08/10/2025: A restaurant serving hearty, high-quality, and excellent home-style cuisine. We had one of the best seasonal mushroom risottos, and the same goes for the tiramisu. A great place to eat.

09/09/2025: A small, good snack bar/takeaway that serves not only pizza but also crepes, paninis, and sandwiches. Four of us went there and ate quite a bit, but the price for the freshly baked pizza was still reasonable. Overall, a recommendable snack bar.

28/04/2025: Enchanting place surrounded by nature. All products are 0 km and you can feel it. Everything is excellent, from cured meats and cheeses to pickles. Delicious eggs, not to mention the ricotta cake. Top! The prices are very low. The girl who serves the tables and at the counter is kind, helpful and smiling. Go there!

22/04/2025: Super Easter Monday. Cheese and super dessert platters. Lots of horses and greenery around. Beautiful experience.

14/09/2025: The best fried fish ever, the spaghetti with clams delicious, and the grilled meat platter excellent too. Generous portions, excellent value. The location isn't fabulous, but the tables are tastefully and elegantly set.

05/10/2025: Excellent quality food at a great price. Generous portions, friendly and knowledgeable staff: we had a hard time downloading the menu app (perhaps a simple PDF would have been better), but they explained the dishes to us thoroughly and with great patience. All the dishes were excellent. A special mention goes to the rare beef stratagliata, truly superb.

17/09/2025: Like every year in September I went to the Coiltech fair and had lunch at the Cantina, I would say a guarantee of excellent pizza at honest prices

20/09/2025: We had a great time. The staff was friendly and punctual, and the dishes—breaded sardoni and pappardelle alla busara—were excellent. The price was very reasonable. It's a popular place with locals, and I highly recommend it.

27/07/2025: Great food; great prices. Twice as much food for half the price than the previous evening in the busy centre. Everything was delicious. The pizza was perfect, the gnocchi was melt in your mouth and the meatballs were plentiful. The service was quick and polite. We were the first people in for dinner so not much atmosphere but that's not the restaurant's fault; we prefer it quiet anyway. Would recommend to anyone visiting Trieste.

09/06/2025: Als "Wiederholungstäter" wurden wir auch diesmal wieder nicht enttäuscht. Schöne Terrasse, schönes Lokal, netter und zuvorkommender Service und last but not least viel Gutes aus dem Meer und aus dem Keller. Wenn man in der Umgebung ist, unbedingt ausprobieren. Die Preise sind übrigens der Qualität entsprechend.

05/06/2025: Könnte man mehr Punkte vergeben das Castello hat es mehr als verdient. Wir waren eine Gruppe von sieben Personen Und alle Speisen die serviert wurden waren einfach fantastisch . Das Thunfisch Tatar einfach lecker . Aber auch die Hauptspeisen einfach ein Traum .Mir viel die Auswahl richtig schwer,weil alle Gerichte auf der Karte sehr verlockend klingen . Empfehlen kann man auf jeden Fall das Risotto mit Meeresfrüchten ,aber auch das Rinderfilet war ein Gedicht . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder wenn wir in Muggia sind .

18/07/2025: This cafe is a Udine staple, especially for authentic Sicilian flavors. Their pistachio products are incredible: rich and perfectly balanced. Every time I’m back in town, I stop here for breakfast. The pistachio granita is a must-try: refreshing, not too sweet, and full of flavor. A little taste of Sicily that keeps me coming back.
