07/02/2026: Excellent Romagna appetizers, cured meats, and squacquerone, plus excellent meat main courses. Friendly and attentive staff, comfortable atmosphere. I'd happily return.

07/02/2026: We've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and I have to say it was truly a surprise. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality flavors of yesteryear, this is the place. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff makes you feel right at home. We started with a Tuscan platter, which was truly excellent, especially the porchetta and lard. For our first courses, we opted for the green cappelletti with truffle and the pappardelle with wild boar. Everything was top-notch; everything was truly excellent. I think they were among the best soups I've ever had. We continued with the braised beef in Nebbiolo wine. It melted just looking at it, and the reduction was truly special. Needless to say, we were on the verge of bursting, but we ordered a dessert to top it all off. A truly pleasant experience; we'll definitely be back.

11/01/2026: We stopped by chance for lunch. Excellent food, excellent service...excellent raw ham, and the spaghetti alla chitarra were truly delicious... And then last night...November 30, 2024...really excellent.

14/09/2025: A small deli with a few tables so you can grab a bite to eat near the beach without having to spend a fortune like you would at a beach resort. There's a gentleman who manages the tables only upon reservation and sets the table. Customers can easily browse the menu via QR code and then go inside to place their order. I chose a green lasagna, and I must say it was perfectly made. French fries cooked in a special oil, not mixed with fish oil. Mixed fried calamari or fish weighed by the kilo. Considering that a liter of water costs €2.20, I can tell you that the prices are quite low and fair. The portions of the lasagna and the pasta dish with fish were truly excellent. The counter was very clean. I was so happy I'll definitely be back.

01/02/2026: The experience started well and ended even better: We stayed in a very well-kept, clean, and welcoming room. On our way down, we had dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the menu and the wine list (we recommend their own Sangiovese), all accompanied by friendly, knowledgeable staff who paid attention to every detail. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and said goodbye to this location with the intention of returning soon.

23/01/2026: We've been several times and haven't been disappointed. The food is excellent, with plentiful and varied appetizers, high-quality traditional first courses, and remarkable second courses. Not to mention the friendly and helpful service, both on regular evenings and at the two events (my daughter's graduation party in July and my birthday in January) we had the pleasure of celebrating at Contea. Many thanks to Maurizio, Catia, and the rest of the staff.

13/02/2026: Genoa - Verona: We're late. I call and make a reservation, worrying about not being late again, because the kitchen, rightfully, has to close. The person on the phone is very kind. We arrive, the pasta is ready in a few minutes, delicious, and the service is kind and attentive. Will we return? Even every day. The prices, in my opinion, are good. I'm so happy to have arrived in Verona and leave with a satisfied belly. I almost forgot... the place is welcoming.

27/01/2026: I was in a hurry and ordered a takeout pizza: a half-meter, really delicious! I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very kind and smiling.

15/03/2026: FANTASTIC DINNER! A place that pampers you from the minute you walk in, greeting you and taking your coat from the cloakroom, until the last second when they return it and help you put it on. We had the tartare, which is seasoned and served at the table by the Maître d' (a delightful person) with 14 ingredients. We also had the culatello, a simple dish, but the quality of the ingredients is evident. Delicious food, and you can clearly see the expert hand of the chef. Service is prompt and impeccable: the table is cleared before dessert, and wine and water are served promptly. The cover charge includes a welcome entree, their very special breadsticks, a selection of homemade breads, and a small pastry. There are no restaurants in the area that offer this quality and service anymore.

16/02/2026: We had dinner at this very simple and quiet restaurant. The food was excellent; we tried traditional dishes (cappelletti with ragù and passatelli) and a rosemary schiacciata, all delicious. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the prices were moderate. We'll definitely be back.

18/01/2026: Serious errors: takeout pizzas with gluten were mistaken for gluten-free pizzas. After my son became ill, we called and they apologized over the phone, promising to fix it. However, once we returned, we were accused of being careless. To make matters worse, they made another mistake, delivering one gluten-free pizza and one with gluten. Unacceptable.

14/01/2026: Excellent quality products are used to prepare carefully prepared dishes. The staff is extremely kind and professional.

22/12/2025: Pseudo-chic atmosphere, very low lighting, very uncomfortable table and chairs. The staff is not welcoming and does not make you feel at ease, perhaps because it is a young place (perhaps) and I was with my seventy-year-old friends... the food is good, but the dishes struggled to fit on the table due to the limited space, and the dim lighting made it difficult to see what we were eating. We had to ask for table lamps, but the situation improved only slightly...

15/12/2025: A nice, alternative spot for aperitivo, with a somewhat unusual à la carte menu: a few unconventional but carefully crafted dishes. I recommend it. Tried it for Sunday brunch, but I wouldn't recommend it: few sweet options, nothing exceptional, small portions, and overpriced. Downside: The space (both the main restaurant and the outdoor terrace) is poorly heated.
