28/06/2025: It is unusual to find such a valid and appetizing cuisine in an insignificant place seen from the outside! The dishes are never banal and very valid, with special mention for the passatelli with guinea fowl and the cappelletti with almonds, as well as for all the desserts. The owner, who also works as waiter and cashier, overwhelms you with surprises, from the robiola and vegetable entree to the various crumbles at the end of the meal, from the bread to the homemade and truly exquisite breadsticks (in short, the cover charge is amply repaid and the "freebies" justify the slightly high prices of some courses (pinzimonio € 10 ...). The wine selection is limited but valid, the environment is intimate and a little noisy, the service excellent but necessarily slow since one person does everything by himself! Come without rushing and enjoy the various courses, truly worthy!

14/07/2025: Location indiscutibilmente bella, soprattutto d'estate..A mio avviso troppo piena , bastavano meno accessori, che comunque sono di gusto. I pergolati , sotto i quali si mangia sono magnifici. Il servizio e' veloce ed abbastanza attento, il cibo..si buono, ma avevo mangiato meglio due anni fa in inverno. Prezzi e quantita' adeguati.

19/05/2025: The owner, Polish, is a wonderful woman. After a nice conversation we got dishes slightly different from the menu but adapted to us. Everything was delicious, the service absolutely outstanding. Nothing but visit!!

14/06/2025: A very large place with various rooms so no particular seating problems even for large tables. The nicest room, in my opinion, is the entrance room as there are brick walls. The menu is also very varied with a particular preference for the pizzeria where the choice is pleasantly embarrassing for how many products there are including sandwiches. In my experience, I have to say that appetizers, pizza, meat (I'm a fillet fan) are extremely excellent. A positive thing is that the meat second courses generally include a second course of baked potatoes which doesn't hurt (consider that the price of the potato side dish itself is 5 euros so taking it away from a cost of 16 euros for the grilled meat and 22 for the grilled fillet the prices are 👍. Kind, friendly and professional staff. The waiting times for what was ordered I have to say are normal even when I noticed a good presence of customers. Closing my evaluation, in terms of expense and quality, definitely highly recommended and I will undoubtedly return.

03/06/2025: I went a few days ago to try the famous pizza that won among the restaurants in Ravenna and honestly I was disappointed, maybe they boasted about it too much, the pizza at Mascottino or Vecchia Napoli is much better...there is no comparison. Staff and atmosphere nothing to say, very hospitable, but the pizza was nothing special, undercooked on one side, I expected much more. Then later I learned from friends that even in Ravenna it was nothing special and honestly I will not try to go there.

27/06/2025: I ordered a crescione with pumpkin, potatoes, mozzarella and sausage, paying for the addition of extra sausage because the latter was not included in the crescione I had chosen, to end up having only a crescione with potatoes and mozzarella... Total disappointment and mockery, absolutely not recommended, the worst piadina shop I have ever tried in Emilia Romagna.

18/06/2025: Sono stato all’Alexander di Ravenna un sabato sera, alla ricerca di una location particolare… e l’ho trovata! Il ristorante si trova in un luogo davvero insolito e suggestivo: un’ex chiesa, poi diventata cinema a luci rosse, oggi trasformata in un ristorante elegante e dall’atmosfera unica. Ho scelto il menù degustazione di pesce (58 €) e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Ogni piatto è stato curato nei dettagli, con sapori decisi e ben armonizzati. Le capesante crude, servite in modo creativo, sono state eccezionali. Ottimo anche il dessert, davvero piacevole. L’unico piatto leggermente sotto le aspettative è stato il tagliolino all’astice, dove l’astice era un po’ coperto da altri sapori più intensi, ma nel complesso tutto è stato di alto livello. Servizio attento, cortese e veloce, senza mai risultare invadente. Tornerò sicuramente per provare il menù di carne. Un’esperienza da consigliare sia per la cucina che per l’atmosfera!

21/06/2025: We don't know if Punta Marina or Cristallo came first, but this place is certainly a real institution for those who live here. The proximity to the sea allows chefs to have fresh fish every day and let's face it... Those who work by the sea almost always have something more to tell. The restaurant is located just a few steps from the sea and has a small veranda for those who want to order take-away or eat very quickly and without frills at the tables outside - as we did. The smell of frying, the sound of peacocks singing above our heads, the fresh breeze and the sun gave us a special atmosphere. We ordered: 😋 - Seafood salad: with an unmistakable seafood flavor, fresh with a light citrus note, it opened the dance in a sensational way. The use of cooked vegetables such as courgette is also particular. - Risotto alla marinara: no, risotto a little overcooked and tomato a little sweetish. Full of little fish but the cooking of the rice needs to be reviewed. - Mixed skewers: two of shrimp and two of cuttlefish. Very tasty, good, full of meat, they filled the mouth. The tender and tasty consistency of the fish blended harmoniously with the crunchy and delicate taste of the breading. In conclusion we can say that after having taken a tour of the seaside baths, having tasted dishes with the feet on different beaches, having paid different bills, this is the one that won (for now) among those we have tried. (many we have not had the courage to post) The quality/price ratio was right, the portions of the appropriate size and the timing quick, also kind and helpful the lady behind the counter.
