12/10/2025: Everything, absolutely everything, was delicious! Superb piadinas. Top-notch ingredients. Simple atmosphere and friendly, professional service. I went there with 14 friends and we ate very well, spending a fair amount, with little wait in a family-friendly, cheerful atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!!!

19/10/2025: Last night I went to dinner at this restaurant with my husband. Facing the Riolo Terme fortress, the setting is stunning. The restaurant has an open kitchen, and guests dine in the wine cellar, amidst the aromas and colors of bottles of every kind. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The staff is polite, professional, honest, and discreet. The food is refined, carefully prepared, and of the highest quality. The dinner was accompanied by an excellent wine chosen by the owner based on the dishes we ordered. The final comment is clearly more than positive! A little gem where we will definitely return.
09/10/2025: I'd give them 10 stars! The food was delicious, the best we've had on our trip so far! The dishes are bold flavor combinations, and the chef does a fantastic job! The wine and prosecco were delicious.

30/11/2025: We returned to Il Cardello Restaurant in Casola Valsenio after an excellent first experience, and this time too it was worth it. We ate very carefully prepared and delicious dishes. The atmosphere is very pleasant with friendly service. A place that truly deserves to be chosen and chosen again.
15/11/2025: The inn is nestled in the hills between Imola and Faenza. Taking the panoramic road from Imola, you can admire a spectacular landscape: woods, vineyards, valleys, and ravines, which are truly magical in autumn.
The inn is meticulously maintained and clean, furnished with understated elegance; nothing is left to chance.
The cuisine is traditional, yet refined, both in its flavors, thanks to the use of top-quality ingredients, and in its original presentation.
Excellent value for money.

16/11/2025: Dinner with a quality burlesque show. The atmosphere was refined and pleasant. The service was excellent. I appreciated that, despite my vegan diet, they were able to accommodate me (I let them know when I booked). They didn't serve me the usual grilled vegetables thrown on my plate, but rather a well-constructed menu from appetizer to dessert. On another occasion, I had an aperitif there, and even though I hadn't told them, they served me a very respectable platter. Thank you.
11/11/2025: I frequent Mami' for their tango evenings on Thursdays. The atmosphere is truly unique, reminiscent of a Parisian bistro. The staff is very friendly, and the cocktails are carefully crafted, accompanied by appetizers.
It's a perfect place for an evening with friends or a romantic dinner for two.
I hope to soon try their brunch or burlesque shows, for which they're very popular.
I absolutely recommend it.

28/10/2025: Just had a great evening at this lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the Castle at Vigoleno. Very good quality charcuterie with top class hams also, mixed cheeses, Torta Fritta, fried Polenta and sweet & sour homemade crispy vegetables. The homemade Pasta is of very good quality and light as a feather, The Fiorentina Steak is exceptional full of flavour, tender as butter and cooked to perfection, good choice of homemade sweets, I had the Pistachio semi freddo which was delicious, we washed it all down with a good bottle of Prosecco and Local fizzy Gutturnio, finished off the meal with oak aged grappa & coffee.
Service was excellent, efficient and very friendly.
If in the area can only highly recommend!

Menu featuring excellent products and exceptional wines.

23/11/2025: We had lunch here on the second Sunday of October. It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is lovely, located near the Forlì park. The staff who served us were impeccable, friendly, and kind. We tried appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Everything was delicious! Highly recommended 👍
20/11/2025: I usually like to try different restaurants, but I returned to Don Abbondio and it confirmed the high quality of both the food and the service. The fresh pasta was of high quality, as were the meat and desserts. Everything we tried was superb. Thanks again. 5 stars on every level. I recommend it!

16/11/2025: We were in Bologna for the Radiohead concert, and since everything in the city center was packed, we found a table almost by chance at this little restaurant... and I'd say we were truly lucky!
The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, making you feel immediately at home. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are small and well-made, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The service was also kind, friendly, and attentive, without ever being intrusive.
A simple place with a lot of heart, perfect for a quiet lunch. If we return to Bologna, we'll definitely be back!
16/11/2025: It's rare that a restaurant this well known lives up to it's reputation, but this place absolutely does. They serve up great traditional local food without repeating all the same plates as every other restaurant, and with genuine friendly service and a homey atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome. Especially outstanding on our visit were the balanzoni and the grilled mackerel with cabbage, but we also loved the garganelli, the salumi with crescentine and the cheese plate. Reserve well in advance!!
