20/10/2025: I went to the pizzeria to visit Vittorio and Roberta, the owners, and while I was there, I ordered a delicious pizza, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was perfectly cooked and had plenty of mozzarella, just the way I like it. What can I say? One of the best pizzas in the area, and kudos to the service, too!

12/10/2025: I had the opportunity to dine here two evenings for work. The food is excellent, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The staff is very kind and helpful, as is the owner. Recommended

25/08/2025: We had the fixed-price menu for lunch. Everything was truly delicious, with a choice of three first courses, three second courses, and three side dishes, or pizza, including a drink and coffee. The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The place, which I remembered as "Le Casate," was lovely. We'll probably go back for dinner next time. Well done, guys, keep up the good work.

03/12/2025: Welcoming and warm place, friendly, helpful, and smiling staff. Good, very good food. The only (minor) flaw was the strong cooking smell, which left a strong odor on your clothes when you left, but it's overcome.

23/11/2025: We went for lunch yesterday, during our tour of the Santa Caterina Fair. A family-friendly atmosphere with the best traditional Friulian food. Good value. IF ANYONE AT THE RESTAURANT IS READING...you'll see that the women's restroom needs fixing.

14/09/2025: What can I say? It's a fantastic place. The staff, along with the owners, make you feel immediately at ease with their courtesy, friendliness, and politeness. The food is excellent, with generous portions, and the prices are very reasonable, making it suitable for families too. They're excellent at organizing events. In short, I return with my family and bring friends too.

09/11/2025: We stayed this weekend. The rooms are simple but spacious with exposed beams. The agriturismo is well-maintained and decorated with antiques. The owner is friendly, the prices are average, and the food is well-prepared and delicious. The location is convenient for those arriving by car, with free on-site parking, but a bit inconvenient if arriving by train. The place is very quiet.

16/10/2025: I stopped by here for an aperitif with a friend. Excellent canapés. We drank a spritz. We paid a fair price. I'd already been here this summer for a wedding. I'd already had a great time. The aperitif was plentiful and delicious.

31/10/2025: Service was slow but friendly – no issue there. But the chef? Absolutely unacceptable. After politely asking about the onion soup for €16.50 (which tasted like nothing at all), he stormed out of the kitchen and snapped at us, asking if we “had any idea how much work goes into that soup!” And then came the sentence that ruined the evening: “If you can’t afford it, you shouldn’t eat in Portopiccolo!” I’ve rarely experienced such arrogance. The pizza was fine – but the chef’s attitude was disgraceful. 💫 The day before, at Gaudemus: refined cuisine, outstanding service, every detail perfect – and worth every cent! A clear proof that you can eat exceptionally well near Portopiccolo – just not at L’Oro di Napoli.

11/09/2025: Hotel Al Giardino was the venue for our wedding, and they did a fabulous job. We experienced all the hotel has to offer - the rooms, food, pool, gardens, and had no complaints. Lina and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding day special, and to ensure our guests were comfortable. Would recommend this hotel a hundred times over!

06/12/2025: Simple, good food, unpretentious home cooking. The prices are definitely too high. For an appetizer of cured meats and pickles, Vicenza-style cod, a little house wine, a side dish, and coffee, I paid €34.50. I won't be returning.

29/11/2025: In the secluded Pordenone countryside near the Tagliamento River, lies a lively and popular (for lunch and dinner) hub for lovers of traditional rural cuisine. The focus is on meats, from mussels to tripe, mule, and cod, prepared with great attention to flavor and digestibility. Everything is delicious. The side dishes are spectacular: extraordinary beans all'uccelletto, cooked vegetables, and onions, both fresh and cooked. The horseradish pairs perfectly with everything. The red wine is perfect. It doesn't end there: biscuits and various desserts round out the meal (while waiting or paired with slivovitz and all kinds of liqueurs). Prices are fair. The staff are friendly and fast. A place frozen in time (from the 1960s), where you can immerse yourself in that atmosphere while still maintaining the same level of care and cleanliness.
