go back there again.
