10/11/2024: I entered this Osteria...I found a very interesting environment, at first you are fascinated by observing the objects, the particular furnishings take you to travel in time...the cuisine is very good with local and highly sought after products. .the owner's welcome, helpfulness and kindness were exquisite....highly recommended. Try it to believe it.

03/11/2024: Arriving without a reservation, we asked for a table for two, they sat us down and brought us the menu then..... They forgot about us. Tables that arrived after us were served, they passed by us but no one ever stopped to take the order. Shameful. After half an hour we left.

22/12/2024: Il ristorante ha di recente cambiato gestione, ho trovato più varietà e qualità ottima. Anche la quantità generosa. Non abbiamo preso dolci, ma sul resto posso dire che siamo usciti davvero soddisfatti. Prezzi un po' più alti della media goriziano ma lo consiglio.

23/11/2024: Questo locale era vicino al mio albergo e, non avendo voglia di camminare ai primi freddi, ho ceuto al consiglio del portiere (solitamente non lo faccio). Il locale aveva il grande salone suddiviso in due per una cena del Rotary e, quindi, c'era un po' di confusione, anche se i tempi non ne hanno risentito. Buon menù che comprendeva anche l'extra dei funghi fritti, buoni anche se poco croccanti. Prezzi non bassi ma in linea con la qualità. Personale di sala gentile. Un piccolo suggerimento ai Proprietari: cercherei di rendere un po' più "calda e ospitale" la sala. Probabilmente ci tornerei.

08/12/2024: Si presenta come un locale forse un po' retrò. Il personale professionale e disponibile, proposta di cibi tradizionali assolutamente da assaggiare il gallo piatto forte della casa. Prezzi assolutamente onesti per il servizio e la qualità del prodotto Ci tornerò.

16/11/2024: PURTROPPO PENSO SIA CAMBIATA LA GESTIONE . Sono stato molte volte in questa semplice ma ottima trattoria e sempre mi sono trovato molto bene e, alcune volte ho anche lasciato recensioni molto positive. L’ultima volta ci sono stato ieri sera ( 15/11/2024 ). Il primo sospetto è stato che non ho visto l’abituale personale ma sono stati i piatti che ho mangiato che non avevano minimamente il sapore al quale ero abituato. Scadenti e di poco sapore. Credo per me sia stata l’ultima volta “Al Gallo, da Carmelo””.

22/09/2024: Overall structure a little "withered". The room where we slept was extremely small and tastelessly furnished. Furniture from Ikea. Little care for the environment. The only notable thing is the food. Very good. But at exorbitant prices. We paid more for dinner than for the room with breakfast...I wouldn't go back again.

17/09/2024: Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte Fleisch, Fisch, Nudeln und Gemüse. Die Speisen waren so lecker dass ich mich hinterher beim Koch bedanken musste! Es war einfach perfekt und der Service mehr als zuvorkommend. Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis der besonderen Art. Genial !!

10/11/2024: I am very saddened. My husband and I went with our little poodle, given the excellent reviews. There were 3 free tables but, despite apologizing, they didn't even let us sit because "... We are too busy with work...", they told us... Evidently other restaurants don't work like this place... And thank goodness! We were very disappointed, also because they had spoken very well about this restaurant, in the heart of the beautiful village of Venzone in Piazza Municipio, and we would have been very pleased to taste the grilled meat that was on the grill at that moment. We repaired to another place in Venzone, this one also very full, but without any "reception defects" despite them also working very hard... Very strange... It's a shame, who knows if we'll return, after all we too are "...full of work..." and we wanted to eat well in a historic restaurant in Venzone. 😔😔😔😔😔😔

13/10/2024: Please do not visit as the service is only annoyed by out-of-town customers. We have been coming here several times a year for years, but for some time now we have found our visit to be a nuisance to the staff. It's a shame, but there are also nice other options here in Venzone!

11/09/2024: Very welcoming place. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Frico and polenta highly recommended. The venison with polenta is excellent. Exceptional gnocchi with melted butter and smoked ricotta. We will absolutely be back.

24/11/2024: We went for lunch on a Sunday in November. The tavern is one of the "old fashioned" ones, you can breathe the local air. The menu is not very long but full of homemade quality: as an appetizer they offered us some really good local cheeses and salami. Homemade bread still warm top. First courses: cjarsons and plum gnocchi rated 10. Super friendly and attentive staff. Excellent value for money.

26/11/2024: This sandwich shop is a regular stop for my lunches. They also offer a fixed menu with several options, including burgers, which I always choose with pleasure. The main courses (first and second courses) are plentiful and look good, demonstrating the quality of the preparations. The burger is really good, with fresh and well-balanced ingredients. The staff are always helpful and attentive, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment. Perfect for a quick but tasty lunch!

23/11/2024: Friulian tavern, large room for an aperitif with friends and two separate small and well-kept rooms for dinner... a warm and familiar atmosphere, a beautiful fireplace and well-finished tables. Friendly and smiling staff. The dishes follow tradition, revisited appropriately and with quality products. Excellent toc in braide. Wide choice of wines, not just Friulian. In conclusion: we ate well, we felt pampered, we will return
