26/12/2024: On St. Stephen's Day, a walk in this beautiful village and we ended on a high note in this restaurant with a wonderful view of Piazza Visconti on one side and the valley with its vineyards on the other. We had a superb meal, served by a really smart guy who loves his job

03/01/2025: When word of mouth is really useful! Recommended by a dear friend, we had dinner at this restaurant. Rich menu based mainly on fish and a wide selection of strictly Sicilian wines. You can savor the experience and care of the family that carries on the tradition without forgetting the importance of innovation! Dessert menu that looks like a storybook... not to be missed! Highly recommended!!!

The menu choice also included vegetarian dishes, as well as meat and fish. Excellent quality for all courses. Balanced portions. Superior quality wines. Prices not popular but adequate for the offer.

21/12/2024: Dinner at the hotel restaurant for four people: me, my wife and two daughters under two years old. The epilogue of a nightmare evening: after an hour and a half of long waits and raw dishes we get up and leave reluctantly. It is never pleasant to leave halfway through dinner and you think about it 100 times before raising a fuss, however it is possible to tolerate and justify inefficiency in evenings with many seats and little time... tonight there were perhaps 5 families in the room. In addition we benefited from the stadium chants that came from the kitchen, with tones and themes decidedly not in line with the supposed elegance of the place. The only positive note was the present and courteous service. For the rest "Nightmare kitchens Caorso edition".

06/01/2025: We randomly came across this charming restaurant during a weekend in the area, on our way back to Cremona, attracted by the already excellent reviews and we literally found what has immediately become one of our favorite restaurants! The place is simply wonderful: the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, very pleasant and really gives a splendid feeling of well-being throughout the entire stay. It winds through a main room, an upper mezzanine floor and an external veranda: in fact, although it seems rather intimate from the outside, inside it reveals all the places it can accommodate. Seasoning everything with an even more pinch of 'magic' are certainly the wonderful Christmas decorations, which warm the eyes and the environment even more, together with the exposed red bricks, the warm woods and the delightful vintage furnishings. Having arrived a little late and not having booked, we were asked to wait for a table to become free but not having any rush given the holiday weekend, we decided to be a little patient, as we were immediately won over by the colours. and cooking scents. In the meantime, we were served an aperitif (which was later offered to us by the staff for their patience, truly of great kindness and friendliness!) which gave us a foretaste of what would have been an excellent lunch: excellent prosecco and fabulous canapés ! Then we were able to sit upstairs, enjoying the view of the interior room, and we ordered. The proposed menu is truly rich and varied: all traditional dishes from Piacenza/Cremona but with a nod to more contemporary tastes! We tasted: the coppa-only platter accompanied by spring onions, the roast duck and the pork coppa with purée, pumpkin and roasted spring onions, a green sauce and capers. We loved everything! Each product is very fresh, fragrant, tasty and appetizing, as well as perfectly balanced with every spice and salt! Real mouth-watering delicacies! My pork neck was sublime, I really liked it and his vegetables were delicious! With the green sauce and capers then acting as a binder to everything... wonderful! The duck was equally appreciated: crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside! Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, but the list here too is quite extensive and the desserts offered are a true wonder for both the eyes and the palate, seeing those of the tables around. But we were still not left without a sweet treat to end the meal, in fact, panettone is also automatically served together with the coffee, now that it's the season and that too is really excellent! I also want to make a mention of the amaro which I absolutely recommend: limoncello! A generous dose but above all with an icy, rich texture, together with an exquisite distillate in itself! A worthy conclusion to an exquisite lunch. The service was always very professional, courteous, polite and affable, I would like to thank you again for your kindness and courtesy regarding the aperitif. However, all the waiters are very quick and always make sure that everything is pleasant and that the experience is the best possible. The quality/price ratio is excellent, considering the venue and the quality of the products and dishes presented here. We will definitely return, booking in advance, and if you are in the area... well, this restaurant is a real gem that you just can't miss!

18/12/2024: Very hospitable, comfortable and good-natured environment (in a positive sense) It recalls the taverns "of the past". Delicious, genuine and simple food without overdoing it. Prices lower than average. Really satisfied, if you are in the area and want to eat and drink well while spending a "light" evening this is certainly one of the best places in Piacenza.

07/12/2024: I went to this wine shop for dinner following the advice of a friend. There were five of us and we all had a great time, the environment is simple but welcoming, like a real home. The waiter's impeccable explanation of the various culinary proposals (explained with punctuality and professionalism), the plating and serving of the dishes. Genuine flavours, high quality food and wine. Truly a unique experience!

21/11/2024: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante per la prima volta e ho mangiato bene. Buono l'antipasto con ottimi salumi e un'ottima insalata russa; tortelli piacentini e chicche al gorgonzola, davvero gustose. Non perdete la torta di ricotta e pere, davvero favolosa!! Il locale è semplice e il personale cordiale. Ci ritornerò!
