We spent two days in Lignano and ate there every day; we'll be back.

At the Vigneto di Marano Restaurant, you'll experience an authentic atmosphere, steeped in care and passion. The cuisine is simply excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and immediately captivating presentations. The courtesy of the staff makes everything even more enjoyable, always attentive and helpful.
A special thanks to the owners, Serena and Gottardo, who with their warmth and kindness make every guest feel at home: truly special people who exude a love for their work.

28/08/2025: My husband and I had lunch today. A pleasant discovery, with a rustic, family atmosphere. The menu features seafood dishes: my husband had an excellent mixed fried fish, while I, unfortunately allergic to fish, had an off-menu dish kindly suggested by the chef: delicious crepes filled with ham, tomato, and mozzarella. The wine was also good. Fair prices.

23/09/2025: Discovering this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The location is spectacular, a terrace overlooking the valley crossed by the immense Tagliamento River. It's just a shame about the fog. The cuisine is interesting, showcasing local specialties. The service is good and fast. The price is fair.

26/10/2025: A good old-fashioned pub. It harks back to the days of the lira and happy Italians; I love that kind of atmosphere. Pizza is only available in the evenings from Friday to Sunday. We always stop by when we're in the area. If you're looking for something more elegant, there's a pizzeria across the street in the hotel—they also have a wood-burning oven.
*Another visit (June 2025), and another good experience. New pizzaiolo (female), great pizza—thank you 🇮🇹😎🤩😋🇮🇹

25/11/2025: A beautiful, intimate restaurant in the historic centre of Spilimbergo—exceptional menu with honest prices, wonderful and passionate owners, engaging staff (who can speak excellent english), and antipasti / tartine that were spot‑on and absolutely delicious! We’ll definitely be back for more!
09/11/2025: A wonderful family lunch. We were greeted with a smile and enjoyed excellent canapés: choose as many as you like. The first and second courses were excellent. Ask for local wine recommendations and try the desserts too. We'll be back.

The portion of gnocchi was small, and the accompanying meat sauce was tasteless.
I didn't feel comfortable in the restaurant, and the food was mediocre.

22/09/2025: A lovingly designed new building with sparkling clean rooms, which were meticulously cleaned again after our three-day stay, including a change of linen. The service was equally attentive. Since the attached restaurant was unfortunately closed during our visit in September, we received a recommendation for a neighboring tavern; they kindly made a reservation for us. All in all, it was a truly wonderful vacation—not least thanks to the excellent management of our hosts!
15/06/2025: Lunch for three, everything excellent, home cooking but with a touch of originality.

17/11/2025: Trattoria specializing in lunches and dinners, mostly for large groups, by reservation and prior arrangement of a menu. Service is organized and attentive. The dishes are all excellently prepared, allowing you to savor the flavors of local tradition. I recommend this place to everyone. 👋

As soon as you enter, you can sense the owners' love and passion.
The atmosphere is enchanting and the outdoor garden is truly lovely, perfect for a break between courses.
Simple dishes made with quality ingredients, with truly sublime salami and plum jam.
The only downside was the price of the appetizer, which we thought was a bit excessive. Otherwise, the other courses were reasonably priced and of good quality.
Highly recommended.
