14/02/2026: A welcoming and highly recommended place where you can feel right at home.
A gem that breaks the mold of the usual commercial norms.
You can have lunch, dinner, an aperitif, and purchase saffron-based products.
The staff is friendly, cheerful, and very attentive to customer requests.
The prices are more than fair, and the quality of the products is excellent.
If you find yourself in Polcenigo, this is a must-visit.
07/01/2026: A small, very welcoming place that feels like home. In one room, they've recreated a small, fanciful salon. I'd add a little Christmas tree, and it would be perfect.
The food is delicious and traditional, with coffee served directly from the Moka pot at your table.
The prices are more than reasonable, and the staff is very friendly.
I recommend it.

03/04/2026: April 3, 2026. I arrived at lunchtime; there were almost no seats, but there were Italian police. They looked at the cargo documents and the freight, forced a couple of refrigerators to leave, and that was good. I also like it when it's quiet, just like the locals. And if you chose a refrigerated ship, that's your choice and your problem. It's strange that some people think they should be listened to and tolerated.
01/04/2026: The coffee was great, served by a very friendly guy, but the woman taking payments was rude to all the customers; she was very unfriendly. We customers kept looking at each other because of her bad manners. She's a tall, thin woman with dark glasses.

After 40 minutes, no one showed up at the table.
They got up and left.
I wish posterity better service.
I'm replying to the owner here, because it's not possible to do so following his comment.
No, it happened last night. Table 12 near the entrance. There were plenty of waiters, but it was impossible not to notice that there were clearly customers and customers, because hugs and kisses and subsequent service were quickly reserved for numerous people who arrived after us.
Perhaps what needs to be revised is the "attitude."
One can wait for the pizza, but asking for a simple order doesn't require much effort.
08/03/2026: New pizzeria restaurant in Baldasseria, very large, modern, and elegant inside.
Southern specialties, including many types of pizza, as well as good first courses, like their house pasta dish with eggplant (pictured).
Prices are reasonable.
The Oro coffee is good.
It's a shame that from the outside the place isn't very visible and not at all elegant, especially the horrendous parking lot...but that's the responsibility of the municipality and the work they're doing on the canal, not the restaurant itself.

A truly delightful place, very good food, and very kind staff. We felt truly pampered and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

20/02/2026: I'm very sorry, because this has always been a place that has given me so much. I used to come here to climb and afterward we'd all sit together. Today, four slices of ham, four pieces of cheese, and three small pieces of bread cost the same as in the center of Florence. I understand the increases, but despite it being San Daniele, the price seems a bit high. I honestly don't want to dwell on other details. It will always be a beautiful place, but honestly, based on my experience, which can be seen from the plate and the receipt, it seems a bit too high. It's comparable to sitting in a restaurant, all that's missing is the cover charge.
16/02/2026: When you come from panorama drive/walk immediately this small restaurant is waiting for you with great coffee, sandwiches and sweets ! It was really nice pit stop!

03/10/2025: Delicious homemade products for takeout. They have everything from yogurt to aged cheeses; the ricotta is sublime. Very crowded on Sunday lunchtime, but well-organized.
14/09/2025: Traditional dishes with authentic flavors.
The herb-filled Cjarsons, frico, and goulash are excellent.
The desserts are also delicious, including strudel and fried forest fruit tart. Highly recommended.
