20/03/2025: I visited LA Zagara restaurant last summer in Positano, and I must say the view was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is in a very touristy area, which is expected. We only ordered desserts and coffee, and it took quite a long time for them to arrive. However, when the desserts finally came, they were really good – definitely the highlight of our visit.
Sadly, the worst part of the experience was the toilet. It was very dirty, which was quite disappointing considering the beautiful location. Overall, the desserts and the view were great, but the service and cleanliness could definitely be improved.
03/11/2024: Once upon a time there was Zagara... I don't judge the prices because they are clear on the menu and no one forces you to sit down. Good coffee, but served without water. The lemon delight is not a lemon delight but a sponge cake with cream. Very elegant terrace and tables but then the bathroom is indecent, filthy and with a broken lock, but there are the latest generation Dyson sinks. Service done by very young guys without a more expert guide, 4 waiters, few places occupied, the coffees arrive first and the dessert is served to us at the table later directly by the counter clerk, nothing apocalyptic but they are details that are noticeable. Honestly very disappointed when I think about how it was and how it is now!

10/02/2025: Capricci cuenta con una ubicación fantástica en Positano con un ambiente encantador y un excelente servicio. El personal fue amable y atento, haciéndonos sentir bienvenidos durante toda nuestra visita. Sin embargo, aunque el entorno y el servicio eran encomiables, la comida lamentablemente no cumplió con las expectativas.
Para los altos precios, anticipamos una experiencia gastronómica memorable, pero los platos se cayeron. Los sabores eran abrumadores, y la calidad no justificaba el costo. Dada la abundancia de increíbles opciones gastronómicas en Positano, Capricci era, por desgracia, nuestro restaurante menos favorito durante nuestra estancia.
Si bien la ubicación y el servicio son definitivamente destacados, la comida dejó mucho que desear. Con tantos restaurantes excepcionales en la zona, probablemente elegiríamos un lugar diferente la próxima vez.
30/12/2024: À FUIR !!!!
Déjà on est mal reçu, on prend des spaghettis carbonnara et ça arrive avec 5 ridicules raviolis et quand on demande ils nous disent qu ils n avaient plus de spaghettis ( 16€ le plat ). Ensuite une attente de 25 minutes entre le premier plat servi et le dernier alors que nous étions seulement 4. Pour finir une fois parti nous voyons un plat de spaghettis prêt à partir donc je demande ce qu il se passe et ils me répondent qu ils en avaient finalement. En bref de la discrimination envers les francais je pense et je ne recommande absolument pas. Juste du foutage de gueule!

17/10/2024: Siamo tornati in ferie a casa e la nostra tappa obbligata è questo ristorante mozzafiato. Il pranzo è stata semplicemente buonissimo: il polpo su purea di patate era divino, cosi cone i tagliolini fatti in casa al ragout l'angous e il pesce locale al forno. Il dolce poi....la classica ma mai semplice da preparare delizia al limone, buonissima. Tutto perfetto. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. E la location è semplicemente mozzafiato....per non parlare della professionalità dei 2 proprietari. Sono davvero preparati e non improvvisati e ci mettono l'anima in questo ristorante. Voglio però solo permettermi di darvi un consiglio tecnico: il polpo sistematelo in un piatto con circonferenza più larga, viene scomodo tagliarlo in un piatto così piccolo.

20/10/2023: Wow what an experience. Thankfully we waited patiently to be seated, we ordered a couple of mozzarella, tomato and Basil paninis with Aperol Spritz which were all lovely. What we weren’t expecting was to be served by the Italian Basil Fawlty, with all the people who just sat down without being invited as individual Manuels. It literally was a laugh a minute and we were okay because we had waited to be seated. You’d pay good money in the UK for a Fawlty Towers experience, here we were getting it for free.
The stories the one star reviews tell are absolutely correct (whenever have you heard a 5 star reviewer saying that?) I would definitely recommend going but I’d suggest that you wait to be seated, order your food and a spritz, sit back and enjoy the entertainment.
For any younger readers please replace any mention of Fawlty Towers with Karens.

02/11/2024: In vacanza a Positano tra colazioni abbonanti e cene abbondanti ci voleva un pranzo veloce e leggero e qui abbiamo trovato dei panini ottimi, fatti al momento con gli ingredienti freschi dal bancone. Davvero ottimo e prezzi onesti.
09/10/2024: Hermosa comida deli - focaccia, rollos crujientes, mozzarella fresca, salami, etc.
Masivo y muy lleno
¡Una alternativa barata al almuerzo en positano!

26/07/2024: Sur les hauteurs de Positano un peu à l’écart de l’effervescence de la ville. On choisit ce qu’on veut manger dans une épicerie primeur (comme une superette) et on peut ensuite s’installer sur la petite terrasse avec vue sur Positano, avec services inclus : couverts, verres, tomates découpées par la patronne avec un filet d’huile d’olive (+++). Patronne très bien bienveillante et soucieuse de notre bien être.

20/11/2024: Quel bonheur de venir dans ce restaurant 😍 Tout était parfait!
Nous avons très bien mangé, la salade Caprese était excellente, très savoureuse avec beaucoup de goût.
Les serveurs sont adorables, accueillants et super sympathiques.
Le point fort de ce restaurant reste le cadre et la vue imprenable sur la côte, la mer et Positano.
Nous avons eu la chance de venir le tout dernier jour d’ouverture avant la fermeture annuelle et nous ne regrettons pas d’avoir pu tester cette adresse.
Restaurant incontournable si vous logez ou passez par Nocelle. J’ai déjà hâte d’y retourner lors de mon prochain séjour à Nocelle ❤️
16/10/2024: Hay muchos restaurantes geniales aquí en Positano, pero este realmente se destaca con la vista increíble y la comida. Recomiendo encarecidamente si eres amante de la carne, ya que esta fue una de las mejores que he tenido. Ir durante la puesta del sol también es una necesidad!

13/06/2024: We called ahead to arrange lunch for 16 after hiking the Path of Gods. Francesco greeted us with delicious sandwiches, salads, tarts, and drinks. Plus, he reserved space for our large group. The lemon granita was refreshing after the 2+ hour hike. Most of us enjoyed two. If you’re planning to hike the Path of Gods, this is “the place” to stop for lunch. Not only is the food scrumptious, but the hospitality was also excellent.

03/10/2024: Aunque no nos alojamos en el hotel, queríamos probar el restaurante. El ambiente era muy relajado. El servicio fue de primera categoría (algunos de los mejores que hemos tenido). La vista de Positano es fabulosa. La comida era muy buena, pero no se puede obtener pasta con las albóndigas. El plato de albóndigas era genial. Habría sido perfecto si se pudiera añadir pasta si se opta por hacerlo. Las patatas fritas estaban geniales. La terraza era bastante oscura (siendo una pequeña linterna o su teléfono para la luz para que pueda leer el menú). Hubiera calificado un 5 si la pasta fuera un complemento opcional. Para mí, este es un lugar muy romántico para tomar un poco de vino y ver la ciudad. Para mí, esta no es la mejor experiencia gastronómica, pero fue buena (una vez más, no olvide la linterna o la linterna de su teléfono - lo va a necesitar).
