08/03/2026: On March 8th, while strolling along Via Repubblica in Parma, I passed the window of this renowned Pasticceria Cocconi. I was drawn to the mimosa cakes and the mini/single-serving tarts, and decided to go in. The mimosa cakes ranged in price from €21 to €35, while the single-serving tarts were unpriced, but I decided to opt for four single-serving tarts anyway. The tart was very good, sweet but not cloying, the cream was light, and the presentation was meticulously crafted. But honestly, €7 each, for a total of €28 for four tarts, seemed excessive. Unfortunately, I wasn't expecting that price, and partly out of shyness, I didn't ask the price of each tart first, which was a mistake! One last thing: the lady who served me was a bit rude and annoyed, and she put the package on another shelf, as if to point out that I was wasting time putting away the rest. Well...

25/02/2026: Great for a break while strolling through Parma's city center. A selection of pastries and savory treats. For those who love chocolate, they also offer a selection of various shapes to eat in or take away. Very efficient and friendly service.

02/03/2026: Too bad...we've known this restaurant for years. The menu is still the same, but it's not as good as it used to be. Cured meats, NO COMMENT, very thick tortelli. The only good thing is the semifreddo...which they don't make...sorry!

03/01/2026: A quaint, timeless trattoria in the Parma Apennines, just a few kilometers from the famous Bardi Castle. A colorful and original atmosphere, authentic and delicious food (we had a fantastic torta fritta accompanied by a platter of local cured meats, homemade herb ravioli, and delicious loin and fried porcini mushrooms). Excellent value for money. Paola and Carmela welcomed us with love and kindness, making us feel at home right away. Thank you so much, we'll be back soon 🫶🏻 Susy and Dani

11/03/2026: The restaurant was actually closed, but I was let in anyway to grab a bite to eat; super friendly people, will come back here more often! The food was prepared hot on the spot and tasted great. Definitely worth repeating.

06/11/2025: I think the stars should be given in proportion to the restaurant's target audience. The atmosphere is clean, albeit old-fashioned. We ate well and paid very well for the service provided. Kudos to the entire team, and ignore the reviews of those who think they're getting a Michelin-starred meal in an exclusive setting for €12! The menu for a business lunch without too many pretensions is a 5-star rating. Well done!!!

13/01/2026: The pizza is good, and the service is also good, although the staff is sometimes unfriendly. What could be improved is the space: it's very small and could use a more welcoming atmosphere.

03/01/2026: Other times I've had a decent experience, but the last two times have been a terrible experience. We booked, and because we were 20 minutes late, they gave away our table even though they had our number to call us and the place was empty. The second time, we booked and arrived on time, but the table wasn't available because "it was supposed to be there but the guys didn't leave," so they put seven of us at a table for three, perfect. The music was so loud you couldn't hear anything. Very unfriendly staff.

26/12/2025: Very good pizza. Recently they made fried polenta as a winter dish. I really liked it.

24/10/2025: The set menu costs 12 euros. But the portions are tiny and starving. These portions aren't even enough for an 8-year-old. I'll never come back.

17/03/2026: First, the waitress moved us from a table for four to a table for two. Even though the room was empty 😅 Then she asked us to pay before we'd even eaten, even though we were already seated at the table and with dirty hands: how could we continue eating? It wasn't very tactful. She could have waited. And then, why does the price increase for each dish she brings to our table? Why have all the dishes on the menu become 30% more expensive? I don't recommend this place.

31/10/2025: Quite dilapidated, maintenance seems to have stopped for 15 years...

20/10/2025: We stayed in this hotel for one night. The rooms aren't four-star; they smell musty and are dirty. The service is nonexistent. We were cold, the heating was off, and after much insistence, they brought us single, very old and worn wool blankets. We also, and I must say, unfortunately, had dinner... There was little choice, and the dishes they brought us were very meager and cold. They were probably pre-cooked and frozen dishes, the ravioli definitely frozen. The four-sautéed pasta dishes are better. Later, I asked for two coffees to be brought to my room along with the restaurant bill, and I had to wait half an hour. On Sundays, they serve breakfast an hour later; I needed breakfast at 6:30, but they told me it wasn't possible and didn't even deduct it from my bill. A truly terrible experience.

07/12/2025: As soon as I entered the bar, a woman with unpleasant appearance and mannerisms approached me. She seemed annoyed by my polite request for a coffee, as she barely disguisedly implied that she had no time to waste and that I should hurry up and pay. After paying for my drink, I politely asked her where the restroom was. The curt and annoyed reply was that there were already 15 people there and therefore the restroom was full. The worst I could do was wait. With that, she walked away, leaving me standing there at the bar without explaining where the restroom was.

19/10/2025: A restaurant that is nothing special, the furnishings are the same, we went on a Saturday, it was on the road, my son asked for mayonnaise, the answer was dry, there is none, next time I will look for another one
