18/11/2024: Among the best bakeries in Parma. I am a gastronome-nutritionist and I care a lot about the quality of the products I bring to the table. I love bread and consume it in moderation, mainly for breakfast, but on one condition: that it respects my quality criteria; that is, certified local flours, not very refined, sourdough, long leavening, little salt and ideal cooking (no burnt due to the genotoxic compounds that forced cooking releases). Having made this long premise, I have chosen Alvè for two years now for the professionalism they put into their work. Their bread ticks all my boxes and I highly recommend you try it. It is fragrant, keeps for a long time and gives off an unmistakable scent. All distinctive characteristics of a sourdough leavened bread. I often always want to underline (to those who recommend it) that the microbial activity and the metabolites coming from the secondary metabolism of microorganisms not only improve the nutritional properties of the product, but also the organoleptic ones. In simple terms, it is an easily digestible bread, which does not cause abdominal swelling (I toast it lightly) and is very filling, with the same weight as other commercial breads (also due to the high fiber content). 15/12/2024: The place is really poorly maintained but we decided to eat in this restaurant anyway based on the nice reviews. Unfortunately we had to trust our first impression instead. Salty food, served with little attention to hygiene. Be careful of the prices because those found on the Internet are lower than those that actually are. For example, fried mushrooms were 17 euros.

02/11/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo un mezzogiorno. Abbiamo aspettato un'eternità per mangiare un po' di affettato e dei ravioli freddi, rimasti probabilmente sul bancone in cucina in attesa. Si erano dimenticati. Alla richiesta fatta al cameriere di verificare come mai erano stati serviti ospiti arrivati molto dopo di noi, la risposta era sempre che non sapeva perché lui faceva il cameriere e non era in cucina. Servizio davvero scadente.

11/03/2025: I bought the birthday cake here for my mother, who eats gluten-free. It presented very well visually whilst clearly being handcrafted. It was a fairly simple cake in terms of recipe, cocoa sponge cake with two layers of cream, one pistachio and one chocolate, covered in cream and decorated with personalized writing. Much to the surprise of all of us who ate it, the cake was delicious, considering it is gluten and lactose free, it is one of the best bought-out cakes we have ever eaten. Balanced in taste, not too sugary and light. A marvel, and the correct price. I ended up here by mistake because I thought I was coming from Al Caruso, well... it was one of the best mistakes of my life :) I'll be back soon for my birthday to do an encore.

19/11/2024: Two weeks ago I ordered a cake (example photo above) the day before collection they sent me a photo of the finished cake (photo below) as you can clearly see the writing is not centered and the letters are all smudged. I later asked if it was possible to fix it as soon as the photo was sent to me without receiving any response, consequently I asked to remove them completely since it is unacceptable for a pastry shop to deliver such a product, especially for an important occasion. I went to the pastry shop to collect it and the staff was not cooperative towards me. They patronized me as if I had no reason to complain. I took up the review made by another customer and saw myself in what he wrote.

02/03/2025: Domenica a pranzo. Culatello salato oco stagionato, troppo grasso. Patate arrosto bruciacchiata. Spaghetti alle vongole stracotto con un sugo troppo dolce e cremoso, vongole poco buone. Datemi un caffè che me ne vado via subito......

15/04/2025: Was here with my family on a weekday. The menu was very limited and the restaurant was full of workers eating menu fisso. The quality of the food was good but the limited selection was a drawback. The dessert menu was full and of great quality.

16/02/2025: TO AVOID! We ordered appetizers for which we waited 15/20 minutes and then the first courses, that is tagliolini with meat sauce and spaghetti with parmesan and ham for which we waited about (and I'm not exaggerating) an hour and a half. I underline that the long times in the kitchen were not communicated to us in any way before we sat down. Worst point, the fact that no one ever stopped by to apologize or explain the situation. I would like to say that with this long wait we ate well but unfortunately the food was decidedly below average, poorly cooked, the pasta was overcooked and tasteless.

24/01/2025: Andiamo in questo locale il giorno di Sant'Ilario, locale deserto, come tutta Parma d'altronde. Chiediamo qualcosa da bere dopo una giornata di lavoro, quindi ordiniamo birra e cocktail. Chiediamo se fosse possibile avere qualcosa da mangiare come accompagnamento, ma il cameriere ci guarda come se avessimo chiesto il fondo cassa e ci risponde NO. Dopo pochi minuti lo stesso cameriere torna e ci spegne anche la lampada riscaldante posta fuori.

03/01/2025: Ristorante carino, in pieno centro città, ampio all'interno, si mangia bene al prezzo giusto. Ampiamente consigliato

Da allora sono passati 30 minuti da che potessimo pagare ed andare , silurati con un semplice scusate per l’attesa … 30 minuti Solo PER PAGARE IL CONTO ??? in un Ristorante con un tale blasone sono cose che non dovrebbero accadere … !!!!!
