19/04/2026: A beautiful place in the heart of the historic center, excellent cuisine.

06/04/2026: HOSPITALITY We stopped by on Easter Monday, around 12:30, and had a 15-minute wait to be seated, which was perfectly normal considering the holiday and the fact that most restaurants are closed today. After sitting for 15 minutes, I went in to ask for the menu. Having a 3-year-old daughter, I wanted to speed things up ☺️, and they told me the osteria/cicchetteria section was closed and we had to order à la carte. Instead, they brought a platter of prosciutto to the table next to ours. (They had also ordered it 5-10 minutes earlier.) I cleaned the table where we were sitting, and when they brought the menu, I asked if we could have a single breadstick with prosciutto for the daughter, and they said no. Having a small child and accepting their presence at the table with adults is still hospitality. We didn't ask to occupy a stovetop by making an off-menu pasta dish, but rather a simple rolled breadstick, which they had on the menu and on the blackboard. Too bad. When I got my Hospitality Certificate a few months ago in Veneto, there was a lot of discussion about these little touches... there's a lot to learn. We're campers, and for lunch we always try to take advantage of local services and activities. Today, we're having a picnic in the park.

18/06/2025: I was there this morning, the brioche was very good but I was really shocked by the rudeness of the girl who replaces Cristina, I had already had the opportunity to see it and I had also heard about it. I basically went to pay and she asked me if I paid for everything, I told her yes, she gave me the bill and when I went out I checked and saw that she had added to the bill the 2 cappuccinos that 5 minutes before a friend of ours had gone to pay for himself, I went back in, I asked her if she remembered this person because I didn't want her to think I was ripping her off, she didn't even listen to me, she got angry saying that I was the one who had to tell her what we had and that she didn't know if they had paid for the cappuccinos because there were 100 of us, actually there were 7 of us! I described the gentleman to her but she talked over me! There weren't many people and she remembered all our drinks very well but not that they had paid for 2 cappuccinos 5 minutes before??? Come on! And in any case a little calm and good manners wouldn't hurt!

08/04/2026: Parking with elevator is very convenient but not cheap at €14 per day.

28/12/2025: Immaculate Conception weekend in Udine. Renovated hotel near the city center. Comfortable room and bathroom equipped with everything you need. Underground garage accessible by elevator, convenient and spacious, at an additional cost to the room. Friendly staff and a more than adequate breakfast. Pets are welcome.

06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place quite by chance a few nights ago. The place is really cozy and has a wonderful, elegant feel. The food was simply delicious, and the staff was super friendly and very attentive. We really enjoyed our time here. Hopefully, we'll be back soon!

08/04/2026: Disappointment: for the rude attitude I received, for the slow service (we were almost the only ones in the entire restaurant at noon!), the pizzas were decidedly undercooked and very moist. I'm sorry, but I remember always having good food at the old restaurant.

29/08/2025: Anyone who doesn't always want to eat in the most crowded areas, but still wants to be just a few minutes' walk from the city center, shouldn't miss this. Unassuming from the outside, but the food and staff are first-class.

03/02/2026: Buffet Valentin in Trieste is a fantastic place! The owner, Silvia, is very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is familiar and cultural. The cuisine is homey and offers traditional Italian dishes.

22/03/2026: The atmosphere is spacious and noisy. The service is fast and professional. The food is unremarkable: both the spaghetti, meat, and fish were cooked adequately. There were a few initial hiccups, but they were quickly corrected.

22/03/2026: I was with a group of 53 people. Despite the large number of portions to prepare at once, they were very kind, fast, and organized. Very good food and generous portions. The shortcrust pastry dessert baked in a wood-fired oven was splendid! Recommended!
