07/10/2025: Excellent restaurant in Maniago. The frigo and orzotto are phenomenal. The service is friendly and fast. I only recently discovered it, but I've been there twice in a week and will definitely be back soon. Definitely worth a try!!!
01/10/2025: We must have arrived on the wrong day... both appetizers were too salty, while the wild boar was tasteless. The frico with onion was unexpectedly over-abundant.

19/11/2025: Good Neapolitan cuisine, clean place, friendly, kind and fast, reasonable prices, offers a fixed menu for 14 euros and off-menu options with fair prices. I recommend it and I will go back as soon as I return to these parts.
25/10/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff, the kebab is absolutely delicious, the prices are reasonable and the location is quiet.

26/05/2025: Excelente comida. Teníamos el pollo y la tagliata de ternera, ambos muy tiernos y cocinados por expertos. El vino de la casa era un delicioso merlot. Ambiente muy relajado y acogedor. Tenemos nuestro conserje del hotel para agradecer la recomendación, ya que desde la calle parece un bar de vinos. Está a dos cuadras del lugar donde atracan los cruceros, por lo que es muy céntrico.
09/03/2025: Como recomendó el conserje en nuestro (excelente) hotel en Trieste, esto fue acogedor, buena comida, super elección de vinos por copa y buena relación calidad-precio. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Tuvimos una comida variada y magníficamente ejecutada - el sarro de ternera y el pollo lento - cocinado eran ambos sobresalientes - y cuando el conserje del hotel y sus colegas llegaron para su almuerzo, entendimos su recomendación! No lo dudes.

07/12/2025: Unfortunately, I only stayed one night with a small group of friends.
We couldn't have asked for anything better... welcoming, clean, and we were treated with every care and attention; the owners were extremely helpful.
The location is top-notch, and the view is stunning.

25/08/2025: We had the fixed-price menu for lunch.
Everything was truly delicious, with a choice of three first courses, three second courses, and three side dishes, or pizza, including a drink and coffee.
The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional.
The place, which I remembered as "Le Casate," was lovely.
We'll probably go back for dinner next time.
Well done, guys, keep up the good work.

The food is delicious, and the wine is a gift. They also serve water from an artesian well. The server brings a pitcher, and you help yourself. Wonderful!
19/10/2025: We organized lunch for my baby's baptism and everything went perfectly! Excellent food and impeccable service! The guests were also very happy! We will definitely be back.

But the chef? Absolutely unacceptable.
After politely asking about the onion soup for €16.50 (which tasted like nothing at all), he stormed out of the kitchen and snapped at us, asking if we “had any idea how much work goes into that soup!”
And then came the sentence that ruined the evening:
“If you can’t afford it, you shouldn’t eat in Portopiccolo!”
I’ve rarely experienced such arrogance.
The pizza was fine – but the chef’s attitude was disgraceful.
💫 The day before, at Gaudemus: refined cuisine, outstanding service, every detail perfect – and worth every cent!
A clear proof that you can eat exceptionally well near Portopiccolo – just not at L’Oro di Napoli.

07/12/2025: I've known this place from the outside for a long time, but I'd never been there. Last night, I went for dinner with a group of friends. The place has a rather unique decor, with plants on the ceiling and various statues scattered throughout. The service is quite good, but the food is truly top-notch. Delicious pizza, tartare, excellent tuna tataki. Prices are reasonable.
22/11/2025: A very beautiful restaurant. The modern atmosphere is meticulously maintained, tastefully and elegantly furnished, and truly welcoming. Both meat and fish dishes are excellent. The desserts are exquisite, as are the very soft pizza slices offered at the start of the meal. The staff is friendly and attentive. The owner is very welcoming and I thank him for his courtesy and helpfulness.

09/11/2025: We stayed this weekend. The rooms are simple but spacious with exposed beams. The agriturismo is well-maintained and decorated with antiques. The owner is friendly, the prices are average, and the food is well-prepared and delicious. The location is convenient for those arriving by car, with free on-site parking, but a bit inconvenient if arriving by train. The place is very quiet.
16/10/2025: I stopped by here for an aperitif with a friend. Excellent canapés. We drank a spritz. We paid a fair price. I'd already been here this summer for a wedding. I'd already had a great time. The aperitif was plentiful and delicious.
