04/10/2025: A charming mountain hut serving high-quality local products. The mountain views are simply breathtaking, and the journey is made even more special by the presence of cows and goats along the trail, making the arrival a unique experience.
13/09/2025: What a beautiful hut with such a view. Lots of children help out during the holidays, the food is fantastic, and the prices are fair! It's a lovely place to hike up from the pass or drive up by car.

12/03/2026: We celebrated a friend's birthday.
She was thrilled with the warm, retro-style atmosphere.
The Lazio cuisine was made with quality products, crafted as only Romans know how.
The Grecia, the cacio e pepe, the artichokes alla giudia and alla romana, and the abundant desserts made for a delightful lunch accompanied by excellent local wines.
The service was quick and discreet, with appropriate menu suggestions. The owner, Elena, was attentive to every request.
The final bill was more than fair.
We will definitely be back.

29/03/2025: We stopped by and had a wonderful dinner: excellent meat and Vicenza-style cod, good quality, and generous portions. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They treated us to dark chocolate split with a special cutting board and a glass of rum. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: We found the restaurant very authentic. I'm not sure what one could criticize. Apparently, some tourists didn't observe Italian etiquette. And they don't serve pineapple pizza here either.
08/11/2025: Located right on the canal in Grado is this really good and friendly restaurant, which belongs to the fishermen's cooperative next door, where the fishermen deliver their catch daily. I've been here so many times and there's never been anything to complain about. But be sure to book well in advance during the summer, as it's very popular.

Fantastic sandwiches and chickens, the charcoal-grilled chicken is truly amazing, highly recommended!

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten!

09/03/2026: Friends and I came for dinner. We ordered. Half an hour later, the waitress returned and said something was broken and the order had been lost, and we needed to reorder.
We waited an hour and a half for the food 😵💫 and they brought us bread as an apology for the long wait. :///
The fried squid and fish were terrible. The pizza, with its huge sides, was very mediocre. Some of our orders were forgotten, and some weren't even cooked yet, so they brought us takeaways, like calzones, which had been topped with sauce, as it turned out, to hide the burnt dough, which was raw inside.
The evening was ruined. :///

01/03/2026: We used to frequent Buffet Vita often and had a pretty good time, until one evening last summer, when we went there for our usual sandwich, sat down, they set the table for us, and the kind owner came to order. Only then did she inform us that every (Wednesday?) in the summer they ONLY serve seafood. Once we were seated, we ordered, and ended up spending the same amount as at a high-end seafood restaurant. The food was still good and the fish was fresh, but honestly, we felt a bit trapped.

02/01/2026: Great place, great view, polite, and very good people. Psychologists, don't stop at the Bar Alle Alpi in Forni di Sotto. The manager is rude.
09/11/2025: In a warm mountain setting, with a lively dining room, Monday night showcased the vibrancy of one of the few active establishments in this beautiful mountain village.
There were some pleasant surprises when choosing wines, including the magnificent Livio Felluga, Vértigo, which speaks of terroir and foreign grape varieties.
Just a couple of pasta dishes with venison ragu, where the magic was diminished by the overuse of a heavy-handed knife that flattened the dish. The pasta was good, but the overall experience was underutilized by the presence of this harsh knife, which made everything seem even.
A little cheese served as a fitting end to the meal.
The next day we returned for lunch and found the same flaw in a goulash and a venison stew.
The dishes fell short of their potential.
Attentive service.
Friendly atmosphere.

A place that is very well suited for aperitifs and toasts as it has a room adjacent to the bar and a vast assortment of excellent cicchetti ranging from mixed fried food to pizza, chips and various savoury dishes. UNDISPUTEDLY THE BEST APEROL SPRITZ I HAVE DRINKED IN THE AREA AND NOT ONLY IS THEIR IMPECCABLE MEASUREMENT. A BIG APPLAUSE TO KATIA THE ATTENTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL BARTENDER WITH BLONDE HAIR.... WELL DONE WELL DONE WELL DONE... I WILL GLADLY TRAVEL 35 KM WHEN I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRINK HER DRINK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. In the area and not only have I tried other places but hers is the best I drink. WELL DONE

24/02/2026: We stumbled upon this traditional restaurant on our first evening based on a recommendation from our hotel, and we kept coming back for the rest of our stay!
A welcoming, family-run establishment where the cuisine is authentic and exceptional! You're spoiled for choice, and everything is delicious: from the charcuterie boards (their lard is truly divine!) to the homemade pasta dishes, fresh salami cooked with onion and vinegar, and polenta, or the classic frico. The tiramisu and pear strudel are fantastic!
