05/05/2026: They are now friends, compliments to the staff, you always leave satisfied, a spartan place suitable for all tastes, food (we are talking about grilled Argentine meat) excellent to try, I recommend it, I go with a group of friends, I even celebrated a stag party... Enough now, I'll leave it to you to discover it

30/04/2026: Beautiful place, easy to find, with plenty of parking, 100% high-quality Argentine beef. They carry various types of meat 🥩 that almost fill you up and you still can't finish 🤣, and then there's a beautiful macaw parrot that keeps you company with its calls. In the dining room, they dance Texan-style. The atmosphere is all about horse equipment and Texan-style architecture. It feels like a modern saloon.

02/12/2025: Swiss prices for a pizza that I didn't find better than others, and where you also don't feel hungry again after 1 hour... definitely overrated

16/11/2025: The pizza dough is different from the usual, but very good and light; the "Uncle Husband" with cream is also worth a try. Definitely worth a try.

25/04/2026: I went for lunch. We ate in the outdoor area, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. Excellent Piacenza food with a touch of Greek. Recommended.

16/02/2026: I had lunch today at this small, family-run agriturismo, which I found by chance on Google. What can I say? What a wonderful and delightful surprise! It overlooks a terrace with a breathtaking view of the Val Tidone hills. Excellent Greek-Piacenza cuisine, never tried before. The appetizers are numerous and divine. The plums with almonds inside, wrapped in pancetta, will make me dream about them at night. The first courses are typical of Piacenza, but cooked with a Greek twist. They're spectacular...the moussaka is truly delicious! Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the second courses because we were already full. But there's always room for dessert....they're heavenly too. All accompanied by a fantastic wine, both red and white! More than fair price! The owners are very friendly and welcoming, with their two golden retrievers running up to greet you ❤️... it feels like having lunch with family. A must-try, highly recommended! My partner and I will definitely be back 😃 Congratulations 👏🏻

10/05/2026: The meal was excellent, the lady was incredibly kind, the gentleman a little rough but very friendly. I don't know if I'll ever be back in those parts. I was coming from Friuli, heading for Genoa, but if I ever come back, I'll definitely stop by. I forgot: I spent really little! (By the way, I specifically exited the highway so as not to eat the reheated sandwiches from the grill.)

09/04/2026: The property is located in the historic center of Piacenza, exceptional both for the view from the terrace, 360 degrees from the restaurant, and for its central location to the square and the village. It has a private garage underneath, further enhancing its convenience. Despite its 4-star rating, we unfortunately encountered some inconveniences that we had considered when booking, as mentioned on the website: the relaxation area, which was closed without prior notice due to ongoing maintenance, and the lack of air conditioning in the room, as we were explained at reception that the heating system is centralized and cannot be adjusted to suit individual guests' needs. It's absurd to have 28 degrees in the room in April; we're not in a condominium but in a 4-star hotel. On the other hand, the suite is magnificent, with attention to detail, a large walk-in closet, a bathroom with a walk-in travertine shower, and very quiet despite overlooking the alleys of the historic center. The staff, both at reception and on the breakfast terrace, were professional, courteous, and efficient. A well-organized continental breakfast with ample space is served in the restaurant area, with express bar service at the tables. We respect our environmental sustainability policy, but this must not be detrimental to the guest or the cost of their stay, nor should it constitute a disservice.

21/05/2026: I've only been once for a workers' lunch. Given that I don't have all the tools to give an overall rating, I preferred to give an average rating until I return for an à la carte lunch. The staff's kindness and helpfulness are definitely a plus. They greeted me immediately and patiently even though I was close to closing time (I had a reservation), and they even accommodated another guest who arrived just as I was. The lunch offered a wide selection of first and second courses, along with a side dish buffet (remarkable lately; I hadn't seen one in a restaurant for ages). A la carte lunch is also available during the week (which I discovered after asking if they had homemade tortelli, which I will definitely try again). I ate well, and the price was in line with current averages. One thing I didn't really appreciate was the excessive amount of garlic in the arrabbiata (not very spicy). It's a strong flavor, and not everyone appreciates too much (unless it's garlic and oil), though overall I digested it without any problems... and it tasted good anyway; after the first few bites, I got used to it! It seems like a lively place, though, and it piqued my interest. I saw they also do pizza. There's also a small room with foosball and pinball for the kids, and a few tables outside. Plenty of parking.

06/04/2026: I was looking for a location for Easter Monday lunch and couldn't have found a better spot. A historic restaurant, just the way I like it: a few dishes, but all with a home-style flavor. Time stands still here. If you're looking for honest, no-frills Piacenza cuisine, Zingaro is the place to be.

24/05/2026: One of the most beautiful agriturismos I've ever stayed at, and above all, one of the most breathtaking views I've encountered on our many travels. Extraordinary staff, always with a smile. Delicious food and a well-stocked wine cellar.
