18/02/2026: A charming restaurant in the central Piazza del Castello. The location is stunning, right from the entrance (with its medieval sign). The restaurant is very bright and spacious, with huge windows overlooking the beautiful hilly landscape. We ate traditional Piacenza dishes, from cured meats to the first course (Pisarei beans). Herb ravioli and rose bread completed the menu. Impeccable service, extremely kind and precise. Fair prices.

28/01/2026: This is a belated posting which I felt compelled to write. On a cold winter’s day in mid Dec, we were treated to one of the most amazing dining experiences. Giovanni, thank you very very much to your professionalism, kindness and friendliness. The food was simple and yet fantastic. The setting with the view was truly splendid. Unforgettable. My best wishes to your continued success.

11/03/2026: It was a wonderful experience. We first had a consultation to understand my desires and how they could be achieved. Then, the cut began! At the end, they also explained how I could manage the new look with my own tools at home. It was my first time with them, so I also received a discount of about €20 (instead of €82, I paid €64). Super!

Jessica, with her professional and reliable advice, welcomed me as if I'd been a longtime customer...even though it was my first experience at this wonderful salon, especially since I was just passing through Piacenza...then Cristina, with her kindness, treated my hair divinely, creating a style that lasted forever (something impossible for me!) I'll be in Piacenza often and I'm so happy to have found a place where I can be pampered and treated with kindness... Highly recommended!

01/02/2026: In the small hamlet of Corano, not far from Piacenza, lies this delightful little restaurant. The warmth of hospitality is felt as soon as you arrive, continuing at the table. The restaurant offers aged cured meats, fresh homemade pasta, and artisanal desserts, as well as fish-based dishes and a wine list that ranges from Piacenza's finest to the finest Italian wines. Today, my favorites: a sampling of hot and cold vegetables along with traditional Piacenza DOP cured meats, eggs with white truffle (wonderful), and to finish, a shortcrust pastry tart with custard and warm strawberries shaded with rum!!! Everything was perfect... As always!!!! ♥️

22/02/2026: First time at this restaurant, we had a mixed appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, and desserts. I'm speechless: top-quality food, friendly staff, beautiful venue, and fast service despite the crowds. Perhaps the only downside is the price, a bit steep, but not that much considering the overall quality of this place. I'll definitely be back!!!

02/03/2026: Sunday, March 1st. Possibly the best in the area. We tried almost everything there. But yesterday, believe me, everything was fantastic. The ravioli in broth was amazing. The tagliatelle with wild boar ragù will move you to tears. The rabbit and guinea fowl were breathtaking. We'll be back soon to try other dishes. Highly recommended. Well done, well done, well done.

18/03/2026: Excellent raw materials, and the quality was clearly evident. The cured meats were served on a plate and were generally good; the culatello, in particular, was truly excellent. The prosciutto crudo was high-quality, but a large portion of the slice was made up of fat: out of a width of about five fingers, three were practically nothing but fat, which made it a bit heavy after a while. The cheese selection was very good. I wasn't entirely convinced by the Russian salad, however: I expected a stronger flavor, while the sauce that held it all together was a bit overwhelming after a while. As for the tortelli piacentini, I expected a more intense flavor, despite the added cheese, and they were probably also slightly overcooked, as they tended to fall apart even when picked up with a fork. The desserts, on the other hand, were excellent: the zuppa inglese was very good, rich in Alchermes as per tradition. The sbrisolona was also good; the zabaglione wasn't entirely my cup of tea, but it was still enjoyable.

15/03/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant. I had high expectations. But unfortunately, it was disappointing. There were 4 of us, we ordered a shared appetizer, and basically a plate arrived with: 4 slices of coppa. 4 of salami. 4 of pancetta, it looked like plastic, a small bowl of giardiniera and Russian salad = €60. Two dishes with grilled venison that required a magnifying glass for €28 CAD. Good tagliatelle. And good fried brain. And finally, the dessert, "zuppa inglese", was sickening for my taste. In the end, you either drink normal coffee or don't drink it because decaffeinated coffee doesn't exist, nor barley or anything else. I'm sorry, but the quality/price ratio is just not there.
