Despite being in Ravenna I wanted to try typically Roman foods: artichokes, broad bean pasta and pecorino... exceptional! I felt like I was in Rome. And the burrata and nettle ravioli were also really super, with an amazing scent of thyme The kindness of the girls who served us was the extra something Stunning square in front of the Arian baptistery illuminated by the warm lights of the street lamps made the atmosphere even more unique Highly recommended!

25/05/2024: I ordered fried fish skewers but they came out super super soggy and just a few pieces of fish it was really poorly cooked.

03/05/2024: Special place, very welcoming with dishes now rare to find, one for all the tripe.. In the summer, dining in the garden is enchanting, it doesn't even feel like being in Faenza. I recommend booking well in advance.

17/03/2024: We ate a wide range of the proposed menu, all the dishes served were excellent, the family service was warm and welcoming, the bill was fair and adequate for what we ate... the only flaw was the paper placemats, the beautiful checkered tablecloths shown in the photos on the site they would have made everything perfect.

20/05/2024: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, we ate a truly excellent pizza, I'm not a fan of Neapolitan pizza but I have to say this one made me change my mind.

18/05/2024: We came as Catholic. We ate divinely. The pizza was delicious, light and very digestible. All I had to do was search for the best pizzeria on Google and Pummà came up. Very friendly staff, very attentive and helpful. We will be back for sure. See you soon.

03/11/2023: A small piadineria located along the road that leads from the beaches to the Ravenna motorway junction. We stopped on the way back from the sea at around 9pm with the idea of ​​eating quickly in order to optimize the time for the return to Bologna. 4 family-run people work inside the small kiosk (2 adults and 2 children), with very specific tasks. It's a shame that in addition to the kindness of the welcome, they don't warn about the waiting time, which is really long or longer than expected. Basically, our dinner/piada stop lasted just over 1 hour (the same time it took them to get to Bologna) of which 5 minutes to order, about 45/50 minutes of waiting and the remainder to eat. The piadina was good, thick and with good ingredients, shame about the long and unannounced wait, given that we were in a nice place but with the burden of tiredness after a day at the beach. A piece of advice: it is best to warn customers of the wait. Average prices. Possibility to choose between many piadinas and more.

22/10/2023: Rovigo Ravenna by bike... it's a long way... I'm almost there... tired headwind... I see this place welcoming you to the right of the cycle path... I stop... an excellent beer... delicious piadina and courtesy. ..I set off refreshed and happy to have given myself an excellent break

02/05/2024: The first courses were cooked first and kept lukewarm, I don't know if they were inside the oven or under a lamp, they couldn't be eaten... medium starters, poor second courses (not a quality portion) At least a very beautiful location, certainly more so in summer.

21/09/2023: Frequentavo spesso questo ristorante, in caduta libera dalla scorsa estate. Questa è l’ultima volta che mi vedono: cibo scarso, servizio pessimo e conto alto. Eravamo una tavolata e avevamo concordato un menu per facilitarli, ma sono riusciti a portare i calici a metà tavolo dopo aver già portato le bottiglie di vino. Spiedini di seppia immangiabili, sembravano di gomma, in uno ho trovato un capello e, dopo averlo segnalato, mi hanno portato il piatto nuovo dopo una vita.. peccato sapesse di carne (non avevano si vede cambiato la griglia). Si salvava solo il fritto, difficile da sbagliare (più verdura che pesce), gli strozzapreti erano molli, da servire in ospedale. Camerieri poco cortesi e lentissimi. I 45 euro peggio spesi dell’estate, mai più.

07/05/2024: Historic restaurant in the center of Faenza, excellent spaghetti, I've tried them all, I always go there with my friends! kind and friendly staff, all very young and with a great desire to work, gigantic portions and excellent prices highly recommended! it's even open at night! Seeing is believing!

03/04/2024: It was my Birthday and I was Turning 33! After a Huge Easter Sunday Gathering the Weekend Prior with Lots of Curry I thought it would be a Good Idea to Celebrate with a Different Cuisine for a Change. Since Grandad loves to Enjoy a Good Italian whilst he is down from Yorkshire I decided I Would Combine the Two and Have a Delicious Italian Birthday Treat, Anyhow I do enjoy my Italian Favourites too. I Arrived at the Restaurant First and as it was Raining I stepped inside to Take my Seat and Instantly took in the Cosy Surroundings with some Pre Photography before the Calvary arrived! Soon After Grandad, Mum and Dad arrived. Unfortunately Sarah was "Nursing" Granny at her Flat after her Cataract Appointment so they were unable to join us. Grandad and Dad then Proceeded to Look at the Menu even though they have been to eat here many times prior (They Cater for Mum's Gluten free), but it was my First Time here even though I'm local. The Atmosphere was Cosy, with Dimmable Warm Lighting that was Reduced throughout the Evening to Create a Cosy Intimate Feel. The Playlist was A Mix of 70s and 80s Disco and Pop with some 90s Whitney Surrounded by the Bee Gees and The Tramps Disco Intherno which appealed greatly to my Eclectic Taste in Music 🙂. We were Practically the Only Diners in the Restaurant apart from Two Blokes who sat outside in the Cold so they could Smoke. For My Starter I Settled on Breaded Goats Cheese - Thick slice of goat's cheese, deep fried in Panko breadcrumbs. Drizzled with honey & served with a sweet tomato relish Once I Enjoyed my Starter Grandad partaked in Conversation on "Today's News" and then it was time to Settle on to our Mains. Me and Grandad Had: Vitello Saltimbocca alla Romana - Veal topside with Parma ham cooked in a pan with demi-glace butter and sage. Served with green beans & mashed potatoes Mum had Using Gluten free Breadcrumbs she had bought with her: Vitello Milanese - Veal topside, pan -fried in flour, egg & panko breadcrumbs. Served with Spaghetti in our homemade tomato & Bolognese sauce. Dad had: 9oz Ribeye Steak & Chips - 28 days matured, cooked how you like and topped with garlic butter. Served with French fries and 1/2 grilled tomato To Drink I had 7 Up Zero, Dad a Diet Coke, Grandad a House Wine and Mum a Rosé, all washed down with Water. Once We had had Finished our Delicious Main Course some of us Ordered Dessert with Dad having a Lemon Sorbet. Along with the Desserts Came the Climax! 🤣🤣....... My Birthday 🎂 Cake Accompanied by 3 Fiery Sparklers, Modern Happy Birthday Tune on the Sound System, along with Very Enthusiastic Singing from the Head Female Restauranteur and her Team accompanied by Clapping! It was such a Fun, Relaxed Cheery Atmosphere!! 🙂🙂. The Cake was a Simple Gluten free (for Mum) Waitrose Sponge and I was served Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream to go with the cake, (even though I had selected a Dessert to have from the Menu Online prior to the Evening! - I will just have to come back for it. What a Fun Chilled Lively Atmosphere was Had throughout the Evening! - The Female Head Restauranteur was Singing to Whitney's, I Want to Dance with Somebody, Whopping and All Cheerful and Happy 😊. Actually the Restaurant has Live Singers and Tribute Acts on Certain Thursdays and Fridays throughout each Month with the highlight being an Elvis Tribute Act coming up soon! So the Fun Chilled Family Relaxed Atmosphere is Part of the Ethos of Restaurant which is Nice. Very Homely 🙂. ....... And So What an Evening!! 🤣. An Enjoyable "Low Key" Affair. I Must Go Back for More especially as I'm Local. PS: Grandad Celebrated his 90th Birthday here as part of his Celebrations and he was Treated to Birthday Singing too. 🎂 - 🇮🇹 🍴 --- Normally Bring Your Own Birthday Cake is Not Allowed but they made an Exception as the Cake was already handed in without the Head Restauranteur realising ---
