Trattoria Gatto Gambarone In Fidenza

I went to this trattoria because my friends had already booked it. I can say that the food is very good. One detail to improve is the timing of the dishes; we waited almost an hour from the antipasto to the first course.

Delicious dinner with excellent quality ingredients. Pasquale is a welcoming and very friendly host. Maria, the head waiter, is impeccable and professional. Kudos to the team as well.

A wonderful experience. We hadn't booked. When we arrived, the owner told us they were closed but that if we'd complied, he'd feed us. We ate and drank very well. After other guests left, the owner kept us company, telling us the story of the place he was renovating. The excellent chef improvised a delicious lunch featuring porcini mushrooms. He also kept us company until 6:00 PM. The desserts were also worth it. We finally booked. The sleeping area is still being finished, but it's clean and very tastefully furnished, and the exposed wooden beams are a real sight. The place is surrounded by greenery and also has a beautiful, large park area (a few more tables in the garden would be nice). What can I say? It's worth a trip. I'll definitely be back, even if it's 900 km from home. Congratulations to all the staff. This is how catering should be. Make me feel at home and not like a paying guest. Beautiful, newly renovated location. The culatello is very good, the pasta dishes are excellent, and the sbrisolona with zabaglione cream is fabulous. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is quiet. Recommended.

We had lunch at this restaurant today. The menu and service were excellent. The staff, including the owners, were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. We had a great time. The food was good value for money. It's a convenient place to get to from the city, nestled in the countryside. I highly recommend it, and I'd be happy to return if I ever get the chance.

A hidden gem where homemade quality is paramount. During our 10-day road trip through Italy, this place was by far the best local food we found. Much higher quality than more expensive Michelin-rated restaurants in the bigger cities. The charming owner embodies the soul of this restaurant. I don't normally write reviews, but a little encouragement for such small, top-notch establishments can go a long way. Until next time!
