11/10/2025: A sweet discovery, we went to eat a pizza and I must say it was really excellent with quality products, the service was excellent and attentive to detail, the place was very nice

23/05/2026: Really bad service. Was offered a table with 2 bad seats even though the place was almost empty. We asked to if we could sit at a proper table. But they said no. Don't go to unpolite resturants.

20/12/2025: Unfortunately, I can't give it a 0, but the place deserves the minimum. We asked if we could sit down, and they said yes, as soon as the occupied table was cleared. As we were sitting down, another waitress wearing glasses interrupted, sounding annoyed and completely uninterested in what I was saying. She replied that she didn't know who we'd spoken to and that she hadn't been notified. She tried to tell us that we'd given her a lower number, blatantly lying, and that the table was no longer available because it was perhaps reserved for friends of the owner. I can't rate the service and food because I left the place, disgusted by everyone's unprofessional attitude. Be wary of those who pretend to be professionals in the sector.

30/10/2025: The guy who assistanted us was so friendly and again beautiful energy. The setting is cute because you can also sit and enjoy. The first night we went in and I wanted a regular pizza with no meat and I asked him and he made one especially for us. I am so grateful. The food there are just delicious. We even offered a tip and he was like no. Such a great guy. Thank you for being so good to us. We went again the next day to have breakfast and the croissants and cappuccino was again just Soo yum..

02/05/2026: I'm changing my review from 4 to 2 stars. Quality has dropped dramatically over the years. The portions are paltry, but they're still charged like they used to. Looking at photos from previous years and today's dishes, there's nothing similar. The house appetizer was paltry. I remember there were hot and cold dishes, but now it's just 2 shellfish, a bit of seafood salad, and the usual black rice that's left on the plate (€18). The first courses are seafood, but the seafood was still seafood-based (€14/16). The fried food was good, but 2 prawns, a handful of calamari, and a few anchovies were lost on the plate (€16). I'm so sorry. I hope they go back to the way they were back when we used to travel 100km to eat there.

04/05/2026: Terrible service. There were two of us: the two first courses were served within 45 minutes of each other, and the pasta that came after was raw. NEVER AGAIN, ABSOLUTELY AVOID. They didn't even apologize, and they didn't even pretend to at least offer coffee.

04/05/2026: My partner and I went as a couple. We wanted to secure a table by booking three days in advance since we were coming from out of town for the weekend. The welcome was lukewarm (perhaps from the owner?)—they had a reservation, but we got the table because we arrived early, not because it was reserved. A professional waiter took our order: two vegetable appetizers and two first courses with a glass of wine. The appetizers arrived almost immediately, good but not exceptional—perhaps too much garlic—but the worst came with the first courses. Only one first course of the two ordered arrived almost immediately (perhaps too early?), with the promise that the second first course was about to arrive. I waited to eat while waiting for my partner's dish. I waited, but to keep the dish from getting cold, I started, also because the idea was to try both first courses, but obviously we wanted to start at the same time. Good but not exceptional. The second first course arrived about 20 minutes late after a couple of requests, and the pasta was undercooked. We were about to leave when the second entree arrived with apologies for the circumstances. We stayed, so as not to ruin our mood and the meal completely, and to see if they would provide further explanations. We were left unattended for a while, and I had to call the waitress to try ordering dessert. To top it all off, they took our order for dessert, but after a few minutes the poor girl returned, saying our order had run out. We finished the meal with a coffee and paid the bill without any attention from the owner, who simply processed the card payment without saying a word. I'd say that, in addition to the obvious kitchen error and the cold, if not nonexistent, welcome, the dishes each received a passing grade and a failing grade. Not to be repeated given the obviously poor quality-price ratio. Maybe we were unlucky, but bad things could happen to others too. Just so you know. They have a lot to learn about how to treat customers. Perhaps we would have done better to leave the restaurant sooner... Luckily Scario remains a gem, but certainly not for U'Zifaro.

25/09/2025: Honestly, a nice place, good and varied products, the tact and common sense are missing, not from the owners but from its staff, the service needs improving.

26/03/2026: On Thursday, I ordered a takeout pizza at 7pm, so no delivery, and was told it would be ready at 8:45pm. It took an hour to prepare.

08/02/2026: I had dinner there with my family, and I can say that the staff is very kind, but I wouldn't say the fried food and pizza were inedible, but almost... the fried food was super frozen and badly fried, the pizza was tasteless and undercooked.

23/11/2025: I was there this summer. The first time, we had such a great time that we decided to return several times during our stay. Impeccable dishes, attentive service, and the pizza is the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: What an amazing experience we had at this amazing restaurant. It’s a small family restaurant but the food is outstanding. I’d say the best food in the area. The owner, Benito , greeted us with a house spritz and a huge smile…which is rare in most Amalfi coast restaurants 😜. Later on , he gave us some local appetizer filled with cheese and it was wow. We ordered 4 cheeses pizza and sea food pasta that was recommended by his wonderful waiter …and he spoke English…which is a rare thing on the coast as well . Both dishes were so good . I couldn’t stop eating. I couldn’t even imagine that simple dishes can have so many flavors at once. At the end of the, Benito treated us to a house lemonchello and I fell in love with it. It was out of this world. Also we ordered some dessert that was recommended by our waiter as well. Obviously I didn’t ask its name . It was a white shaped dome with pear 🍐 filling inside. It was just wow. Total satisfaction in one meal. I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic Italian homemade meal and an amazing service…which is also very rare up there lol. Enjoy ! Definitely 10 ✨.

13/05/2026: I admit I booked at Pan's Flute without learning much about the menu. I wanted to be wowed. What drew me in was undoubtedly the location, simply indescribable beauty. A terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast, which, as an Italian, fills me with pride. The evening began with a drink chosen at random: the waiter—with an old-fashioned courtesy—brought a die to roll. Each number corresponded to a drink (but you could, of course, roll it again or choose your own). Once we sat down, the flavors of the "family" recipes took on twists that intrigued, surprised, and satisfied both my partner and me. So, what can I say? Whether it's because of my enthusiastic review, those of a thousand others like me, or simply because I'm curious to find out if it's true, I hope you experience it at least once in your life. Enjoy your meal!

18/05/2026: Caffetteria Mansi Lorenzo was one of our favorite spots in town. Raphael was incredibly welcoming. He recognized us when we came back and always went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. He was attentive and kind, often bringing little treats to the table even when we hadn’t ordered them, simply to be a thoughtful host and make our experience more enjoyable. The pastries were delicious, and the coffee and espresso were made perfectly every time. It became the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the moment. Sitting in the town square with a coffee in hand, chatting, and taking in the beauty and peaceful atmosphere of Scala was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The warmth, hospitality, and charm of this café made it a place we looked forward to visiting every day.

21/12/2025: A historic pizzeria in Vallo where you can enjoy a good pizza with quality ingredients and a truly fair price. The place could use a makeover and a new identity, as it's rather bland. In short, it's ideal if you want to spend a pleasant evening enjoying a good pizza with friends.

07/10/2025: Restaurants/pizzerias are often subjective, or due to a lack of knowledge of good food, to spend the evening is one thing, but often the best chef/cook is at home. For the clientele it has, more staff would be needed, especially in the dining room to serve, a single waiter can't keep up with everyone, always sweaty and stressed. One evening I had the opportunity to see a customer at a table "maybe he allowed himself to be confidential", get up and act as waiter at his own table, given the long wait and the confusion of who was before and who after. Hygiene is also not the best, then it depends on the antibodies that each person has. In the Cilento there are few places where you can say I ate well. Especially in the summer period in the coastal areas, better to avoid!
