Three of us went there on Sunday, April 26th. The food was excellent. Everything was traditional Piacenza, authentic, and homemade. The service was good. Precise, courteous, and fast. It's a shame about the atmosphere! The dining room where we ate was truly ugly. A rectangular room with no outside view, with about twenty tables lined up like a cafeteria. Excellent value, however.
I would return just for the good food.

A highly renowned restaurant for its cured meats, bortellina, and Piacenza dishes in a very welcoming atmosphere, perfect even for large tables. The desserts were also very good (I also recommend the guinea fowl).
Our waiter was very kind.
The bill was fair.

The recommended wine was not suitable for the proposed menu, the salami served after the appetizer was so hard that it was inedible, the pisarei were too seasoned... in short, a cuisine that does not deserve the Slow Food snail.

Last night we had dinner at Da Faccini. We called in the late afternoon and, fortunately, managed to secure a table. It's an excellent restaurant at the entrance to Castell'Arquato: a truly exceptional experience, with an absolutely balanced quality/price ratio. Carefully prepared, tasty dishes made with top-quality ingredients.

We started with seasonal cured meats and culatello with mixed cheeses... and from there, you can already tell the quality of the ingredients used.
Next, guinea fowl alla clay (a signature dish of the restaurant): this really takes things to the next level... something special, truly delicious. We finished with desserts, which were also very good and well-executed.
I highly recommend stopping by if you're passing through the area: it's definitely worth it, both for the quality, the service, and the very fair prices for what's on offer.

Delicious food and exceptional quality for a restaurant where you can savor the local delicacies, from food to wine.
The carrot gnocchi are delicious, but the braised beef is even better!
Zabaione with sbrisolona to round out the experience.
