13/10/2025: Exceptional dinner, great fish and a first course that was truly above the norm

13/10/2025: We went for a conference, had a single course and dessert. Still, the quality was the same as other times. The only downside was the wait time, both for the food and the location, but it must be said that there were a lot of us to serve at the same time.

24/08/2025: Nice place... quality products but expensive. Terrible staff, not the right one! We haven't been there in a while.

04/08/2025: Friendly service and atmosphere. However, the price/quality ratio is disastrous. The food quality is very poor and the prices are too high.

10/06/2025: Very beautiful grounds and facility..however, not a full service hotel in terms of staff and food. Breakfast was limited. Location is close to airport but a taxi is definitely required. It's a 30 min bus ride to Bologna. It was very safe here but not convenient to seeing Bologna or Modena...it took us over an hour to get to Modena via bus and train. Multiple bus routes within walking distance as well as several good restaurants. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Pretty views from some rooms.

07/06/2025: We stayed one night for a business trip. The rooms were very spacious and clean, including the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, nothing exceptional but adequate. Recommended

23/09/2025: I went to dinner with a colleague, we ate fish. Excellent dishes, very fresh raw vegetables, and a good selection of wines. We'll definitely be back.

07/10/2025: Out of all the great options here I wouldn’t recommend this. Only here for 4 nights and sad we wasted a dinner here. I’d seen it recommended online but we had a rubbish experience. Told we could only sit next to the toilet as everywhere was reserved, despite no one arriving by the time we left. Ordered a fried starter of arancini and croquettes to start, then a pizza and salad to share between two. By the time our starter arrived they also told us there was no salad or arugula at all, which kind of ruined the meal. The potato croquettes arrived cold in the middle, and the fried bits had zero sauce. The pizza was fine. Nothing to write home about.

23/09/2025: At home The Wife enjoys mortadella or bologna cold cuts for breakfast. So it made sense to grab a sandwich that is named after the city. Discovering Bologna. Thank you, Lorenzo.

12/07/2025: Posto meraviglioso in un contesto senza dubbio splendido, abbiamo cenato fuori adiacenti ad un un immenso parco verde e poco distante dai fenicotteri rosa. Premessa a parte, vorrei precisare alcune attenzioni che a mio avviso sono mancate come per esempio l'arrivo dell'antipasto mentre, con il menù in mano stavamo ancora scegliendo vino e pietanze, il sommelier (un po' pesante e poco concreto) . Camerieri molto carini e attenti, pietanze buone ma per il prezzo speso preferisco altri ristoranti (tra cui alcuni stellati) dove si spende meno e si mangia meglio con più portate. Ma consiglio di provarlo ne vale comunque la pena

06/07/2025: A parte le entre di benvenuto e la piccola pasticceria di fine pasto, a base delle quali vorrei pasteggiare tutte le volte che frequento il Fenicottero, molto ci sarebbe da dire sulla maestria di Alessandro nel presentare una cucina innovativa pur rispettando sapori, profumi e consistenze di una materia prima di altissima qualità. Personale di sala cordiale e molto disponibile

10/10/2025: August 15, 2025. We had a wonderful mid-August lunch. August 13, 2024. THANK YOU. We were fortunate to have been hosted here: if there hadn't been room, we would have had to return home to Imola to prepare lunch, since the restaurant where we had reservations decided to stay closed at 12:45 WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. We ate well; it was lovely on the veranda. I drank a glass of Sangiovese that I really enjoyed: I really enjoyed the Semifreddo Valsellustra. It made up for the irritation of seeing a lunch out of town go up in smoke, WITHOUT warning.

15/09/2025: We've been frequenting this restaurant for years. Excellent first courses, mushrooms, and meat. Well-stocked cellar.

29/07/2025: If you're in Santa Viola, you have to try GabryPizza. We've been customers for a while and are very satisfied. The pizza is excellent, the prices are moderate to low. The staff and delivery guys are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!!

29/08/2025: Surrounded by greenery, the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating under the gazebo. We ordered the €14 daily menu, a first course, a second course, and water. We chose between three first courses and three second courses. Simple but tasty dishes are available. Generous portions are available on Fridays, and fish is also available. The service is prompt and friendly, with friendly, and always smiling young staff. Well done, keep it up. We had a great time. We'll be back again, maybe even in the evening.

29/09/2025: It's unacceptable that there's only one person at the gas station who can't, rightly, leave the cash register uncovered, and therefore you can't buy LPG. The girl was very kind and lovely, I'd review the organization.

11/09/2025: Passing by on our motorcycle, we decided to stop at this restaurant. We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, and we had lunch outside overlooking the lake. The menu offers a variety of dishes, but we chose their specialty, crescentine with cured meats and cheeses, and I must say the portions were pleasantly generous! Everything was delicious. The only complaint I have is that the crescentine were a little greasy, but that's a minor point. I'm just mentioning it for the record, but it certainly won't keep us from returning. We were also pleased with the price.

12/10/2025: A little disappointed because the menu was very limited. Okay, we're closing, but I think that while the restaurant is open, customers should find at least some fried fish, especially considering the attractions there were at the time. What a shame 🤷🏻

09/10/2025: We are from a dinner package, and in my opinion, the food was not well prepared, and we suspected that some of it was spoiled.
