29/01/2025: Update: I was contacted immediately by the venue due to the misunderstanding that had arisen as the cake service applies to larger groups of people. We clarified, I really appreciated their apologies and willingness to make amends! I would like to point out that I have never had any problems in all these years, always nice and friendly, until what happened a few days ago which says a lot about their correctness and transparency. I personally booked (and not on the phone) a table for the following week for 5 people, specifying that I would bring a cake for my birthday. They didn't tell me anything more about the cake, but for my own sake, on the evening of the party I called to ask if I should have brought saucers or anything else and they replied that they would do everything themselves, omitting for the second time that I would have paid for a cake service. of €15. In all these years, a similar situation has never happened to me in any venue where I have ever celebrated, so such information cannot be taken for granted. My fault was not checking the receipt at the time, trusting it, looking at it only after a few days of having left it in the bag, otherwise I would have immediately contested what was omitted on both occasions. The problem is not paying, but the lack of transparency of this situation.

12/03/2025: Delicious food, we ordered fiori di zucchina (fried zucchini flowers served with mozzarella and olives - super tasty), gnocchi with goulash (amazing, the meat is super tender, melts in your mouth, delicious dumplings), salsiccia in crosta di panne (quite a heavy dish, meat as if baked in a bread crust, served with beans and cabbage) also very good. The best gnocchi by far! The service was very nice, we said we would share all the dishes and they divided them all into two plates! Additionally, we received ice cream tins and a large basket of fresh, crusty bread. I recommend it 👌👌👌 (in the photos, half a portion of each dish)

17/03/2025: Gennaro and Omar have created a bright, elegant but not sumptuous environment, of great human welcome. Well presented dishes, notable mention for the spaghettone with sea urchins (not on the menu), the stuffed squid on pea cream and the mascarpone ingot. Fancy appetizer deserved a little more wasabi mayonnaise to "push" the excellent steaming. Prices in line with the overall experience. Thanks to Anna for her jovial and professional spirit of service.

26/03/2025: We had a perfectly good lunch here after visiting the castle. We enjoyed some tasty starters and main dishes typical of Gorizia. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely great value! The waiter was very nice—her English wasn’t the best, but she made up for it with pure enthusiasm. She had the kind of smile that could brighten anyone’s day. If I were a local, I definitely would have asked her out!

23/03/2025: Returning to this tavern made me rediscover the typical flavors and aromas of my childhood in Gorizia. Simple but very tasty dishes with excellent raw materials. Excellent quality/price ratio. Genuine, kind and thoughtful service. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend.

11/03/2025: This restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, it is a restaurant that transmits serenity, tranquility and it is a bit like you are at home. Exceptional service and staff, above all the owners know how to welcome you, and put you at ease. Francesco usually takes orders, explains the menu to you in every detail, and as far as wines are concerned he is an excellent sommelier.

11/03/2025: Exceptional lunch. Nothing to add when the quality exceeds expectations. The cjarsons are one of the best dishes I have ever tasted without a doubt. Congratulations indeed.

09/03/2025: On a weekday we were not accepted at lunch time (arrival at 2.10pm) and even though we also asked for a dish to eat quickly the maitre d' was inflexible Even though the opening hours clearly shown on the internet are until 3.00 pm Nothing particularly serious, we went to another available place It's a shame that Friulian hospitality disintegrated in an instant

27/02/2025: Dinner with colleagues in this characteristic Friulian osteria. The place is rustic and welcoming, the waitress/owner very kind, polite and helpful. The starter of cured meats and cheeses is excellent, and the Milanese risotto with ossobuco is equally good. Maybe we waited a few minutes too long for the main course but it was a good opportunity to drink a glass of red wine in company. Very nice chef with a passion for rock! Honest account

26/11/2024: Lugar interesante, ambiente agradable y un buen servicio y sabrosa pasta. Hicimos una parada para una comida familiar y el lugar era perfecto. Podíamos admirar un juguete hecho a mano por los niños locales y esperar una comida. Bonito lugar en las montañas.

We have a little dog, and when they saw him they wanted to share that they also have two little dogs like ours, and then they wanted to cuddle ours by offering him a frankfurter. Devo dire è stata una bellissima scoperta❤️ Inizio con la prenotazione fatta on line,velocissima e semplice da fare, perché perfettamente spiegata in ogni dettaglio. Ti danno l'opportunità fare anche qualche richiesta particolare,io ho richiesto un tavolo vicino ai giochi e così è stato.Siamo arrivati un po' prima della prenotazione e ci hanno fatto accomodare subito ugualmente. Il personale è gentilissimo,raramente si trovano ancora giovani con il sorriso e così disponibili. In sala c'erano due ragazze e un ragazzo davvero piacevoli.Grazie ancora. Il menù bambino viene portato subito al tavolo,così i bambini possono mangiare subito. Cosa apprezzatissima. Io e mio marito nel frattempo abbiamo preso un aperitivo e scansionato il codice QR per consultare il menù. Abbiamo preso due pizze. Una Campana (melanzane,burrata e pomodorini) e una salsiccia e friarielli davvero buone e molto farcite.Nel frattempo la bambina ha potuto giocare nell''area gioco davvero fornita ma cosa importante pulita. Siamo arrivati e stavano finendo due compleanni e bambini c'è n'erano tantissimi ma nonostante tutto bagni e giochi puliti. Apprezzatissima la macchina dello zucchero filato. Con pochi euro ti puoi scegliere la forma e colore. Bellissima. La ragazza a fine serata ha regalato anche un palloncino aia figlia premurandosi il colore le sarebbe piaciuto e glielo ha gonfiato al momento. Prezzo qualità super. Bravissimi e a presto. Samanta
