13/01/2026: We ate very well. The capon-filled tortellini were spectacular, as were the tagliatelle with ragù, and the other two first courses that I can't remember... The calzagatto was excellent. Impeccable service and the hostess was very kind and friendly. Congratulations.

31/12/2025: This place has been completely renewed recently. It's small (~25 places), good for intimate dinners. The menu is pretty short (which is good) with some simple/classic stuff and other classics revisited. I tried carciofi alla giudia (very good) and lasagne (revisited, good and tasty). Service polite and quick, price I would say normal (starter, primo, dessert, coffee, glass of wine = 45€). My experience was very pleasant, I recommend it, the quality is very good. I would recommend the management to take care of some minir details when presenting food: dessert (nocino mousse) wasn't very appealing to watch or lasagna was served in a high border dish which is uncomfortable to deal with a fork (much more suitable for a spoon). Bottom line: I liked it, can do an extra step towards quality, but overall a good experience with good food and service at a reasonable price given the quality and the location.

11/03/2026: A quaint restaurant located in an equestrian center surrounded by greenery. I think the place is perfect for children, who have the opportunity to spend time outdoors, perhaps watching the performances of the numerous horses and their riders. The food is good, the lesser-known ones very rich, and the selections are varied and interesting. The wine selection is also good. I'd say the price/quality ratio is good.

01/02/2026: The elegance and friendly smile of the hostess who seats you, the typical Bolognese dishes cooked with love and taste by the chef, the number one cotoletta petroniana in Bologna and the surrounding area that my son can't live without... but every time an off-menu that ranges through the good taste of our region combined with seasonal products... fried polenta with Colonnata lard and melted cheese... fried tortelloni filled with stracchino or friggione... typical desserts here too, the chef's rice cake... as a couple or in company, we feel at home! 03/09/2025: I've been buying Rozalia henna for several years. I learned the technique by following her YouTube channel, which has a wealth of content. The powder mixes with water, and the consistency remains creamy, making it easy to apply. I recommend purchasing it; you won't regret it.

24/02/2026: The facility was very beautiful. The room, we paid a little more for a superior one, was very nice. Beautiful bathroom, very clean, and a very comfortable bed. The spa was decent; let's say the pool was nice, along with the saunas and relaxation areas—minimum for a super 4-star hotel. My wife and I settled into a couple of loungers. I was just starting to relax and detox from a particularly stressful week when a receptionist arrived. She asked me if my wife's lounger next to me was occupied. I replied yes, and that my wife was three meters ahead of us, taking a dip in the pool. She kindly replied that it wasn't possible to use the loungers with towels or bathrobes. During the tour of the spa, we were only told to hang up our bathrobes. (We did this immediately.) The rule, however, I learned later, is that if you get up, you have to take everything away and hang it up. So if my wife gets up for a dip, she has to hang everything up, and if the spot is taken, she'll go somewhere else (and I'll get a new companion to chat with). I've been to many spas, but I've never seen anything like this. However, I want to give the hotel credit: the rule is there to make it easier for people to find a spot, given that the space is small, or at least not large enough for everyone to fit in during peak times. It's a shame that the rule is poorly written and explained (the feeling, as with us, is that it's not explained at all), with the predictable result that no one respects it. When I got up to take a bath, I took everything away. A guy, as soon as he saw me take my stuff away, came over, took my spot with his towel, and came to bathe with me. I then couldn't find a seat because all the seats were occupied with bathrobes or towels. No one respected the rule or seemed to know about it. Frankly, for a super 4-star hotel, this is a completely senseless management. Moreover, the attendant who spoke to me was clearing all the loungers, including those belonging to people in the sauna or elsewhere. When the occupant returned, someone else, unaware of the procedure, had taken up residence there in the meantime. The attendant only showed up once, long enough to ruin my spa experience. If you have rules, you're either in a position to enforce them effectively, or you forget it. A terrible experience that did everything but relieve stress... quite the opposite. The restaurant was expensive, but I must say the food was good. The prices were moderately high, the celery and chickpea hummus for €20 was unacceptable (I don't think calling it celery tataki changes the issue). The service was poor, with several minor errors and slowness. It was unforgivable that, when I asked for a specific wine, they brought me another one, the same grape variety but a different winery, without saying anything at all. The waiter simply started pouring the wine into my glass. When I reported it, I was told the one I'd chosen was sold out. If we'd been staying at a tavern, it would have been fine. Breakfast, again in keeping with the hotel's ostentatious lineage, was the bare minimum. The staff was very courteous and efficient. Special mention goes to the girl with glasses, the smartest and the only one, or almost, up to the task. The parking garage procedure was absurd. It's fine that you have to stop in one of the busiest parts of town to pick up the remote control from reception for the parking lot, which is 400 meters from the hotel. But having to return it at checkout, drive back to the hotel, find a parking spot in the busy area, get out, etc., is simply not an option. Furthermore, only after some persistence did it emerge that we could leave the remote control in a special mailbox in the garage itself. Hmm... In short, a very nice place. It's a shame about the haphazard management, which often doesn't live up to the star rating and asking price. It would take very little to make a stay pleasant.

06/04/2026: We had lunch yesterday on Easter Sunday. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, but I'm uncompromising about the quality of the food: Piacenza tortelli had nothing Piacenza about them (the filling never arrived), mushroom crepes, nothing special, good anolini, acceptable main courses, and for dessert, since it was Easter, I expected at least a small piece of Colomba. Instead, I received a semifreddo that had the consistency and appearance of chalk and no flavor whatsoever. Then the bill was 50 euros each, even without a receipt! Never again! In this case, the masks were sold at Easter, not Carnival.

24/02/2026: Everything was excellent. We had pizza, but I saw many other tempting options, like the burgers and meat dishes. There's a fireplace in the dining room, which we really liked. We were in a hurry, but they served us right away. Everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

25/03/2026: We went to Piedigrotta 2.0 and had a really good meal, especially the fish. The grilled fish was excellent, and the first courses were also very good, well-made and flavorful. The pizza wasn't bad either, so there was something for everyone. Only one caveat: the wait was a bit long for a Thursday, but overall the experience was positive. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat good fish.
