02/03/2026: Right across from the station, it has an outdoor veranda; we ate in the first-floor dining room.
The service was courteous and impeccable; they helped my wife, who has some food intolerances, choose from several options. We were both very satisfied (grilled mutton with grilled vegetables and passatelli with fossa cheese and truffle, both excellent). The only flaw was the house wine (the only option, 350ml), which wasn't to my taste.
The price was fair for the amount served, and, I repeat, the service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
22/02/2026: We were passing through and stumbled upon this place. It's a very cute and well-kept place. We had the agnolotti, and they were delicious. Congratulations on the welcome. It's true that Romagna hospitality is the best.

14/02/2026: We went for Valentine's Day. I saw a very inviting mini cake for two and asked what was inside. They didn't tell me it contained liqueur, so without batting an eye, I kept it, let my husband eat it all, and then got another sweet. When it came to the bill, I expected a discount. 1 spritz, 1 large ginseng, the mini cake (for two), and this heart-shaped sweet: €20 with a 20-cent discount. The spritz didn't have any appetizers. It could have been better managed. But they were polite and apologized. This isn't a criticism, but rather an incentive to improve for next time.
01/02/2026: The quality has declined over the course of a couple of years: you can see it in the simpler dishes, which aren't as good as they were a couple of years ago. A special mention goes to the red-haired lady serving: I highly recommend she change jobs. Leaving aside the fact that she's incompetent and arrogant, this is the second time we've arrived at the restaurant, after having booked, and she's found an excuse outside to not honor our reservation. After accepting a fallback table, around 6:25 PM we ask for the restaurant menu, and she again gives us another classy jab, annoyed, stating, "The kitchen opens at 6:45 PM!" For 20 minutes, you can't say "restaurant menu" inside the restaurant, or she'll get angry. The icing on the cake: when she comes to take our order, she does so with her mouth full and muttering. In short, it would be funny if we didn't have to pay at the end. It'll be a while before I return, hoping the kitchen mends its ways and the aforementioned woman changes jobs.
In response to the comment from what appears to be the owner: take a deep breath of humility. Even though the service was TERRIBLE, the waitress was respected by everyone at the table. And also, keep an eye on the dishes that come out.

14/02/2026: Beautiful place. Very good food. Friendly staff. The village is very, very pretty and doesn't hurt as a setting. A little pricey? Maybe. But it still deserves 5 stars. Desserts worth revisiting.
12/02/2026: Lured by the numerous positive reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, our expectations were dashed. The welcome was as cold as a cave-like environment. As soon as we entered, we were hit by a strong, musty odor that was truly unpleasant for a restaurant, far from welcoming.
We ate in the dark and cold throughout the meal, despite having pointed out to the waitress that they could have seated us in the warmer, brighter mezzanine area upstairs, but she simply replied that when there are few people, that room is closed to guests.
The table setting was sparse and inadequate for a place where they charge a whopping €4 for a cover without a tablecloth and using unhygienic and unsightly PVC placemats instead.
Let's move on to the dishes... first, we were served an entrée consisting of a chickpea soup with sunflower seeds. I didn't understand the pairing, but let's move on. We ordered two appetizers, a platter of cured meats and cheeses, plus a cheese tasting with fruit compote and honey, which were simply thrown on the table without any explanation... a blind tasting experience that detracted from the importance of the dish, which we later discovered, upon request, was made with local, homemade products. In short, a missed opportunity to justify the €19 price tag.
Next, we ordered passatelli with cheese fondue and truffle and the venison skewer... passatelli neither good nor bad, especially since the latter were decidedly bland, but the worst was undoubtedly the skewer made of meat boiled on the outside and raw on the inside. It was almost impossible to swallow, so we left it halfway through. I wonder, how can you present a dish as a skewer when there isn't even the slightest bit of browning on the outside, which would be the result of grilling or grilling, as befits a meat skewer? If it had been well-cooked on the outside, one could even justify and perhaps appreciate the raw meat inside (which, from what we were told, is the chef's choice). I should point out that if you intend to serve raw or undercooked meat, it must be thoroughly cleaned of sinews and strings, which, when uncooked, become an inchewable morsel that's hard to swallow. The dish was accompanied by flavorless pan-fried spinach and a sauce, I presume berry-based, which also had no flavor other than the sweetness of the sugar. In short, the idea was there, but the execution of the dish was completely lacking.
After the meal, we didn't even stop for coffee, deterred by the cold of the place and the total lack of warmth on the plates and the service, which was listless and inadequate.
This restaurant's presentation refers to traditional Romagna cuisine, and nothing could be further from the truth, even allowing for the mitigating factors of revisiting dishes. The quality-price ratio is absolutely not in line.
It's unfortunate to have to leave such a negative review, but with all due respect, we found nothing positive about our experience here. It's a real shame considering the miles we traveled and the day we've had to spend.

08/03/2026: I returned to Ristorante Ai Dossi after the recent change of management, and it was my first time there since. I must say that the quality has remained decidedly high, which is far from a given.
We started with an excellent gnocco fritto, truly well-made: light, fragrant, and perfect with cured meats. The seafood risotto was also very good, balanced and rich in flavor. The beef fillet was excellent, made with high-quality meat and cooked to perfection.
To conclude, a truly delicious mascarpone, prepared as it should be. The wine list is also noteworthy, with a good selection that makes it easy to find the perfect pairing.
Kudos also to the staff: very attentive, precise, and friendly, capable of putting you at ease and providing service with great professionalism.
Overall, a very positive experience: the change of management has not diminished the restaurant's identity, which continues to maintain a high standard. I will definitely be back.

07/12/2025: Arriving from Novara on an April evening reminiscent of December, we stopped at this kiosk where we were refreshed by the warmth of the two owners, who delighted us with what we considered to be the best piadina in Romagna...
And let's not even talk about the crescione!!

After more than a year, we can confirm everything, and I'll add that they are wonderful people.
The products are always top-notch.

02/12/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us by our neighbors. I went to eat here with my whole family (7 people) and we were very happy with the service, food, and atmosphere. They have fish and meat menus, and they also do pizza. Everything was excellent.

16/02/2026: Self-service restaurant on the highway, always crowded with workers and passing customers. A casual and noisy atmosphere, obviously. Service is limited to cleaning and serving at the counters, which are otherwise tidy. Prices are average.
NOTE: The Stick large fried fish and vegetables offer excellent value, but it's quite large; it's best to share it with two. 🤭

22/12/2025: It's a bar I often frequent for breakfast or a mid-morning snack: the staff is truly friendly and never fails to make you feel how much they care about their work and their establishment. As for the food and drinks I consume, as I mentioned, it's usually breakfast—coffee, cappuccino, and various pastries—and I can honestly say they're all top-quality.
21/11/2025: Good coffee, superior service, very kind staff, I stopped going there because of the bad smell inside which soaks your clothes, once you leave you take the smell of the bar with you
