22/02/2026: Very good quality food and the owner is super friendly

08/02/2026: We had two glasses of wine and a platter of cured meats with fried gnocchi. Everything was exceptional: the salami was out of this world, the wine tasted delicious, and above all, the gentleman who served us was fantastic at recommending the perfect wine to go with the platter; he was truly down-to-earth and friendly. Needless to say, the place has a fairytale atmosphere that made the lunch truly perfect.

31/12/2025: The pizza is good but the fish is frozen from a pizzeria. 3 of us had 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 pizza, a good bottle (€35), a bottle of wine, a beer, coffee and a digestive 60 each. I don't know what the meat dishes are like, but the pizza is ok but avoid the fish.

17/02/2026: I have just one word to describe the food experience in this restaurant: "disgusting". The duck had a bitter flavour and it was like eating cardboard. The place was almost empty for dinner. No menu available, they bring what they call a "degustazione" menù of their choice. You can only choose whether it's seafood or beef. It only consists of two entries and left me with plenty of appetite for something more to eat, but not here. It's a shame that such a restaurant can operate in one of the most culinary renoun regions of Italy.

The focaccia is top-notch!

24/11/2025: Hi, I've been a customer of the ice cream maker for almost 3 years, unfortunately the prices go up every year and the quality goes down every year. A while ago I had a chocolate cake, I expected a real chocolate cake, so not the one they usually have. Then they didn't tell me that putting a name on it would cost me more, so I didn't say anything since it was an order already made. Then in the summer I was curious to try their granita, which wasn't really granita, it was crushed ice with colorant, since I'm used to eating real Sicilian granita. Unfortunately, my partner and I, because he also used to order things from there, will not go there again given the high prices and the low quality that left us disgusted.

07/09/2025: Visited my friend in the village and felt at home in this restaurant. The place, the food, the people, everything is great. It's authentic and delicious, 100% worth it and the best in the area.

15/03/2026: A wonderful evening with delicious food and good wine. The staff is attentive and friendly. The ambiance, with fireplaces in many rooms, is very beautiful. The only thing I would say to the owners is to have the chimney draft checked, because there's a bit too much smoke in the rooms.

18/10/2025: Today, during my ebike tour in the beautiful Valtidone Valley with friends, we stopped at the Al Mulino restaurant, intrigued by the excellent Google Maps reviews from the day before: an excellent choice, we couldn't have asked for better!! Excellent welcome, impeccable service, and delicious and plentiful local receipts!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We'll definitely be back.

16/12/2025: 1/5 ⭐️⭐️ I stopped for lunch and chose the à la carte menu to try some local specialties. I spent €25 for lunch during the week for a first course that I could describe as cafeteria-style. I also tried the desserts; I've never tasted tiramisu like this. I didn't like anything. Unfortunately, during lunch breaks during the week, I find restaurants that serve much better dishes for the same price. A real shame.

08/12/2025: Piacenza's rice mecca. A wide selection of delicious rice dishes, plus many new dishes that rotate on the monthly menu. The wines and cured meats are excellent. Must try: chocolate rice with savory sbrisolona and gorgonzola cheese. Owner Daniele and his staff are at your disposal... Enjoy your meal!

15/10/2025: An old-fashioned, impeccably kept place. The owner is a true gentleman of class, always courteous and meticulous. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that one day I had a problem at home, and some workers came by on an emergency basis, jokingly asking me for a couple of croissants. So the next morning, I went to the place to get three croissants to go, and they charged me for it. Rightfully so, the place, being small and well-kept, isn't stocked with large quantities of food (everything is always fresh), so there was a risk of not having anything else for future customers. I understand the dilemma, but having to make me weigh it down by repeating it several times in front of a couple of regulars... wasn't very nice. Otherwise, excellent overall.
